I literally cannot believe I paid for this service. The lady did a horrible job didn't even use builder gel she just put a big glob of regular gel polish, left it lumpy and just put paint over it. This place is usually "ok" and I've been here quite a few times. This was the last time. My mom and I got mani/pedi. Her mani turned out bumpy and she cut my mom's finger to the point she was dripping blood. Actually, GUSHING. We were calm and didn't ask for a refund, but we should have. My French mani was uneven. The lady rushed through it completely and at the end said "just to let you know some are uneven" like why are you telling me this after you're completely done? Why couldn't you have just don't the job correctly? If you are unable to perform a basic nail design then you shouldn't be taking customers. Never going back again. Bad vibes for sure. read more

Disgusting! I'm so pissed! When I walked in with my family and asked for a pedicure this is what I walked out with! Service was terrible! We could tell they didn't want to do our pedicure but did it anyways. The lady I had, made jokes of not painting my toes when I couldn't find a color (They didn't have much to choose from). Yes, I have really short nail beds but I've never had a problem with someone working on them. However, the lady I had was terrible! She barely clipped or removed the cuticle and basically half assed it! While my polish was wet she started to change the bag and even messed up on the toes. All she did was paint over it. After third and final coat she didn't even bother to clean around my toes to get it a finished look. She put top coat and got up and walked away! I was pissed! The lady working on my family member notice I was pissed and got up to try to help me put my sandals on to which I told her not to touch me! I got up and left. I came back not even 10 minutes asking for my refund! They made a scene and the lady who worked on me kept denying she did the work. However, I showed all the workers proof of her work and they agreed that it wasn't done properly. When I was told the manager would speak to me, she then denied saying she wasn't the manager and was only covering. She tried to offer me a gift card to which I declined and told her I was never returning! We went back and forth and I explained I didn't want to make a scene and all I'm asking for was my refund. The acting manager decided she would give me my refund but only after I told her I was adamant of never returning! But I did return for this fucking review, so I can help you ladies and gents to save your moneys. THIS PLACE SUCKS! read more

If i could rate it zero stars i would .. i went to get a FILL and the man who did them did all my toes EXCEPT one of my big toes, he filed all the paint off and just painted over my old acrylic toe so after it was done it looked like i hadn't had them done in 3 weeks.. it was so grown out but i just left. 3 days later it came off so i went to get it fixed and they fought with me and made me pay for THEIR mistake. everyone always had bad attitudes and they just want our money. so many other good nail places around here. I tried to give them second chance but they disappointed again. First time I went in for 3 nails that fell off from another tech. I asked them to repair aka replace/add to my already existing nails. Rather than providing me with a flat rate (ie, $3 a nail or whatever), the tech asked how much my previous nail lady charged and based it on that. So for 3 nails I overpaid like almost price of full set at their shop. Like $35!! Why couldn't she just quote me her own price? Shady. Second chance-they advertise they close at 7 pm. I got there at 6:25 pm for a pedicure. They turned me away saying there techs left already. As I was tryna find another shop while in my car, I saw 4 female workers leave at 6:30pm. Like if they're want to go home early and NOT be open until 7 pm, DON'T advertise that! Seem lazy! Advertise 6:30 pm then. WORST EXPERIENCE ever I recommend you NOT going to Fashion nail salon in Merced unless you want to end up with an infection on your toes due to poor hygiene. I believe the infection I caught was from their sanding tools they use with other clients. (automatic sanding wheel). I experience some burning sensation when she was using the sanding wheel, I pulled my toe away a couple times, all the technician did was rub on it and smile. when I noticed something was wrong with my toes I communicated with them via text and sent them pictures of my toes. The lady by the name Tee (manager) was rude on the phone and said I had to go to another salon to get the acrylic they applied, remove from my big toes because they were not going to touch it. when I asked her for a refund to be able to go to a different nail salon she said she don't do refund's. Payed $85.00 for an ugly infection that I'm now having to go to the doctor for not counting the level of pain I'm in. I had been coming to them for over a year but who knows what the clients before me had on their toes that i cough the last time I was there. the managers customer service was terrible she didn't even apologize for what they had done. DONT GO HERE, SAVE YOUR MONEY. This was one of the worst experiences. Three people walked out of the salon after me, because I got a bad job and politely asked to get them fixed. The woman was extremely rude tried to tell me it's how my nails are then threw the money I tipped her with into my face and told me to "get the fuck out." I spent $80 for horrible service, and a horrible job. Might I add when I was in there another woman came in to get her nails fixed bc they genuinely looked awful and the lady did the same thing to her. I had my worst experience at this nail shop. As a nail tech I know how nails are supposed to be done, but unfortunately right now due to my knee injury I can't do my own nails. I trusted these people to give me a pedicure. The nail tech filed my toenails four times with two different drill bits a file and a buffer. By the end my toenails were paper thin it was like he was getting ready to put on a full set. He dug a hole in the base of my toenail. It burned and hurt when I put it in the water. Asked him to stop or him he was hurting me. He responded with yes yes it's ok , like he couldn't understand what I was saying. This person seemed very confused while doing my feet and was constantly watching the other nail tech like he didn't know what to do next. The nail tech I'm assuming cut a square out of the corner of my toenail and expected me to paint them like that. Then when he got to the end covered my leg and oil not lotion and oil and placed Hot rocks directly onto my oil skin. As we all know you can't place heat next to or on top of oil skin. I was in so much pain I could barely walk to the car. I had to be driven home. I had to disinfect my feet when I got home out of fear of infection. It's the only thing that stopped my toe from hurting. I will never come to this place again. read more

First time coming here last Saturday & last!! I got a pedi & I noticed that the lady used the automatic nail filer on my toes & she cut me, she was being rough, it burned after I put my toes back in the water. Also, the lady was really rude too. I noticed that on Monday that toe started to hurt and it was turning red, which is the first picture I posted. On Tuesday I woke up to my toe kind of swollen & since I had a toe infection in the past (due to someone stepping on my toe) I know the symptoms so I headed to the doctor to be on safe side & sure enough she told me I had an infection.
