Even though my doctor specified a large size bottle for my eye drop, the pharmacist decided to…read morechange it to 3 tiny bottles that I had previously asked them not to do. The small bottles are SO SMALL that I can't squeeze them to get the drops out. I picked the prescription up at the drive thru and pulled ahead because there was a car behind me. I looked in the bag and saw 3 boxes. Without opening any of the boxes I drove back around the building and said I couldn't manage these teeny bottles. They said they couldn't take them back even though the boxes weren't open and they had altered the way the prescription was written. It was suggested that I hire a home nurse to come twice a day for 3 months to administer the drops since I couldn't handle the bottles they substituted for what had been ordered. I would rate my experience as less than 1 if it was possible.

This review is related specifically to the folks in the pharmacy at the CVS on Broadway in Methuen…read more They are truly a horrible group of people (with a few exceptions). The most arrogant and hostile individual is the pharmacist herself. I don't know her name, but she is blonde. The attitude of the people toward their customers is horrendous. You are greeted with scowls each time you approach the counter. They do everything in their power to try to make you feel that they are doing you a favor by helping you get your medications. The pharmacy is in stark contrast to the rest of the store. Everyone else in the store could not be more helpful or kind.

I work for a doctor's office that implements e-prescribing. I have sent the same prescription in…read moretwice for a patient. The patient keeps trying to pick up her medication and is told that it was not called in. The computer tracks the e-prescribing, so we know it was done. Finally, in desperation, we called the pharmacy and were told that we need to re-send it AGAIN. And if it doesn't show up in 10 minutes, that we would need to call back and give the prescription over the phone. She would not just take the prescription over the phone at that time, and she promptly hung up on us. Ironically (or not), the very same pharmacy made one of our 90 y/o patients come in twice, because they pulled the same stunt with her. Tsk, tsk. not very good patient care.

If I could give less stars I would. This pharmacy never has prescriptions ready on time. I can't…read moretell you how many times they've chewed up my day. Example told me the prescription will be absolutely ready by 3 o'clock. I went to the pharmacy. Turns out can anybody guess prescription was not ready then they told me 330 I came back at 4 o'clock. It still was not ready so at this point I've been out for over an hour. They then told me 15 minutes. I waited around for the 15 minutes, went back up in 30 minutes. It still was not ready. This pharmacy is a joke. They cannot even give you adequate times when a prescription may be filled. They can't even approach the appropriate time within an hour of when they tell you the fill will be ready. I will be moving my prescriptions to Walmart. Maybe they can do a better job because this pharmacy clearly is either understaffed and incapable of giving appropriate times.

I really don't like visiting this store for a number of reasons, but I was in the area and needed…read moretwo items so rather than going back to the one in Salem, NH again as I was there yesterday, I went to the Methuen branch. I needed white socks and tshirts. All of these items are locked up in cabinets....REALLY? In Salem, there are rows of these items where I can peruse w/o glass and don't require to contact personnel in order to make a purchase. This is VERY inconvenient and what is wrong with this store? Are people stealing tshirts, socks, underwear and more? I believe that their batteries are also this way too. Finding someone to open the case was not something I wanted to do, so I just drove across the street to TARGET where I could find what I wanted and I could make the purchase on my own - the selection was less, but I was more than happy NOT to have to seek out someone with a key to make a small purchase. (Apparently the clientele between these two stores is very different or perhaps it is just the way that Walmart handles it or treats their customers - I do find it insulting that the store has to lock up things or perhaps it is just sad... :-( ) In looking at he reviews, I see that someone else has commented on items locked up tight and the hassle she had to get to the item of interest: Bad customer service experience I asked for help three times and nobody could get somebody with a key for something small I wanted in the glass cases. They made an announcement to the store and there was still nobody until one woman noticed I was waiting and went across to the store to get a set. I guess this store has a lot of mistrust with people having keys that nobody has one ---- This just stresses the fact that I will continue to visit other Walmarts if that is the store I need for an item and avoid the Methuen store if at all possible. I recall someone telling me about 20 years ago that they refused to go to this store also.

I just had a conversation with a "gentleman" (not) in the pharmacy on 142 Main St. in Salem NH,…read morethat has left my heart pounding and I'm shaking. I called to ask if they had a medication in stock, and was told that they didn't have it. I asked him if he knew when they might get it in stock and he flipped out on me. Bottom line, he had no idea. When I asked what I should do in place of my meds and he was incredibly rude. He told me it wasn't his problem and I should figure it out myself. I asked his name so that I could call corporate (although I didn't tell him that) and he refused to give it to me saying "You don't need my name!" I asked again and he responded "I said you don't need my name!" I asked again and got the same response and then he hung up on me. I have been using this pharmacy for over 30 years. For a good portion of that time, the pharmacy employees were terrific. Then all of a sudden, they were all transferred to other pharmacies and replaced by rude, inconsiderate, impersonal, arrogant, impudent....you name it, employees. I got off the phone, shaking. I did call corporate and was told by another guy that I wouldn't hear back for three days, "maybe more", but he was sending in a report to them about the incident. He wasn't very personable either, but at least he didn't hang up on me. I have no idea what to do about my medication. I called another Rite Aid in town and was told that they were out of the medication and couldn't find out the availability time because their "system is down since last Friday" which I have heard several different times in the last months. I am at a loss as to what I should do. My insurance only lets me get scripts from Rite Aid. Any suggestions are welcomed.
