The pharmacy sucks. I didn't realize I scheduled for this CVS otherwise I would have cancelled. My appointment was at 230 pm and it's 3 pm now. I have work and nobody has even come out. What a waste of time. I'm cancelling. Spare your time. So I left and went back to work, tell me why I got a record I got a shot in my left arm?! I already made an appt with Walgreens since the doctor at CVS never came out. This has to be illegal! I called and the doctor claimed they were prepping my shot!! For 30 minutes!! This is a reflection on CVS, all locations. We are switching to ANY other pharmacy asap. You get notifications a prescription cannot be refilled yet and you have NOT called it in to be refilled. You can't call, the recording burps and won't do anything, stores and corporate. I can't get them to remove a prescription, they say they can't see it YET I get texts messages about it constantly. On and on and on. You finally (whew) get ahold of someone and they cant do a thing to help. I am done. read more

I want to know why this store and this store only has hours posted on the time they close but they never ever go by those times. I literally have been here at 7:03 on a Friday evening with the doors locked and so I call because there's at least 4 employees inside that I can see and I get told, well we actually closed 3 mins ago. Went to CVS to get my immunization record updated. There was a lady at the window who decided to ignored me then she left. A guy came to the window did not greet me at all. He Lois mad and all angry. I told him what I need and gave him my shot record. He looks it up on the computer and just keep typing. Finally he asked another person done question. Then he throw my shot record back to me without saying anything or explained why he did not put my 2nd booster. I was about to asked him a question but he walked away. I finally this morning, got through to this pharmacy and talked to the most helpful person,Kayla (so?). She is the first pharmacist at CVS who wasn't rude and actually was helpful. The interesting thing is she isn't usually at their CVS. You see I recently moved to the area and needed to transfer medications from my previous pharmacy. Every time I needed a prescription filled and used the app there seemed to be no problem. After a day or two if the prescription did not appear as filled I would call the pharmacy. Anytime I call this pharmacy it has been at minimum a 20 minute wait. Then every pharmacist until today has been rude and unhelpful. I had to call three different times this week about a prescription that was transferred on August 23. Each time was a 20 minute wait before a pharmacist picked up. Now I understand that theses are trying times but until today I was met with rudeness, attitude and was rushed off of the phone. And still after a week my problem with transferring prescriptions isn't resolved. This tells me there is a problem with training and management at the CVS on Yosemite store #7206. I have not had this problem at the CVS where I lived nor when I have traveled to other areas. The pharmacy at Yosemite in Merced needs to get it together and at least have basic manners. This is the closet drug store to my house. I am changing pharmacies and will drive far out of my way to avoid this CVS. There is always a line of at least 4 people and only one cashier working. There are never enough staff on hand to help customers (both at the register and on the floor). I've seen employees call for help, only to be told by the manager that they are on their own. The employees get aggravated when someone has to ask for help more than once/gets impatient (and you always have to ask for help more than once). Since many items have to be unlocked for purchase, customers do need help. I've had the manager wait on me and she is slow and doesn't care about customer time or service. The employees are nice, but the management of this store is awful. The store is also dirty. read more

Hours are incorrect online for the Pharmacy and the store. I usually only come here to pick up medicine and most times I've came usually from 1-3pm or 6-7 pm the drive thru is closed. I guess the store is decent, most general items are way to pricey. You do get a really long receipt that's cool, i guess, if that's helpful. read more

I am on hold on two different cell phones trying to get the pharmacy department. Been on hold for over 20 minutes. I am so livid right now as I write this review. I don't know who the heck AJ is but he states he is the pharmacy manager. The time that he took to tell me that they are down three people that is why the prescription that got dropped off at 0900 this morning still had not been filled. I told him the time he took to explain to me all of that he could have been filling the prescription already then he had the nerve to tell me that he's actually multitasking and I shouldn't be telling him if he is or is not doing his job. He said I have options. I stated that my parents do not have any other options, they are elderly and this is the closest place to their house so to please fill it as soon as possible. He stated he explained this to them when it was dropped off. I stated that there was no them. It was my sister who dropped it off before going to work but I have never heard of a prescription being filled and it taking more than 30 minutes. He then agin went on to explain that he had already explained this to them this morning. I thought Walgreens was bad, CVS is the shittiest of shit. Excuse my French. I cannot believe the way he spoke to me on the phone. Lucky he was behind the phone. I bet he would not be talking like that to me in person. He's lucky I'm hours away or else I would have went in person. Had to give one damn fucken star to rate this fucken piece of shit place. I have also filed a complaint with the board of Pharmacy in the state of CA. I didn't know that being a pharmacist meant to have no compassion and not allowing me to finish talking as he over talked me and gave me such poor customer service. I was told after a wait that they were not accepting new patients and could not fill our order. I came into the pharmacy exactly 5 minutes before 9 which is when they close and the pharmacist assisting me said that in order for them to take my insurance for my prescription I had to wait until the next day because it took 5 minutes for them to input it into their system and 5 minutes to show up I said I didn't mind waiting, the pharmacist over heard and said that they could no longer do it because they closed at 9! Not until I told them that they were both contradicting each other and that if I got sick because they couldn't give me my medicine it would be on them did they do input my information on the system. Apparently even if your here before they close they don't want to help you! Worst pharmacist ever read more

The girl at the desk said it was a separate script and after I already waited two hours it would be another two hours for someone to put four syringes in a bag. Got a tooth pulled, came here for my prescription for antibiotics and pain pills. Stupid dentist prescribed some kind of penicillin, which I'm allergic to. Oh joy. Didn't figure that out till after I paid and got home. Walgreens has this thing where the computer will let them know if any of your medications will bring about any allergic reactions, guess they don't here. So the pharmacy gets 2 stars, but I shop here often and have a Care Card, which sometimes gives dollar bill increments off my purchase, so it gets another star. Pricey compared to Target, but can't beat the convenience. read more

If It was possible to give a negative rating this pharmacy would have a -5 (negative 5). They are the absolute slowest. It never changes!!! Time after time they fail to meet the promise time or even day for the simplest refills and give ridiculous reasons that just inflame the situation. Just count out 30 little pills and tap a few keys on the computer. They don't have to call the doctor, insurance is all set too. We always give them 5 days lead time and still nothing is ever ready by the promise time. If you want to waste your time making multiple trips to the pharmacy then this is your pharmacy. If you have any hope of not making multiple trips to CVS on Yosemite Parkway to get any and every prescription then have your meds called in to Walgreens, RiteAid, Target, Costco, grocery store or any other pharmacy. We live within a mile of this location so it would be nice to be able to use this pharmacy but no more. Obviously, CVS Corporate could care less or they would do something to improve the situation. I am happy to see a CVS here! The staff was nice and as I wandered the store looking for deals I felt welcome. Every staff member I came across was friendly and genuine and one of them went out of their way to help me find the price of an untagged item. CVS has opportunities to save money and as I showed my niece how to save money on make up no one made me feel cheap. We spent enough to get beauty bucks and she saved enough want to come back. While I am not a local I will be sure to get my supplies here next time I am in town. read more

The store is clean and neat. Friendly people but the pharmacy is just bad. Bad is in bad not bad as in "cool". 3 of the female staff seem to always have an attitude. They have lost my prescriptions a few times and end up calling my doctors for new ones. Some are Hispanics and according to them, don't speak Spanish to non-English speakers which is a lie because I caught speaking the language. They also speak English to people that understand English. I also caught them talking on the low judging people for how they are dress and look. This is why I sign up to yelp and to let every1 know the kind of people are serving our prescriptions. The CVS Pharmacy on Yosemite parkway has the WORST customer service ever, rude, and a few of the girls with attitude need to go!! I was at the drive through window she tried charging me $180 for 1 prescription, I explained it's always $18 and with attitude she said I needed to come in, go to counter another lady rudely says sit down, then I get another lady she tried charging me $280 and i ask where did she get that dollar amount especially after the window lady gave me a different amount? She got bitchy and told me (not ask, told) to sit down again, I said no I want to talk to the pharmacist.... to make a long story short it ended up being $18 as I knew it should be!! Don't bother with this place!! The first time I ever walked into this place the girl at the register (pharmacy) was just rude. They said my prescription wasn't ready to no fault of their own so I went home. The pharmacist Chong called me but they didn't leave a message, I had to google the number to make sure it was the pharmacy's number before I called back. Chong answered and he was also very rude. I will be switching back. If you're going to a pharmacy chances are you or one of your loved ones is sick. The last thing you need is people with an attitude giving you more grief. If they hate their jobs so much maybe they need to re think what they're are doing. The pharmacy staff at this location are very rude and do not know what they are doing. My husband picked up my daughters prescription. After I open the bag, I noticed the medicine was still in powder form and was not mixed at the pharmacy. After I contact the pharmacy, "Chong" places my on hold for several minutes twice during our conversation. What irritated me the most is that he placed me on hold while I was in the middle of my conversation! Prior to this incident, I drove out there to pick up my prescription but it wasn't filled due to insurance questions yet they didn't have the courtesy of giving my a simple phone call. What's the whole point of writing down your contact information on the prescription like they ask you to if they won't even use it??? BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I have been a long time customer of CVS on Yosemite Pkwy. The customer service in the pharmacy is absolutely awful. The staff seems as though it is painful for them to assist me. There are so many hiccups and little jackass rules. I find that I walk away without medicine more times than I do with meds. The automated phone system is really bad. If there are issues with something, which there always seem to be, they do not notify. It is up to me to resolve everything. The rest of the store is also a mess. Clutter and junk everywhere. The floors are always nasty. The place just sucks. I will be finding anew pharmacy very soon. read more

My wife and I stopped by to pick up her prescription and we decided to by our grandson a set of head phones. When they went to ring it up the price was almost double, we said something and were told we would to take them to the front. Went to the front and told same clerk that had opened the case for what had happened. He agree and told older dark haired lady he needed and over ring. She proceed to tell him that she had to check it first, I finally walked back and showed her where they came from. After it got rung up and paid for I ask for my little CVS card back and the clerk said "I already gave it to you. I told him no you didn't. Was told yes I did. " I walked out without my card, I will now go to the other store tomorrow and get another one. Yosemite Parkway Store will now only see me for prescriptions and then only if we don't pull them from you. Sorry but I do not want to be treated like that. read more

I've had nothing but trouble with this pharmacy. almost every prescription they can't get it filled in the time that they say they will get it filled. But yet their automated will call you and tell you it is ready and then you go down there and they have nothing for you. It is a constant headache with the pharmacy. The staff is very rude and careless. They do not listen to you when you talk. When you're trying to tell them something they simply are not listening. They have made it to where they have messed up my prescriptions to where I have not been able to pick them up weeks out from when I should have, because they tried putting a tar on my prescription when I never asked them to. I honestly believe someone should go in there and see what they're really up to. I do think they're up to no good. something's not right with the staff. I can just imagine how many other people have suffered through missed dosages and loss of pills do to whatever they're doing down there. read more
