I had such a great experience getting my eyebrows threaded here! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel comfortable. She was so kind, friendly, and easy to talk to, which made the appointment really enjoyable. Usually my eyebrow appointments are just a quick "hi and bye," but she took the time to chat with me and explain all of the services she offers. After my appointment, she gave me a loyalty stamp card and let me know my 6th eyebrow threading would be free, which I thought was a nice touch. I also really like that she's the only person who threads eyebrows here because she'll be able to see the progress of my brows over time and keep them looking their best. I told her I'd been driving to Atwater to get my eyebrows threaded, but it had become unreliable. I'm so happy I found her because she's professional, dependable, and truly cares about her clients. The Lotus hair salon is where I receive all my beauty services (nails, lashes, waxes & etc). I love Maria, she is always willing and ready to book me and is more than willing to adjust me to a specific time. I typically work 9-5 during the weekdays so she was kind enough to open her availability to two Saturday's of the month for her clients whom work during the weekdays! Maria always makes sure to give me a call whenever she has a cancellation as I am a faithful customer of hers. That is specifically why I continue to go to the salon. Excellent customer service is provided here! Maria is the only one who custom makes my press on toes! Geraldine is another amazing worker whom also contacts me whenever she has a cancellation and manages to fit me in! They DO NOT REQUIRE masks! They also do not do any any temp checks. There are no windows open for ventilation and door was closed. It was extremely stuffy. Half of the salon had masks, pretty scary especially on a busy day. They do not care to protect there clients, there are so many people that have conditions that can lead to death because of Covid-19. They could care less. They are laughing right along with these mask less customers! On another note-Geraldine is GREAT! She has such a relaxing atmosphere in her area, it is unfortunate that you must walk through that mess to get to her. First the instant stench of acrylic nail chemicals, then mask less clients, followed by hair dye chemicals. She should look into getting her own location. I will not be going back. read more

So I was searching through Yelp for a nail salon here in merced. Ive gone to Nail Time, BJ's Nails, Ruby's Nails, Rose's Nails and they just didn't do good enough for me to stick with. And I did give them each at least two tries. I came across Lotus Salon that caught my attention by its reviews. I messaged them through Yelp and right away Maria, the owner, contacted me. She was very nice and accommodating. I went in and she's really easy going and friendly. She did an awesome job on my nails. I told her I usually get basic nails and she showed me the platinum colors. I chose the one I wanted and I LOVE IT!!! Maria is a true artist!! After trying a couple other places and having disappointing results, I searched here on Yelp and found Lotus Salon. Maria was quick to message me back and I was able to get in the next day (today). I am going on vacation tomorrow and my nails need to be on point at Denver Pridefest and for my birthday. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she absolutely delivered way better than what I even anticipated. Her salon is clean and comfortable and she is just a pretty cool chick to have conversation with while I was in her chair. I am so relieved that I have finally found a new nail tech! I absolutely love this place! I have been going to this salon to get my hair done for almost 2 years with Brittany. Unfortunately, she moved but I am making my next appointment with Liz! I have seen her work when I go to the salon and it is absolutely beautiful. I have been getting my nails done with Maria and she is amazing! I always love my nails or hair when I come out of that salon. I am super picky on who touches my hair and who does my nails and I trust them with everything! Absolutely fabulous place! Great service, atmosphere, and music. Maria is the best nail technician I've run across in years, as well as she's very friendly! Vanessa provided a cut and dye for my daughter and we couldn't be happier! It was daughters first time having her hair colored, and Vanessa made us feel super comfortable by asking us questions and keeping us informed step by step in the process, as this can be a drastic change. After a month of having my hair down at Lotus Salon, I came back to have my eyelashes done by Yee. She was great! I love my eyelashes, and I would definitely recommend her 10/10. I also did my nails with Cat. She is amazing, and my nails are perfect! I rarely do my nails, and she exceeded my expectations. One last thing, I had my eyebrows done with Pree. She was so sweet and the whole process took less than 5 mins! I cannot recommend this salon enough to my friends. If you live in Merced, you must try this place. I felt like running out the door the entire time I sat in the chair. The stylist talked constantly to the stylist behind her the entire duration of my appointment. She even made jokes about my grey, and how she doesn't want to even think about getting old and getting grey. This trip was supposed to make me feel better about myself not have my age thrown in my face. Like it's a joke to age. Poor, rude excuse of a salon. Do not step foot in this dump! You will regret it. Maria the nail tech is rude and arrogant. Was not courteous or personable during appointment. The entire time she spoke only about herself, she is very jealous of other nail technicians in town. She had mouthed a few while I was there, including Alison Nicole Nails Co. she feels inferior there for she must say these awful things about other local technician. She does so-so work, nothing special and VERY expensive. She also does not do any 3D, designs. it's basically just acrylics with polish and some bedazzle. read more

I got lash extensions with Lindsay & she does a great job, she's kind and patient and willing to work with your schedule to find a time for you! I also got a nail fill from Shea and she was great! First off this salon is so cute! The decor and environment is welcoming and so nice! I haven't gotten my hair done here but my lash lady Jazmin is THE BEST. She's super efficient with an affordable price for amazing quality lashes! Like I said never had my hair or nails but the women are very friendly and they're always tending to clients when I show for my appointments so I'm sure they're great stylist and nail techs! This place is dirty, dingy, and the apparent paint makeover did not go well. The furniture is dated and looks like it came from the trash. Even the floor looked as if it hadn't been mopped in weeks! Disgusting. Nail area is messy, unorganized and even the magazines were from years ago. The pedicure area was basically a bucket on the floor with semi cool water. No massage. Nail polish chipped away within hours. What should have been a relaxing experience ended up being a waste of time and money. read more

Found this salon about 9 months ago and now i will always go there for all my necessities! Maria always does my nails and of course I always love the outcome.
