What I really liked is how she had it blend from my roots, which was a good call since I wanted to minimize the amount of damage already and to have something more low maintenance. She was flexible with my schedule as I work weekdays 8-5pm and am based in Fresno. My appointment wasn't until 530 but I was running a bit late and didn't get there till 6. My original appointment was at 2:00 p.m. While I was already on my way, since I live an hour away, she asked to move the appointment to 2:30. I was understanding about the change and didn't think anything of it. However, when I arrived and let her know I was there, I received no update from her about when she would be arriving. If her coworkers hadn't been there, I wouldn't have known what was going on. She arrived an hour after the rescheduled appointment time. Once the appointment started, it felt rushed and there was very little consultation throughout the trial. I had provided an inspo for a half-up hairstyle with glam waves, but the finished result looked more like loose curls and did not look like the inspo I had provided. The curls were already falling on the drive back, my hair was frizzing, and the "half-up" portion was very minimally secured with a bobby pin. My understanding was that I was paying for one completed hairstyle. I only wanted to try one style, and I've never heard of a trial where the style wouldn't be fully completed. If a trial isn't going to include the hairstyle being fully set, I feel that should be clearly stated before. Afterward, she refunded me part of what I had overpaid after I pointed out that the amount I was charged didn't match the price she had previously quoted me. I also had to send a detailed message explaining everything that had gone wrong before that adjustment was made. Even after that adjustment, I still didn't feel the final amount I paid reflected the service I actually received, especially since she later told me in our messages that my hairstyle hadn't been fully set. I booked the trial specifically to see how the finished style would look and hold for the wedding, so leaving with an incomplete style defeated the purpose of the appointment for me. After waiting another hour for her to arrive, I left feeling like I had spent several hours without actually receiving what I had booked the trial for. She did offer me one complimentary style for the day of the event afterward, but I declined because after the trial experience, I no longer felt comfortable relying on the service for the wedding day. I also explained my concerns afterward in detail, but I never felt like I received a real acknowledgment of the time I had been waiting, or how disappointing the overall experience had been. I'm sharing photos and screenshots so others can see the hairstyle I received and the poor communication surrounding the appointment.

I've been obsessed with the new hair trend called ombre - tonal color from light to dark or dark to…read morelight but was unable to find anyone in Vegas to do it. I had met Lourdes & Irma at a trade show last year and kept their card. I called & made an appointment with Irma. I sent her a picture of what I wanted and the color spectrum (shades of pink to burgundy with gold highlights intertwined). IT IS AMAZING! It's 5 days later - and I still cannot stop looking at my hair. Not only did she do the ombre, she blended it so there is a 'natural' transition between the colors. The ombre look (see photos) can be used with most any color combo. I chose pink to burgundy but I think for fall and winter I might do orange to brown. Irma was extremely professional and patient with me. She kept me involved thought each step of the process & Kept me laughing the whole time. Once I returned to Vegas, I've had at least 8 people ask me where I got it done & when I told them, they all said it would be worth the drive. I'm going back for a touch up in September and will be scheduling a mani/pedi with Lourdes while I'm there. I cannot say enough about how much I love my hair. Another thing I love about this shop is that it is locally owned. Shop Local keeps money in the community.
