If I could do no stars I'll do that. This might sound harsh but yeah they are the definition of worthless at the pharmacy. I should off read the reviews before getting my medication sent there. I've been there the day my prescription was prescribed and it wasn't ready mind you it was hours after it was prescribed. I've been there 2-3 days after it was prescribed and it wasn't ready. I been there a week after i got a message saying to refill my prescription but never getting a message about it being done. And it still wasn't ready. All this times I had to wait 30-1hr... All you get is a bunch of sorrys and no accountability for what's going on. Do better Walgreens. read more

This should be a two-star review, because this Walgreens was just about the saddest I've ever seen. They had the said yellowish lighting, the aisles of banged up goods, and the feeling of despair was thick enough to touch. I'd hate to come to this place to work at anytime, but to do it on a daily basis? Whew!!! But they have the third star because I walked away with the makeup pads that I was looking for. That's the only reason why they get the extra star. But this store was hard to find/get into and once I was on my way out, the relief was palpable. Merced Walgreens is horrible!! Rarely do they have the meds I am prescribed . I have to call around myself to find out which pharmacy has the meds my physician prescribed then I have to get ahold of my physician and tell her that Walgreens in Merced doesn't have the med but a different Walgreens such as in Atwater or Turlock does. They don't follow up with meds they say are on order, the PATIENT has to call them to remind them to fill your prescription. I always get lip service, we don't have it now (a week later) call tomorrow and ask if we got the med in stock!! Walgreens is HORRIBLE read more

Essential prescription and it takes them 2 weeks to fill it. Came in every 3 days and each time it's like they are surprised o learn it's not been filled, take no responsibility, don't apologize, and treat me like it's my fault. Thought, okay, this might be a fluke but happened again the following my month. Tried to change my pharmacy but the doctor was out of town so thought, okay another try. They filled it. I thought, okay maybe they've figured it out. Next month? Nope. Another 7-10 days to get it filled. Save yourself the stress, trouble, and time. Go elsewhere. Anywhere else but here. (Waits are also absurdly long so each of those visits when it's not ready is at least an hour out of your day). Picking up subscriptions should not feel like an abusive relationship. read more

I've been on the phone now for an hour with the pharmacy trying to get a human being to speak with me. Every ten minutes I'll get a ring then a girl quickly picks up the phone and puts it back on hold. They've been hanging up on me for over an hour. if you are discharged from a hospital and you use Walgreens to have the prescription filled you might have to wait up to two days for it to be filled and forget using the automated phone line as I have waited up to 25 minutes to having been told I still had one call ahead of me so I used another phone and finally spoke to a tech who told me the same thing it's been worked on so I told her just be honest will it be filled today n she said no tomorrow so two days without a Ned that is very important to patient who needs it to regulate kidney function as patient stage 4 kidney failure. This is just like any other Walgreens, except..........you can actually get help! The staff is friendly and constantly walking around to ensure it's customers are there to find what they need. Aside from that, the inside is like any other walgreens I've been to. This was a nice little surprise for me when several employees asked if I needed assistance. read more

Almost every time I go to pick up my prescriptions from the pharmacy there is something wrong... I have never had so many issues consistently from a pharmacy! Something must be wrong with how the pharmacy is being managed because other pharmacies don't have these issues. There is always a long wait, often prescriptions aren't filled when they were ordered, or other things like that. I wish Merced had a Rite Aid with a drive through on this side of town!!! read more

I don't know if the pharmacy got a new management lately but the service is so inefficient. In average I have to make 2 trips to pick up my meds, is never ready at the time they tell you it would be. You have to wait in line just to find out that the meds are not ready yet. They also lost one of my prescriptions, didn't take responsibility for it. read more

My boyfriend has had continuous problems with this particular location. There is a pharmacy employee by the name of Cecilia who is one of the rudest people I've ever dealt with. First she refused to do HER job of faxing the doctor for my boyfriends prescription. Then she was completely dismissive and rude today when we went to pick up his prescription. We got it only by asking and making sure it was the CORRECT one. And only after we asked for her name did she start becoming more friendly. Cecilia should be FIRED. read more

I dropped off my prescription & I was told to come back in 2 hours it would be ready at 5:00PM and when I returned they said they didn't have it in stocked and closed in 45 min. I give this store a kick in the behind even though I would love to be more verbal about the situation apparently this Walgreens the manager Elise broke my SD card while she was trying to assist me printing out photos had over 600 photos on that SD card my son's birth was on the SD card my daughter was on that SD card and now because Elise the manager didn't know how to use the machine my SD card broke in half because of her I implore anybody not to ask for this manager don't ask her for anything otherwise she might break something valuable to you too read more

I normally love shopping at Walgreens and using the app it saves me lots of money. Recently I bought pull ups and they gave me the wrong size. So when I noticed I went back to the store in Merced R st and a fill in manager helped me her name was Anita. First she told me I didn't pay for my items when clearly I had the tag on the bag and I had my purchase in my app. But for some reason she couldn't scan it. I showed her we're it had came out from from bank but I had to use my DL like I had no receipt. She was so rude when I asked for the manager she told me he was out. I told her I was gonna call customer service to file a complaint and she said I hope you do as with attitude. Who in management says that. needless to say I was not about to pay for more pull ups so I did provide my DL. This was just very bad customer service.she is very rude and unprofessional especially since she was actually training a new worker. I never even got the chance to tell her I had not even received. 2 stars because the woman was actually nice about it. I liked her she had good customer service. I called earlier to ask if I could return an Easter basket that isn't opened, and I have my receipt. On the phone she said yes so I said ok I'm just asking because here on G st Walgreens they said I couldn't. My family and I are new to this town. Mom recently had an injury and needed to take her prescribed medication. She came in and was not able to get her medication for the wrong document because its prescribed by workers comp (the paper she needed hasn't been received from the mail yet". The lady stated "Oh I don't need this paper". Next day we come in with the prescription, only to come back with a new lady stating "they needed the paper from before and that her prescription is a copy". Therefore my mom can't get her pain killers, again. Clearly on the Dr.'s note it said "this is a prescription". Idiots. She was rude and gave my mom a harder time by saying "well i wasn't here yesterday". So unprofessional. At least the staff could have said nicely that she needed the document from before (document so they know who to bill to". We had to go to CVS, we had a better and faster service there. I usually come only for photo prints. Last time i developed my old disposable cameras the quality was good. But when i made my order from the app for my phone pics the quality was horrible, the pictures were like zoomed in and they looked like if i had printed them at home and they looked way better in my phone, i called and they said that its because of how your phone takes your pics, it may be but i compared them with my 10 yr old disposable camera prints even the paper feels different. Next time im going to Costco even if it means i pay a little more. They should've offered a solution for this and i dont like arguing with people what i do is, i just wont go there for photos anymore and i wont reccomend others for it either. read more
