When I was a young teenager, and in high school my second job was at CVS pharmacy at the local mall. So I'm used to rigging up items, and bagging them. Except now I do it on my own and don't get paid for it! Nothing like the self check out line. However, the one cashier on duty had a whole bunch of people in it apparently buying adult beverages. I tried saving some money, but apparently I have two perhaps three CVS phone numbers, still on file 20 years later and no matter what I try they don't get merged. They don't get deleted, causing me to get no discounts now! There was so much coughing sounds coming from the back where the pharmacist is, I don't know if it's an issue of people being sick this time of year especially or what. I wanted to find out the price of an item tried to use the scanner, it wasn't working. So I got the attention of one of one cashier and she explained how to use the scanner, almost shaming me. This is a good place to pick up your medicine prescription, and don't mind Waiting with other people ill as well. (I like to go to my personally favorite location, - a different pharmacy that has a drive-through!) read more

I have been going to this Long's/CVS for well over 30 years. I have always been treated with respect. In the last year or so there has been an employee that has treated me rudely about five times. Today I took note of her name tag. Kim. I came home and mentioned her rude treatment to my son, and he knew exactly who I was talking about and he told me he had been treated rudely by her also. I gave the store three stars however I do like the store and most of the employees are outstanding. The only other issue I had was when the previous manager would stand in front of the store smoking. I go here at least once, or twice a month whenever I need to buy some beauty products. But I hate buying gift cards at this CVS. The lady with the brown hair who always wears a mask pisses me off. She kept saying "Oh it's a scam," over and over. Then she says did you want cash, or debit card when buying the gift card, but continues to ask "it's a scam when I was trying to decide." She kept saying it multiple times. I was with my dad at the time, and we were like. Well why the hell you guys have gift cards then, since there is a scam going around? I ended dropping off everything and left. It was the worse costumer service experience I had. This happened months ago, but I wanted to let costumers know that there's employees who are like this when purchasing a gift card. She just makes me nervous and I try to use a self checkout one time, but she even gets in the way and shows me how to scan the items even though I didn't ask for help. I wanted to do it on my own. So yeah. Everyone else is nice, except for her. She just makes me uncomfortable every freaking time. If I could give zero star rating I would. I've had multiple negative experiences with Kim at this location. I'm honestly fed up with the rudeness and unprofessionalism. Every time I come in, she is dismissive and unhelpful. Most recently I needed assistance getting a cosmetic item from a locked case. The assistance button was broken, so I walked to the register to ask for help. Instead of assisting me told me to go press the button and wait. When I explained the button was broken, she interrupted me and yelled over me insisting there was a second button I should've used -one I had no idea even existed. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is beyond frustrating. CVS should really ensure their employees treat customers with respect rather than assuming we know store layouts or yelling at us for asking for assistance. read more

I was shopping for a test. A lady in Black wearing a mask. No name tag followed me to the register standing no less than 3 ft from me all the way till even I was putting my PIN number in for my debit card. She was now standing at that point about 2 ft from me close enough to be on camera with me at the self-checkout. As soon as I got my receipt she then stood directly next to me reaching for a basket for the same register asking me if everything worked out fine. One I don't want my financial information being watched. Two I don't feel like being harassed, or stalked, three personal space still is a thing, especially for somebody wearing a mask. Also, when I tried to call to make a complaint somebody answered the phone and then just hung up without saying anything. Your store is extremely horrible and disrespectful. CVS always gets a bad rep but this CVS is very clean, the female evening manager is a sweetheart. My extra care plus wasn't working and she spent almost 10 minutes trying to get it fixed. Finally she did and it was very appreciated. The pharmacist and techs are also fantastic! They filled a prescription for me that my insurance didn't approve, found me a coupon, then when I went to pick up she said she kept searching for more coupons and found me an even better one! It's rare that retail stores go above and beyond and this location has many employees that do that for their customers. Thank you! read more

A over weight woman that had purple and pinkish hair with glasses and she is pale offended me because she accused me and my friend of stealing because we are high school Mexican students and she kept interrogating us but we didn't do anything then as we were about to leave she came up to us and told us that we can't be in there anymore if we weren't going to buy anything but we just didn't find what we were looking for and she said that she had seen us the last two days but me and my friend have not even been to that cvs in weeks and last time we did go we bought something so she was just bugging she could've checked the cameras instead of being rude and following us around. read more

Not my primary pharmacy, but I do come here due to its proximity to my home. This place is very busy, but to its credit, they are very well staffed. They handle pharmaceutic needs as well as vaccinations (noted flu and covid). Even with the volume of customers, I found each person I dealt with (6 different staff members) all cordial and informative. My doctor had forgot to send my prescriptions and the staff was understanding. I made a call to my doctor and had it resubmitted and was then given the option to wait for 30 minutes in store or come back later. In 20 minutes, my prescriptions were ready...with a catch. My doctor mistakenly prescribed me an antibiotic that I was allergic to. This was caught by the pharmacy and we both contacted the doctor again to get this straightened out. I went home and came back later and things were resolved. Even with the occasional customer frustrations I witnessed, the staff remained calm, cordial and informative. Once you realize they are there to help you, it is obvious how much this place cares about its customers. They even remembered my name after I came back and greeted me with a smile. read more

I frequent this store to pick up online orders and it's rare that I actually have to go inside and shop around. Today I had some time and needed to grab a gift card anyway so I went in and picked up a gift card and a few other things. When checking out I accidentally selected the email option for my receipt for the gift card and figured it was okay. 3 hours passed and the email never came! I had to go back to the store to ask for a print out of the receipt or transaction so I could give it to the person I bought the gift card for in case there are issues with the card. The lady at the cash register said she would need a manager to access the transaction on a computer "upstairs" and that the manager was not gonna be available until tomorrow. My biggest gripe is how there's no manager onsite - on a Saturday - to assist with these things. Not even a supervisor around... And generating a receipt from a purchase the same day from the same counter I would think should be a fairly easy task to handle for someone who's working the register. Hoping for a better experience should I decide to do another in store shopping. read more

Truly the WORST pharmacy around. For as long as I've lived up the street from here (29 years) I have NEVER had a positive experience here. I hardly get sick or need a prescription so I always forget how terrible this place is with their customer service. I walked in and Celine had the mousiest voice ever, I'm sick and can't really hear so apparently she's asking me questions but I can't hear her and she's just staring at me, so I say "what?" And then she whispers her questions to me. I knew the prescription wouldn't be ready since I had just come from my doctor but I was just trying to make sure they had my prescription. So she takes me over at Drop off to see how long it will be and tells me it's still processing so most likely 30-40 minutes. I go order food for my brother at Aloha Stacks (on a Sunday morning) and wait for about 30 minutes for the food alone. So after I get the food I go back to the pharmacy just to see if it's ready since I'm there already and not wanting to go back out. I'm the only customer in line and I walk up and Celine and the other girl are whispering and gossiping in the corner, Celine sees me standing there and continues to have a conversation. I sit there for about a minute before the other girl about sees me and immediately takes me to help me out. Celine knows my situation considering she had JUST seen me about 40 minutes ago but proceeds to let me go through the rigamarole with Nour before Nour sends me back to Drop off to see how much longer. Celine helps me at Drop off and looks me up and says it's not ready and says nothing else... so I ask how much longer and she says she's not sure. And at that point I'm just beyond frustrated and I walk away. AS SOON AS I GET HOME I get the stupid text telling me the prescription is ready... truly the worst... I will never come back to this one, if rather drive further away to a different one. I tried to have my brother go pick up the prescription (because I had zero desire to deal with them again) and somehow "magically" the prescription pick up location was changed. And when you try to call you can never directly speak with a person, you have to go through their automated system and leave a Voicemail. read more

She claimed that I was stealing and ask about where I left a bag of candy that I looked at because she thought I was stealing It. I went to my local CVS to pick up a prescription for my wife. My Medicare prescription plan refused to cover this medication, so I was, reluctantly, prepared to pay almost $300. What could I do? When a medication is needed, it's needed. And, getting this particular medication was very important, and urgent. I couldn't wait the time it would take to appeal the determination, and there would be no guarantee I would win. So, I went up to the pharmacy counter with credit card in-hand. A very friendly pharmacy tech named Victoria took the information and grimaced when she saw the cost. She truly felt my pain. Then her eyes lit up and she said, "Wait a minute... there might be another way. Let me try something." With a few strokes on her computer, she asked, "How does $19.99 sound?" That sounded pretty incredible, and wonderful! Victoria could have just processed my prescription and watched emotionlessly as I handed over several hundred dollars. But, because she is a kind, empathetic person, she figured out a way to get the medication covered. And, it was not an obvious way. It took a lot of discipline on my part to not jump over the counter and give Victoria a hug. But, I think my tearful thank you was all she needed to know how much I appreciated her efforts. I went here and bought a few items including vitamins that had a coupon them saying "$2 off right now". When I later looked at the receipt I noticed that they had forgotten to scan the coupon, so I went back in to quickly ask the cashier if anything could be done. I walked up to the guy behind the register and said "can I ask you a quick question about my receipt" and immediately the guy starts yelling at me "what do you think you are doing! You think you can cut the line?! Go to the back of the line". Stunned that I just got yelled at for trying to ask a question I stumble over to the line, which is not even in front of the register, so you can't even see that there is a line! The line apparently starts in front of the self checkout over to the right, even though the cashier is to the left. Then the cashier yells at me at the back of the line "so what is your question". I ask if I can approach him to show my receipt and then he just ignores me. There is another employee sitting behind the self checkout so I ask if he can help me but he says no he is not working right now. I ask if he can give me the name of the rude employee who yelled at me, but he won't give it to me. So as I leave I tell the employee at the register, you were very rude to me and I'm going to talk to a manager about this. He yells back, you are the rude one trying to cut in line! I called and spoke with the manager Mike, who said about the employee who yelled at me, who apparently is a supervisor, that "he gets like that when he is stressed". Whoa wait a minute... so you have an employee who you know yells at people when he is stressed and yet you let him be a supervisor in customer service?! If you know this employee can't handle stress he should not be a supervisor and anyone who yells at customers should be unloading stock in the back, NOT dealing with customers. As someone who was once a supervisor for CVS myself I found this shameful and embarrassing to the company's name. I did come in and talk to the manager face to face. He was nice. He gave me a coupon/gift card for the inconvenience. Which I did appreciate. However, I still would not shop here anymore knowing they keep such a rude employee working here as a supervisor. read more

He gets home and there is the bare minimum on the label: you have to keep the paperwork with the medicine lest you can forget and you have to dig deep to get to all the facts which there are many concerning this one. To all consumers who live with pain, avoid this pharmacy. These are the common issues: 1. Your Dr did not renew your perscription, but your Dr said they did. Especially if your refill is due on the weekend and you have no way of contacting your doctor. Pretty convenient for CVS to keep their cost down in supplies. 2. They are out of stock 3. On the day you can pick it up, it has to be in the afternoon. 4. The staff are rude. 5. A pharmacists will tell you that you can pick up your prescription and another will say their system will not release the prescription. The truth of the matter is a pharmacist can over ride a prescription because they are authorized to. However, if your Dr says no early refills then you have to wait. Before anyone judges this comment I only take the dose prescribed, and never asked to increase the strength of my medication. I don't have time to lay around all day high on pain meds. Additionally, there are a lot of pain meds I have thrown away. I have been told by an ex-employee that staff will look up people they want to date to see what kind of prescription medication they are on? Truly a HIPPA Violation. Also, they will run your prescription through and they do not have in stock. How unethical. And are you aware that anyone can pull up your name to see what type of medications you are on? Authorized prescribers, pharmacists, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies. Who are the regulatory agencies? Here's a list.. We have a right to know who viewed are list of medications and be notified immediately. Additionally, a Doctor can place statements in your CVS patient profile that is not true. So my advise contact CURES and tell ask them to notify you when someone has viewed your profile. Complain to HIPPA that they need to change the law and have a way that when people view your profile your notified immediately. I know there is an opioid pandemic but should all consumers who struggle with real pain be subject to this harassment! read more

I looked for some munchies for myself but they were out of the one I wanted. I looked at some frozen dinners but I found them higher priced then at the store. I went to look for a birthday card for one of my brothers. I found one that had a Happy Face that played music when opened. I used a CVS coupon for $5 off. I paid $1.13 at the cash register. I had a prescription sent in on the 20th of Sep and I sent it in early with the expectations they didn't have stock and would need to order so it would be available by the 25th. It's now Oct 1st, no one picks up the phone and I ran out of my very important medication. Seriously 11 days and still can't fill the damn perscription?? So I try to accommodate for them so they have to for me when I need it and I just get blown off? What kind of business is CVS running that can't even deliver on their promise to get the medications to someone who needs it daily. I was shopping like normal customer and a worker named Hayley Van Dyk was threatening to kick me and my friends out of the store because we set a product down in the wrong, we politely moved it back and she kept up her rude and passive aggresive tone, afterwards she kept follwing and targeting me and my friends. She was unescessarily rude and the way we were treated made me feel very unsafe as a minor, I was going to purchase a mascara but after the expirience i didnt want to. Worst cvs and pharmacy I've been to by far. Just moved to the area. Before I regularly had my prescriptions refilled every month. No delay. One came through fine but work night so didn't have a chance to pick it up. Second was available called doctor he said no worries and he called it in. Then I call them back abs they said well your doctor said he wants us to hold this for 3 more days before its released to you even though its ready and within the time. I've got bad anxiety and who the hell are they to do this? I cake my doctors office and they said they did no such thing. I called back and they said well that's what they ordet says. I was furious but thankfully I had a couple days extra to get me through. I called 3 days later they said another hour. A few hours later I stopped by they had it and I said what about my other one. They said we don't have it hear. Then why does it show you do right here on the app? They gave me a story that it was at my old city which I confirmed it wasn't. So now I went back in the site and had them ship it from their exact address. In a time of covid and high stress who are they to mess with people like that? They all deserve to be fired and I will be filing a complaint with corporate. I've never experienced this ever and I've been a cvs customer for nearly 20 years. read more

I called the pharmacy today 9/25 waited on hold for 25 minutes hung up an I called back thru the provider line to see if they would the pick up, they sure did Vietnamese girl name gaby answered so I asked her about transferring a medication that my provider had sent to the wrong CVS ! An she responded ur calling the provider line so I said yes because no one answers the regular line. An she said there's no way u waited that long an hung up. So I decided to personally go in person. there she WAS NOT ONLY IS SHE RUDE ON THE PHONE SHES ALSO RUDE IN PERSON I hope the manager reads this so they can properly train their staff for CUSTOMER SERVICE !
