If you are one of those people who, blinded by the ever-proliferating CVS and Walgreen's…read morepharmacies dotting the landscape, had forgotten what a REAL pharmacy was, Letourneau's will remind you right away. The store is small, but the moment I walked in, someone came to help me and spent a good ten minutes weighing different options for a waterproof cast sleeve with me. What's more, the fact that they carry just the sleeve I need for my two-year-old's broken leg has saved my summer. Thanks to them, we're back in action at the pool and the lake. This place is a perfect example of small-town-feel meets modern needs, coupled with superb customer service.

We have been happy customers of Letourneau's for years, and have purchased several handicap support…read moredevices (electric wheelchairs and lift, etc) from them. While such equipment can be a boon to the handicapped, a dependence on them makes their routine failure a real emergency. Thats when the real value of a committed, top-notch local vendor like Letourneau's becomes clear. One such incident (not the first) happened this morning, motivating this review: an electric lift failed on Saturday morning of a stormy weekend, and we sent a panicy email to Letourneau's. One of their heros (Luis) responded immediatly with a quick house call, and the device was back in service bybmid morning. Its hard to put a value on this level of support, but worth thinking about when you're choosing a vendor for something you'll depend on.

This Walmart always has everything you need and is always fully stocked but they have one major…read moreproblem...the store is always a complete sloppy mess. When I shop in this store (which is rare due to its condition) the shelves are always unorganized and a complete mess and there is always merchandise sitting on the floor in most aisles and displaced merchandise on the shelves. Its not that hard to keep a store of this size in an orderly fashion, by simply hiring minimum wage employees to continuously organize the shelving during the day shift. The management (at Walmart) should pay close attention to the condition of the Target store across the street. Target is always clean, employees are always in most aisles with 2-way radio communication with each other and every shelf in the store is in perfect order with the exception of holiday clearance areas (which is quite typical in any department store), Walmart managers....I suggest you start cleaning up your act or Target will put you out of business.

I really don't like visiting this store for a number of reasons, but I was in the area and needed…read moretwo items so rather than going back to the one in Salem, NH again as I was there yesterday, I went to the Methuen branch. I needed white socks and tshirts. All of these items are locked up in cabinets....REALLY? In Salem, there are rows of these items where I can peruse w/o glass and don't require to contact personnel in order to make a purchase. This is VERY inconvenient and what is wrong with this store? Are people stealing tshirts, socks, underwear and more? I believe that their batteries are also this way too. Finding someone to open the case was not something I wanted to do, so I just drove across the street to TARGET where I could find what I wanted and I could make the purchase on my own - the selection was less, but I was more than happy NOT to have to seek out someone with a key to make a small purchase. (Apparently the clientele between these two stores is very different or perhaps it is just the way that Walmart handles it or treats their customers - I do find it insulting that the store has to lock up things or perhaps it is just sad... :-( ) In looking at he reviews, I see that someone else has commented on items locked up tight and the hassle she had to get to the item of interest: Bad customer service experience I asked for help three times and nobody could get somebody with a key for something small I wanted in the glass cases. They made an announcement to the store and there was still nobody until one woman noticed I was waiting and went across to the store to get a set. I guess this store has a lot of mistrust with people having keys that nobody has one ---- This just stresses the fact that I will continue to visit other Walmarts if that is the store I need for an item and avoid the Methuen store if at all possible. I recall someone telling me about 20 years ago that they refused to go to this store also.

I have experienced phenomenal customer service every single time I have visited. The pharmacists…read moreand techs are kind, polite, and have always taken the time to answer questions or help with any problems I have. They are sometimes very busy, but the wait goes by quick, even when there are only one or two people working. I also love getting the occasional $5 target credit that prints out with my receipt!

Answer phone, fill rxs give 2000 vaccines to people, what the ??? This is CVS in Target Methuen Ma, 67 Pleasant Valley St. They have a sign up thay have a staffing problem, been up for months! My doctor faxed over 2 rxs on 12/20. Somehow got through on the phone, after much confusion if it was ready not ready, it was ready. Get to the store, no other customers. She was apparently filling a prescription for another client, says give her 5 minutes! I had the freaking flu with a temp of 101 and couldn't breathe, my scripts were ready, 2 inhalers because, again, I COULD NOT BREATHE, could not stop coughing. Went back on January 3, could not get anyone on the phone, find out my script isn't ready, suppose to be ready at 3:12, it was after 3:30, she was doing 3 or 4 things at once, not answering phone because I rang it for 20 minutes. It is now 3:40, only 1 client ahead of me in line, tells me she needs 10 more minutes. Oh yeah. This time I had PNEUMONIA THAT THE FLU DEVELOPED INTO AND THE RX WAS FOR AN ANTIBIOTIC! FOR THE RECORD I WAS MASKED?, OF COURSE. THIS "UNDERSTAFFING HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR NEAR 3 YEARS AND IS UNACCEPTABLE! IF YOU CAN'T STRAIGHTEN OUT THE PROBLEM, CLOSE THE HELL DOWN! I'M GOING TO RESEARCH AGENCIES TO REPORT THESE JOKERS TOO - BOARD OF REGISTRATION IN PHARMACIES FOR OPENERS!AND OTHER STATE AGENCIES AS WELL!!!!!

This morning I had the rudest pharmacist I have ever encountered in my years at Walgreens in Salem,…read moreNH. I switched due to the virus because Methuen has a drive thru and I have nothing great to say about this pharmacy. Salem has the best and I may take my life in my hands but I will probably switch back. Today I waited 15 minutes and when the person answered the phone she said please hold and waited until the phone disconnected. When I finally reached the pharmacy and explained that Tuesday the person at the window told me I had to wait until Friday the 14th to get my prescription. They had given me 14 pills meaning I had 9 days. I don't know what happened but I have two left for tomorrow. Now she rudely told me I should have had enough. I can't explained what happened but I was told by the other person that they would be ready today. Now I have to wait her attitude was horrifying and to a 77 year old - the respect was nil. She wanted to get rid of me very quickly before I had chance to ask a question about my husband. I lived in Methuen and used Rite Aid with Paul and Joe and I never was treated as badly as this pharmacist did. This should not be tolerated as a customer and as an elderly person who had bad arthritis and depends on her meds. In this time of turmoil we should not be treated in this fashion. I have written Walgreens in Deerfield with hopes that documentation will prove that not all pharmacists are made to treat individuals. They should just fill the orders.
