Not a fan at all, the security person would not answer any questions and was not friendly. Later I saw her mocking the customers and acting like they were just annoying and not paying customers. Location on 983 Washintong Ave. Miami Beach. FL. I have been living in the neighborhood for over 10 years and am very happy to have that CVS across the street from me. I have been a regular, loyal customer since the day it opened. I went yesterday, with my own shopping bag, as usual (since I am reducing my use of plastic). Got myself a few items, went to the cashier, paid and left. I noticed police officers at the door while I was leaving but didn't pay more attention to it. Walking back home, I decide to turn around to make a quick stop at the ATM, the bank of America being right across the CVS. I am finally on my way home, when, to my surprise, 2 police cars are waiting for me in the parking of the bank! The 2 police officers then tell me that there was an incident at the CVS and that the manager MARIVY had called them to report a theft! And had told them I might be stealing from the store, there was obviously no proof of such a vicious accusation but she still told them that she would rather me not to go there anymore!!!! I am livid! Flabbergasted! How dare she? This is so disrespectful and uncalled for! A total defamation. I called the headquarter, an investigation is in process. Waiting for their call back. I will take this kind of discrimination and accusation as far as possible. This is unacceptable!!! read more

Cvs is cvs, they are all the same. The one thing that sticks out for me is the smell. It smells like mold. I'm not sure if that's the theme out here In Miami Beach as far as businesses go but I think it's unacceptable. Especially for a place like cvs. Im eating my ice cream and it smells like mold. Perfect stop for essentials. Being a tourist its great to find a simple store with a large trial size area.

Two stars cause of the large variety they display. But customer service is horrible. Out of all the cvs stores I've been too even when cvs use to be called Arbor drug store, from east to west coast this store lacks customer service! If u can't find something ur out of luck. When u need to cash out I recommend you bring a book to read cause you'll be in line waiting and waiting...Sad but true! read more

Bad customer service: employee named Lovelie (sorry if the spelling is wrong) overcharged me by scanning one product 3 times instead of 2. When I came back for a refund both her and the store manager behaved as if I owe them something trying to make me feel as if it's my fault. None of them apologized as well. read more

Good prices on everything you need while in South Beach, the staff is all Cuban lol. Also they scan an in-house CVS card if you don't have one, so you get a perpetual discount. I think they know the out of towners...yay for South Beach read more

This CVS is SO much better than the Walgreens that is 1/3 block away. The store is clean, organized, and has a good selection of items of all sorts. . . . and that's all I have to say about that. read more

Ehhhh.... this is kind of a meh store. They have tons of stuff, including food, but its quite poorly organized. Had a hard time finding crackers to go with the brie we bought up at the Art Deco market. Did have an ok beer selection. Its also pretty dirty and run down, although given the sheer volume of folks that pass through I suppose that's not surprising. Still, when we checked out, the cashier looked like she'd rather be anywhere but there. If looks could kill everyone in that store would have been dead and buried! And she didn't utter one word to us throughout the entire transaction. Same with the folks in front of me in line. Even my "have a nice evening" just got a death glare. Yikes! read more

Came here to use the Minute Clinic, signed in on the computer system, waited for a half an hour before asking at the pharmacy and being told that the Minute Clinic was closed because the "nurse couldn't come in today." And I guess nobody could turn off the computer or flip the sign on the nurse's door from Open to Closed. read more

Minute clinic in CVS AWSOME for the small emergency or flu shots. My husband went to this clinic in CVS last week. He had had a Sinus infection, then chest cold leaving him with pain and pressure in his ear. Finally, After seeing an ad we decided to try it. Located in the back near the pharmacy easy to get to. We used the touch pad to sign in, He had a short wait while one person went ahead of him. The very nice nurse practitioner saw him. She looked in his ear then used an instrument and checked behind the eardrum to determine there we no infection just fluid trapped. Leading him out to locate the appropriate Medication he needed. Telling him to return in several days if it didn't work. It is working so we may not to need to go back. No payment needed when using the Medicare card! or insurance. Just credit card back up. Very impressed, and we feel relief knowing we have someplace clean and convenient for illness or minor injury. read more

Sharon the minute clinic nurse was rude, aggressive and condescending when faced with Minute Clinic questions (which were not even directed at her). Was told repeatedly that this is a touristy store as a way to brush off my inquiries - I live here. Pharm staff only slightly less rude. read more

Better prices and selection than the Walgreens around the corner. Huge store, beer, soda, suntan lotion, and anything and everything you could need for a few days in Miami. Pretty clean and spacious as well, a lot better than I'd expect in a tourist zone. read more

Clean, well-lit, organized shelves, no crap lying on the floor, merchandise not stacked to the ceiling. Staff is really helpful and friendly. Tons of tourist though! A much better choice than the Walgreen's across the street always a mess and no customer service skills. read more

I stopped by CVS with the intention of using the restroom and then purchasing a few items. I was refused access to the restroom so I refused to buy anything from this store. The lady that I asked, who seemed to be a manager, was also rude about it. read more

I was on vacation in Miami and had to get my TB test read within 72 hours. I got to CVS minute clinic at 5:32 pm as soon as they had closed (closed at 5:30 pm). The health care professional (didn't catch her name) was on the phone for like 5 min on what I assume may have been a personal call even though the door was opened and so I assumed perhaps they were still open for a bit longer. I was cutting it close to get my TB test read and when the nurse came out she said they were closed and she had already timed out for the day and legally she couldn't read my TB test. I was really disappointed because I used to work for CVS and I thought customer service was at the top of their mind. Needless to say, she asked me to come back at 8:30 am the next morning to stand in line for 30 min before they open at 9 am. My 72 hour timeframe to get my TB test read expired at 9:30 am the next morning so knowing it would cut it close she still didn't read my TB test. I ended up having to walk 40 min to MedRite Urgent Care on 41st street where they read my TB test and were super nice and helpful! I recommend going to MedRite Urgent Care for your medical needs; it's worth the long trek! read more

Don't go to this Minute Care or pharmacy. It's shockingly bad. I turned up today and say the Physicians Assistant / Nurse. She told me no wait and to register. As I did so a man appeared with a large dog. The system confirmed no wait time but 10 Mins later she closed the door with the man and dog inside. Another 10 Mins passed and she opened the door and apologized and I asked why she would allow a dog into a sterile and clean surgery. She told me she agreed but now needed to clean it due to the dog. I told her it was digraceful. I then went to a Fast care medical office and was diagnosed with pneumonia. I returned to fill the prescription as a matter of urgency and stood waiting for the pharmacist for 10 minutes while she was on the phone giving advice to someone. She then looked at me and said "yes"? I explained I urgently needed the meds as in had pneumonia .. her reply was "I am closing and can't do it now"... I pleaded with her as did my partner given the severity of my pneumonia and I was barely staying out of hospital and all she said was "no I am closing"... rude .. no care and quite frankly a horrid selfish woman. This woman should be in and role to care for people. Had she got off the phone 10 minutes earlier I would have had my meds. Don't go to this pharmacy or Minute Care - your wasting your money ... it's not a medical care based business .. see real professionals and hope one day that rude bitter and twisted pharmacist needs help and care and gets the same treatment ... shocking experience read more
