This month I had a wedding on April 11 and I went to do a manicure two days before at the 8th , they did a manicure (jelly) and pedicure jelly too and removed my mustache total $95.00 plus $10 as a tip. The first time I went they did a bad job at jelly French manicure within two days one of my nails got chipped and I went back two days later and they told me to come to the next day and the lady was not nice, I decided don't come back but I made a big mistake and I went again because I wanted to give them another chance and I shouldn't. My nails started chipping in about two days, I was very busy I couldn't go back sooner, but when you do the check in they send you a message, so I messaged them let them know about the lausy job they did but they didn't reply, I got really busy I couldn't go right away but the finger nail polish was falling like she just did a basic manicure but I asked her ( the owner) I wanted a jelly manicure and I paid for it $45.00 I have couple years doing jelly manicure I used to go with a lady that do a good job and last me untill I decided to have new color sometimes last a month and the polish never come out, this time come out very easy, so either she didn't do jelly stuff as I asked her or the owner didn't prepare the finger nail right or something happened because I'm about two days stared peeling off so I went to talk to her and she was just stared to do a manicure for a client and I explained to her when she sent the lady to wash her hands I was nice at that time but the owner had and actitud and told me to wait for her I thought ok I think she is understanding what is going on, when finally she finished after about 40 minutes she told me she couldn't do anything, really lady! You told me you couldn't do anything after I waited 40 minutes why she didn't say it before when I just came in and I explained to her. I felt insulted no body does that and I don't understand how they do a bad job and I saw people coming in all the time, made me believe that because I'm Latina it's why they treated me like that and they don't care the quality of service latinos get. I just saw another bad review but in that case the lady is Afroamericano. Anyways I feel sorry for people to get bad treatment from them they don't deserve our business, when I was living I told the owner written a review and never came back and she told me she won't appreciate my business too and I didn't look back but I heard a loud noise I think she shouted the door as soon as a leave because we were standing close to the door, she is rude she doesn't deserve any business. The salons owner Melissa who takes care of my nails is an absolutely fabulous conversationalist but you won't hurt her feelings if you say you just rather sit and listen to your music or surf the web on your phone. Sage who does my hair. She can do any kind of hair, color, highlights extensions. If you're a guy you need a haircut or a little kid you need a haircut then Sage is your person. You've got Denise who does waxes, eyebrows, facials and a whole host of other things. There are additional Hair & Nail estheticians in the salon but I just can't remember their names at this time. All I can say is as soon as they get it a masseuse in I will be spending my entire Fridays in there. Thank goodness they are all young, well young based on my age. This means they won't be retiring soon and I will have Melissa and the whole crew for a long long time. If you are time oriented and need an appointment they are perfect if you just need to drop in they are perfect but I do suggest you call ahead if you want to drop in because they are just that busy. And one more thing you get what you pay for. You go to a cheap salon where they push people through like animals to a slaughterhouse, you get sloppy jobs. You come here and you get a super professional job and well worth every penny to look as beautiful as you can be. I had met Lourdes & Irma at a trade show last year and kept their card. I called & made an appointment with Irma. I sent her a picture of what I wanted and the color spectrum (shades of pink to burgundy with gold highlights intertwined). IT IS AMAZING! It's 5 days later - and I still cannot stop looking at my hair. Not only did she do the ombre, she blended it so there is a 'natural' transition between the colors. The ombre look (see photos) can be used with most any color combo. I chose pink to burgundy but I think for fall and winter I might do orange to brown. Irma was extremely professional and patient with me. She kept me involved thought each step of the process & Kept me laughing the whole time. Once I returned to Vegas, I've had at least 8 people ask me where I got it done & when I told them, they all said it would be worth the drive. I'm going back for a touch up in September and will be scheduling a mani/pedi with Lourdes while I'm there. I cannot say enough about how much I love my hair. Another thing I love about this shop is that it is locally owned. Shop Local keeps money in the community.
