Service is ok, but sometimes the count is wrong. I split my business between Mountain View and Truckee with Truckee giving the best service. Beware both locations take an hour off for lunch. Lines can be long. I suggest taking a photo of actual hours they are open. And visit accordingly. read more

They have implemented automated assistant (AI) as their phone service. There is no longer a choice to leave a message that you need them to contact your dr for a refill. My dr requires me to monthly request this. I now have to go in to the pharmacy & in person request them to contact my dr for my monthly refill as I can't do it on the phone. There's no way to call the pharmacy, I am blocked by the AI phone system. It's horrible, always having to go to the pharmacy-no phone service that works with this AI system. Used to be easy to pick up a prescription. Now there are long lines since the corporation closed the other CVSs closer to my home. Currently I've been trying to get a regular prescription filled and for a week keep getting the message that "we are out of this prescription." I finally asked if they could transfer my prescription to another CVS. The person who was supposed to transfer me dropped the call! I made the call myself and am hoping for the best for the other CVS pharmacy. If it doesn't work out, I am done with CVS. read more

Horrible customer service in pharmacy. Long lines, rushed, and rude. People are getting prescriptions because they've been diagnosed with something that requires medication. CVS charged my Credit card 5.59 each month for Extra care. I have 10.00 rewards each month and i pay 5.59 of it. Issue # 1- I received 30% coupon on one full priced item. i was not able to use it on shampoo i tried to buy on the internet for pick up at the store. I went to store, at the store coupon works on the same item. Why CVS does not let me use it on the internet? All it said - Use it through Jan 14 one full priced item. I used coupons when buy over internet in the past. If CVS does not want we use coupons they should not give it to us. Why create this kind of confusions for customers? Issue # 2 At the store : Shampoo cost 21.29, Minus 30% coupon -6.39 Equal 14.90 with coupon applied. Minus 10.02 in rewards: 14.90-10.02= 4.89- final price for the item + tax 1.36 Equals 6.25. I gave coupon and told about rewards to cashier - he put everything in but my price was 8.63. He said he can not do anything about it - everything on register. i look at register, 30 % coupon was there, rewards were there, just pay total was over the amount it should be. Even if tax is calculated and added on 21.29, it will be 6.84 but not 8.63. I asked to see Manager, i was told she left. CVS register/cashier first deducted 10.00 rewards and after used 30% coupon -so as result customer will pay 2.40 more. And they do it when the coupon stated -for full price item and should be use first on full price -21.29. I told him 30 % should be deducted from the original price. What an unpleasant experience- CVS does it on purpose to make customers pay more. SCAM. All other stores use rewards when payment applies to reduce or to cover payment- after coupons applied, stores like gap, old navy, banana republic. I've been wrestling for 35 minutes with their virtual assistant trying to get to talk to a human being. Totally frustrating. Is there some alternative phone number I can call? The problem is that I got a phone call from the pharmacist an hour ago about my prescription. My wife talked to the pharmacist but couldn't remember the message. Has anyone else been lied to at this drug store. Do to incompetent pharmacist at the store my wife was without without her medication for 1 1/2 weeks. It took longer because I was told that her prescription couldn't be renewed for 90 days. Utter baloney. Finally after a very long time I myself figured out what the problem was and they finally admitted it was on their end blaming it on a computer problem. Totally baloney. My wife has been on this medication for years! The only reason that it was changed was because of my perseverance. I will credit the fix to the district manager ( who says she spoke to the pharmacy department) and had everything straightened out finally. I will say that they admitted guilt and apologized for the mess up. I hope this problem doesn't come up again and that others do not experience their aloof attitude. And yes, again they admitted guilt on this situation. But it didn't help that she was without meds for a long. Glad it wasn't a life or death situation! read more

Heather is the best employee at this location. She has helped find things every time I needed help and has an amazing way of finding stuff! Her customer service is way above par and and she is the only reason I shop at this location when i need to go to CVS even if I have to drive past other drug stores to get here. read more

As far as CVS stores go this is the nicest one I know. The guys are always helpful and friendly. It is not perfect - they are not always stocked up, and the pharmacy is slow at times, but always good customer service and in todays world it matters a lot! read more

No words. It's not fully the staff's fault. While they make a lot of mistakes I believe it's due to them having outdated computer systems snd being understaffed. The pharmacy here is so slow and dysfunctional, it's ridiculous. There are far too few people attending to customers, and they all need to take thyroid medication to function at a pace faster than half of the DMV staff's speed. Plenty of mistakes in finding prescriptions. Everything takes 3x as long as it should, and because of that, the line is always 8 people long to pick up prescriptions, as they process one person every 5 minutes. read more

I don't know why the rating is so low here. Maybe because they are extremely busy having taken over the prescriptions from the closed Miramonte location- and maybe others. Good luck with your prescriptions at this place. Total idiots behind the counter and their computer systems are a mess. I have had to get the doctor and the insurance company to intervene directly the two times I had my meds for cancer treatment filled. The first time they insisted they could only give me 6 days worth of the drug even though the script said 30 with 3 refills. Hit a similar problem on the first refill. Got 30 days worth but then they said Atena would not cover the cost. Like I said, the doc and Aetna had already called them once on this to confirm coverage. Had to repeat the process yet again. Also have eye drop prescription that they never get correct. Prescription is a 3 month supply but CVS insists on sending monthly reminders to refill. Have asked four times for this to be corrected and have been assured four times that they have updated the system. Even took it off auto-refill. Still get the text messages every four weeks. Idiots! It is like musical chairs behind the counter as well. Never seems to be the same staff month to month. And they nearly always seem to be confused on what to do on the register. Nice, huge, well stocked CVS. It never seems to be crowded - which is a plus at the checkout line. The store is very clean - even the restrooms. They have a sizable wine selection and are always running a special or two. It's a great little pit stop to pick up essentials. read more

There have been several occasions when I've had to stop by here on weekdays mornings around 7am. It's always the same cashier working. A very pleasant lady but she is s-l-o-w and doesn't seem to understand that customers are sometimes in a rush. She's trying to help by looking over the coupons and letting you know that a similar item is on sale. When I said, " no thank you" she gives you a motherly look like , "you're crazy, you don't want to save $.50?!" But I've ordered photo prints that I then had to trim myself before, and last time we went they weren't sure if they had WD-40 or not (they didn't)...
