Really big one-story CVS located in the busy, tourist thoroughfare of Lincoln Lane. Things are well organized inside with a large cosmetic section, and had anything that you might have forgotten on your trip. this is a very popular location that never have carts or baskets -- was told that the homeless had taken them regardless it makes it very hard to get anything other than a few items. The line at the pharmacy always takes forever. it's not 24 hours if they are closed from 12 PM to 2 PM. even the photo department takes a while to get an assistant to help. certainly doesn't feel like the employees fault, because they are all very pleasant when you finally get in contact with one. read more

We needed things for the room. Weird thing about MiamiBeach is that we could not buy alcoholic beverages at nine am due to some law. Ok. But I think we could buy it at I love Liquor per the concierge at our hotel at 9 am. The law states no alcohol could be sold before ten am. Ok. But besides that the CVS was exceptional. At the end of the Lincoln Road Mall, this CVS has the usual cosmetics and personal care items but there is also a huge selection of beach items. Very local stuff since we are right here on Miami Beach. Towels, beach toys, sun creams, etc. As well, coolers and drinks and snacks. We were in South Beach for 17 hours and we came to this store twice! Haha, this is the best place for a Canadian tourist to shop. We found lots of chocolates, candy, and snacks that we couldn't buy back home so we stocked up. We also bought two bottles of wine to bring on the cruise we were taking. My sister even has a CVS card for the times we travel to the US and get the discounts. After we paid the first time, there was a $1 off coupon on the receipt so we were able to use it for other items but not on the wine. There were lots of toiletries if we forgot anything but we were most focused on the snacks! The cooler was also stocked up on cold drinks and ice cream to cool off on a hot Miami day! The chocolates we bought even survived the 15 minute walk back to our hotel and didn't become a hot melted chocolate mess. read more

Big, clean and tidy store despite how busy it is. If you are a tourist, or in need of some touristy souvenirs, check this place out. They carry stuff like t shirts, bags, cups, etc printed with Miami Beach, coconut patties, alligator shaped gummies, taffy, key chains, magnets... but less expensive than the other tourist shops nearby. Not to mention stuff like sunscreen and other things you forget to pack. They also have fresh fruits, as well as fancy chocolates, and more healthful snacks you may expect in Whole Foods. If you shop here you aren't necessarily stocking up on junk food. There are self check out counters which can help you get out faster. read more

If you're looking at this before about trip planning good on you. Down a couple blocks is Walgreens, DONT GO THERE. They have way higher prices for beer, wine, and water. Still this place costs more than grabbing your beer and snacks at the 7-11 next door. If you do go here get a CVS card and scan for coupons. I understand why the prices here are high but if you are here on vacation or even business every penny you save you can put toward something awesome. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised during my visit to this CVS! The pharmacy was just wonderful. The tech who assisted me was extremely helpful and even helped me find a coupon for my medicine. While picking up my Rx, I needed to get a few hair products and was very pleased with the assortment. While slightly more expensive than Target, the selection was just as good. This CVS is conveniently located on Lincoln Road between Washington and Collins, just 1.5 blocks away from the public beach entrance. The store is huge compared to most other CVS stores I've been in. They have all your standard drugstore offerings. Their food section is slightly larger than most other stores and offers a wide variety of snacks and prepared foods (sandwiches, sushi, etc.), as well as beer and wine, which makes it a great place to stop on your way to the sand. They even sell Krispy Kreme donuts which is a win in my book! This store has almost everything you would need for a nice day at the beach. The store obviously carries your standard beach essentials like sunblock, but also sells lots of clothing options like t-shirts, cover-ups, and hats, in case you forgot anything back home. You can even grab a beach chair if it's what you need! The staff is friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. There are only a few registers with employees, but there are 6 or 8 express checkout lanes to make life easier. The store is surprisingly clean given the traffic it receives daily, especially from people coming off the beach. Lastly, this location also has a Minute Clinic. I've never used this one personally but always see people (both tourists and locals) there waiting. read more

Evidently if you are German and really need some "Fuel" energy drink, this is the place to come and get it. If you don't know, Fuel is these tiny bottles of super-energy and the directions say you can go "moderate" energy by drinking half a bottle (about 2 ounces) or "Full" energy by drinking the entire mini-bottle. Well, the two Germans behind me in line were talking about some party (yes, I live in South Florida and instead of speaking Spanish like everyone else, I know German. Kudos to me) for which they obviously needed "Extreme" energy and were purchasing six bottles each. I hope they don't O.D. on Fuel, because CVS has just about everything, but it didn't look like they had emergency response personnel on staff. Then again, being where it is located, the cashiers may have special training I don't know about. read more

It's after 11 pm in a major metropolitan city and you need soemthign from the open cahin pharmacy, you're about to enter crazyland right? Not so fast. Everything seems to be working very well here at CVS with helpful, friendly customer service and a wide array of supplies not locked up under plastic lock and key. There is a wonton sea of the city's worst players and ills but its further down on Lincoln by the bus stop but even that, maybe it's the lights where Lincoln meets Washington and the accompanying lighted buildings that make it still seem fun, although with a whiff of Rio street madness. read more

Went into a blind-rage the other night trying to buy a six-pack of beer. Yes, I know you can't buy beer after midnight here but .... 1) they do not have any sort of signage to remind you of that or let the many many tourists know. (unlike at Walgreens) 2) I was in line by 11:45. All I wanted in the whole wide world was a beer after a VERY long day of work, but of course the cashiers were idiots and took their sweet time, and refused to ask a manager for help, and by the time it was my turn it was after midnight and they wouldn't sell me the beer. Meanwhile, at least 6 different employees must have walked by me, to do god knows what - cause they certainly weren't helping out the overwhelming line vs. incompetent cashier situation, and didn't mention to me that I know might not have the opportunity to purchase the only thing that I had in my arms. I do not lose my temper very often, yet when I got up to the cashier and he looked at me like I was an idiot and I didn't know if he wanted to see my id or what and then very slowly told me how sorry he was, I went into a cursing fit and walked out because I couldn't handle the idiocy of the people/customer service in this store. I realize this makes me sound like some sort of raging angry alcoholic, but it wasn't my first time waiting in a huge ass line at this store for non-alcoholic items also. Additionally, FORGET about trying to get someone to open any sort of security door to buy razors or whatever other "expensive" item they deem shoplift-worthy. It will take 20 minutes minimum to find an employee even if you go hunting around the store for them yourselves. WORST CVS EVER. read more

The actual CVS itself is always a mad house because it's on Lincoln Road. That being said, they have a massive selection for a CVS. They have lots of random beach stuff, groceries, definitely cater to tourists. They usually do a good job moving the line here. Some less than stellar specimens of humanity tend to frequent here, so mind yourself. The thing this CVS really has going for it is my quick tip: Minute clinic here is great for minor illness/immunization needs! Cheap services, even if you don't have insurance. A co-worker told me about the clinic in this CVS and how effective it was. After coming down with a common cold and not being able to beat it with over the counter medicine, I decided to put myself out of my own misery and get some medical help. I arrived at the clinic pretty early, signed in and waited about 15 minutes. The nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable. She gave me a quick check up, and was able to give me a diagnosis within minutes. She prescribed a medication, and recommended several over the counter medicines. Everything she told me to take worked like magic!! Within hours I was feeling so much better. I will never wait weeks to see a doctor. It's good to know, that if I have minor health issue I can go to this clinic and get treated right away. Very satisfied with their services!! Thank you CVS! read more

The young girls over in the beauty department were on their phones, it seems everyone is on the register. I don't know who's running the store, but there is a lack in management! One of the nicest CVS's I've been to. It is really big and clean despite the crowds coming in from Lincoln Rd. the register lines move really quickly. The self check out makes things go quick. There is a nice grocery section with fresh fruit, as well. We came in a couple of times to get gallons of water to replenish what we were sweating out. The Miami heat in July is brutal. read more

I went to CVS on Lincoln Road and I was surprised by a new customer service over there who gave me a big welcome smile. After that, she walked with me and my big list and help me with everything and introduce me a new lotion, shampoo, face cream, a CVS melatonin 12 mg wonderful!!! Collagen fantastic! Te best advice . I went back home very happy , she made me feel special with her Customer Service, I will be back soon and I will tell all my friends to look for Lilia, she is from Brazil but speaks English and Spanish as well . Rude and condescending manager. I went in to return a defective item that I purchased less then 30 minutes previous. I walked with my cvs bag in hand the manager looked at me and immediately tried to walk away. I stopped him and said my item was broken and I needed a refund to buy another one. He said without hesitation in a very thick Spanish accent, go up customer service man! And shooed me away. I then responded with where customer service? Other man! Congratulations for this store in Lincoln Road, taking care of an old people concern the best Customer Service. My mom, an old lady is 85 years old, went to CVS Lincoln Road. She was taken care of a sweet lady from BRAZIL that she has forgotten her name, but that still working over there. This polite and helpfull woman has led my mom in her arms to help her to find out the product that she was looking for in all over the store. She still helped on register product and after that she conducted my mom in the way of bus stop in front of CVS store to take her in a bus, and she watched over of all bags that my mom had bought. I went to the walk in clinic to get the right ointment for my face and arm. ( I had skin irritations and it went worse when I arrived in Miami.) walked in on Sunday around 10am, and the wait time about 5-10mins. :) I talked to the nurse practitioner Tanya and she was wonderful. Very professional and knowledgeable. They accepted my Aetna insurance too! As soon as I got to my hotel, I put the cream she prescribed me, and my rashes got less itchy in less than 1hr and I feel so much better! Love this CVS! read more
