Our hotels AC went down just before bedtime. Walked to 3 different stores (CVS) and they didn't have any. A total nightmare to be trapped in a hotbox of a hotel with no fans available in the early hours of the morning. Marie helped us out and looked in backstock for a fan. Sure enough they had 1 Lasko box fan left. She was super nice and was empathetic about our hotel issue that we were experiencing. This saved our night and we are grateful. This rating is purely based on two employees working here, specifically Adrianna Harley Quinn (from her name tag) and her manager on the day of my visit on 8/19/22 in the morning. She wins hands down for having the nastiest attitude I have ever encountered with an employee at any store in my entire life. Because I accidentally entered in the wrong phone number for my rewards, she very nastily told me I don't have an account. When I said it was a mistake and I wanted to re-enter the number she just sighed loudly over and over as she did whatever she had to do to get the screen back up so I could try again. When I was reentering the number she mumbled something and rolled her eyes, shifting her body weight side to side as if I was inconveniencing her and taking up her precious time. When I told her she didn't have to be so snotty and suggested she get a better attitude her manager came over and asked her what was going on. Adrianna replied in Spanish so I didn't understand but her manager obviously was fine with whatever she told her and just stood there and stared at us as if we were doing something wrong. I said it would be nice to have some decent customer service here and got no response from either of them. I ended up going to CVS further away to avoid having to experience that disgusting behavior again during my trip. Please Walgreens, visit this location and teach these ladies the basics of common manners. I would suggest teaching them some customer service but they didn't even have the decency to treat us with any courtesy whatsoever. read more

The first didn't understand, and just said that they were out, even though I asked in both English and Spanish. Beyond rude manager! Visiting US i took a cab from my hotel to by cigarettes here. I didn't know you have to have ID to show you're over 18 ('m in my 60s!) I was very distraught as i don't walk around with my passport. Then i remembered i had a photo of my ID passport [age on my phone! But this was not acceptable to the very young (20 odd?) manager! Not only that, he mimicked my stammer when talking to me. Devastated by his rudeness, Don't believe it to be how americans behave. But people like that should NOT be managing stores. In a high tourist area, it was hard to find a travel size section in this location. They were scattered throughout the store, but mostly hidden in the area everyone was waiting in line for, but even still, items I was looking for weren't there. Coke cooler upfront wasn't working, it was off or not working, everything in it was warm. Store has a confusing layout, seems like every one is different in South Beach. Horrible and rude cashier. I tried to use my loyalty card and she told me I already paid. She refused to give me credit for the sale. She said it's because I inserted my credit card. No, they always ask for the Walgreens card. She never asked. Worst part was when she called over the manager she explained everything to her manager in Spanish. They conducted the whole conversation in front of me in Spanish. After a few moments of this I just left and said I had no idea what they were talking about. I live a block away. I don't speak Spanish. I had no idea if they were discussing my transaction in front of me while totally excluding me. It was rude at best. I've had it, Walgreens. This is one of the worst Walgreens I've been to. It's crowded and the lines for the register are horrendous. I couldn't believe how slow the staff at the registers are. I took advantage of the slow lines to pick out a souvenir magnet. Maybe that's why they are extra slow -- so you can pick up extra crap while you're waiting. Maybe I was lucky, but on this last stay in Miami decided to walk a little farther down Collins to avoid the dirty, disorganized and extremely busy pharmacies in Lincoln. You'll always need sunblock, water, the eventual six-pack, snacks and toothpaste; not only this Walgreens has it all, but on top of it an extremely helpful and friendly staff. The building in itself is an homage to the Art Deco movement, a beautifully crafted piece of architecture. Inside, products are well displayed (unlike the battleground of the stores at Lincoln), and since the space is divided in two floors(pharmacy first floor), it saves you time, as you won't have to drift around looking for what you need. read more

I was scammed on my birthday morning no less when I stopped in after an early bike ride for a packet of dental floss. It was a travel day and my motive was to break the $20 bill I had with me to get smaller bills for tips. I handed the cashier the bill, and she brusquely slid change diagonally across the counter at me requiring me to step aside as the next customer stepped up. On picking up the change I found only two 1-dollar bills and a penny. I complained and without a word she called the manger who after counting admitted to finding the register off but said there were no 20-dollar bills inside! To make matters worse a drifter with alcohol on his breath behind me (at 9:23am) lashed out at me verbally for accusing the cashier with a "get over yourself already, lady!). read more

I went to this Walgreens during the Gay Pride Festival last weekend. I purchased items there and then really needed to use the restroom. However, both bathrooms were "out of service." I went to the manager and asked how both bathrooms really could conveniently be out of service. I don't know if it's illegal to close down bathrooms to customers, but it doesn't seem moral. She pretty much implied that they weren't out of service but that there were public bathrooms on the beach. Honestly, the fact that thee bathrooms are ALWAYS open and are all of a sudden closed on the same day as the Gay Pride festival tells me enough. I will never go back to this Walgreens due to the rudeness of this manager. I love Walgreens, but she is definitely ruining their image. I wish I had gotten her name. read more

This place deserves 0 stars. I mean I just can't comprehend how ridiculous my experience was here. Managers?? More like front end workers on the night shift that just stick a manager name tag on. Anne Marie and Kathleen ( i believe those are their names) were just beyond incompetent at their jobs. Both were extremely rude and kept repeating the same thing over and over again. I just wanted to do a simple return of one item with the receipt within 24 hours of purchasing. They refused to refund my money in the original form of payment becuase the receipt was faded due to their printer. On top of that, because I am not hispanic they thought it was ok to make derogatory comments in spanish about me. UHHH hello, I live in America, I speak spanish regardless of my skin color!
