I would give this place 5 stars but they earned 4 because of COVID, one is forced to stay out and wait for their turn. The problem is there is no seating at least, inside or outside. It was 113 degrees outside and I had to wait outside for my turn. I was burning hot, I advise that they put better seating conditions for their customers. Overall, Adrienne did my hair and she was excellent! She was detailed, polite, creative, and always asked me if it was okay to cut my hair another certain way. We showed up with our 8 yr old the night before picture day 30 minutes before they closed...they had no one waiting and turned us away. It's a 5 minute kids haircut. Pretty unfortunate we had to go to great clips who closed at the same time and had 3 people getting haircuts and took us 10 minutes before they closed. My son who's 3 was very nervous. The person who did his hair seems like a they hate their job. They didn't engage with him at all. He was a typical toddler with a little wiggle here and there. Nothing a trained barber couldn't handle. She was so unfriendly she never once interacted directly with my child other than barking orders. He kept saying ow and she wouldn't stop to check on him- she stopped to give me a look when I asked him what hurt. His hair looks terrible I'm so upset with this whole experience. He starts preschool and his hair looks awful he was supposed to get a basic little boy cut with 3 and 4 attachments. I'll admit he did move at one point which caused ONE of the uneven cuts, she continued to hack away at his hair well beyond repairing anything. He has uneven lengths throughout his head. My son and I went in today for his first haircut ever inside of a shop. Our little guy is 8 yrs old and on the spectrum. We went in and I instantly had a ton of anxiety, and so did he. He scanned what was going on inside of the shop and seemed interested, and when it was his turn we met Jacalynn. She was AMAZING...can't think of any better way to describe her. She put myself at ease almost instantly. She worked with our son to gain his trust, even go as far as to allow him to stand for the beginning of the cut to get comfortable with it. In the end, our guy got to where he took a seat and let her finish up with the haircut. A haircut to most is just a simple, basic task, but for us it is a milestone. I'm truly grateful for how Jacalynn treated our son. Keep up the great work, we'll definitely see you again in the future. read more

Exceptional customer service! Very kind and helpful. They were so busy and had NO receptionist! Bless their hearts - they were cutting hair, answering phones, and greeting walk-ins. They did it all with grace, but it is OBVIOUS they desperately need a receptionist. As an employer, I would hate to lose such phenomenal staff because there was no support for them. Adriana is the best here on G street she really pays attention to detail and takes her time to make sure every customer is happy. My husband and sons love how she leaves their hair looking like they went to a barber shop without breaking the bank now that he has to pay for 3. Had an appointment with Sophia. I got there about 7 mins early, got checked in and waited and waited. only 1 customer came in while I was there, he was taken right away. As I waited and waited, Sophia never called for me, she stayed in the back room then decided she needed to clean the outside door window. After waiting for 20 minutes I left. The shop closes at 5 pm. Maybe she didnt want to do another haircut and I sure didn't want a rush job beings they were closing in 10 minutes. I will never go to that Supercuts again. Super upset with their management and scheduling. I called in for an appointment at 12:30. When I came in it was 12:25 and was a little busy so I understand and waited patiently for my turn. During my time there I hear the stylist checking other people in for 12:30 appointments too. Okay 12:45 later I ask when is it going to be my turn. Turns out the two that were also here for the 12:30 appointment called a little before me so they go to cut their first. So I ask when will it be my turn, the stylist was like oh another 20 minutes. What the heck. The reason people make appointment during a specific time is because they are busy. So if you already have someone at 12:30 please don't make another appointment at the same time. it's so annoying. So she offer for a later time or tmr. No I'm busy that's why I made a appointment today. We don't just stay home and wait to get haircuts. We have things to do. First time going there was awesome. This time left disappointed and with no hair cut. I won't be coming back to support this place. If I can leave 0 star, I would have left it instead. read more

Came here only to have my hair hacked and completely humiliated. The girl wouldn't do the hairstyle I requested because she thought it would look "weird." She kept going on and on about how she couldn't do the things I asked. I paid the $16 and left for home. When I dried and straightened my hair, it looked absolutely terrible!!!
