Came to pick up medicine and the person I dropped off my prescription with did not update my insurance info after I showed her a copy of my insurance. The guy whom I came to pick up the medicine simply told me I need to call my insurance company because I was not covered so I called and my insurance had to call them and of course I was covered. After my insurance called cvs they told me 20 more minutes after I already waited hour and 30! Horrific service I'm sticking to Walgreens for sure. read more

I went to fill a prescription for my dad who just had surgery in the evening today. I handed them the physical RX, 15 min later they tell me they need to verify it. It's past 6, most offices are closed. I gave the pharm tech the # to the surgery clinic, he has someone else call, & they call a different office instead when I specifically told them not to call that one. So I call and get exchange to get a hold of the MD for me after hours, mind you its 7:30pm and I've already been there 45 min. Then they said they can't speak to him through my cell, he has to call there! So I made them call the dr instead. And then after all that trouble, they tell me they don't even have the medication in stock and if it's ordered, it would take a week to arrive. They could've bothered to check their stock before hand instead of wasting my freaking time. The guy told me to go to Rite Aid across the street which was closed! So I drove all the way to the Traffic Circle CVS & they were extremely helpful, even suggested better places to go that would be more likely to have it such as a hospital pharmacy. But luckily I didn't need to do all of that or have to reverify the MD, & they had it in stock. read more

Avoid like the plague! The pharmacist has poor language skills, I mean very poor. I went to the dermatologist, and got prescriptions for a bad impetigo infection. I really needed the meds. I went to the closest CVS. I gave them the script. The staff was pretty rude on taking the order. I was asked to wait for 40 minutes. Over an hour later, I was told that there was some problem with the prescription, and I would have to wait until my doctor was contacted. Another hour goes by. The pharmacist then tells me that there is a discrepancy in the prescription. It says 60 pills. It also directs the patient (me to take 2 pills per day per week). She flips out and tells me that this is a serious discrepancy, and she has to talk to the doctor and document the very serious discrepancy. I decided to gently express my feelings toward her unprofessional conduct and parroting of the phrase "I must document." So I wait another hour. They are unable to contact the doctor on a Friday afternoon. Sigh. No prescription. I ask for the prescription back, so I can go elsewhere, the answer is no. WTF, meaning Why This Friday? Monday morning. I get a call from my doctor. He expresses concern over the competence of the pharmacist. I quote: "It's only an antibiotic, not Oxycontin." read more

Negative stars is more appropriate. The ONLY reason I come here is b/c my insurance company (AETNA) bought them, but sadly I did again and aged while in the drive thru. There are two lanes & apparently I picked the one that they hated. That lane is clearly marked "Drop Off Only" and an exacerbated began w/ asking me if I was there to drop off or pick up. Thinking that she must have been exhausted of people doing I wrong, I chipperly proclaim "Drop off please" only to be met w/ rude, obviously tired grunts. Then she disappears. Literally. I think she went on break. I don't know, just poof, gone. I push the call button. Crickets. Repeat. Another car pulls up in other lane and she reappears. Deals w/ them, then another behind them. I've still gotten zero response such as "come back, we got them" ... nothing. Finally after the other lane is empty and my prayers that no one pulls up again are answered, she says they're out. Period. So when do you think you will be in-stock? Tuesday, take your Rx back. "Oh, can you hold it and fill once available(?)" sheepishly I ask. No. On & on rude service goes. I end up at Walgreen's across the street and will pick up in 30 minutes. And will from now on. :( read more

DO NOT use the online photo print system. I ordered over 100 4x6 prints and ONE 8x10 for same day pick up. The pick up time was 4 hours after I placed my order which was reasonable. Not only was it not ready, it wasn't even started by the time I showed up. I had to wait an additional 2 hours, and when I finally picked them up, there were pictures missing and nobody knew why my enlarged photo wasn't made (even after it was on their order confirmation). They told me I should just re-order it and try again which was an inconvenience... but I did. I placed another same day order the next day. it has been over 24 hours and my TWO enlarged pictures have yet to be started. I had a discount due to the missing photos, but the purpose was to receive pictures, $3 isn't worth having to go through a stack of 140 pictures and try to find the missing photos to reorder. I ordered from Walgreens an hour ago and my prints are already waiting for me. read more

You need to double check on refills all the time even when you have already placed them on auto refill. Staff chews gum like a cow. have seen staff blow their noses and not use sanitizer or wash thier hands read more

Worst customer service ever. Notified Corporate of staffs tx of customers at pharmacy and nothing was done. Staff swear at u, lose prescriptions, notify people thier meds r ready when they rnt, etc. Horrible pharmacy read more

The more times that I have to deal with this stores Pharmacy the more that it makes me just do some kind of report to have this damn store closed down! I went the other day to give my prescription, ended up waiting almost an hour in there drive through just so that I could get some kind of service. Once I was able to get the vacuum tube, so that I could give them my Rx, I had to wait there another 30 min so that the Pharmacy. Tech could tel me that it would be ready in an hour. Now, knowing my history with this location, nothing is ever ready when they say it will be ready. I asked the young man to please have someone call me when it was ready. As suspected, and hour went by and no call. Once hour turned into two, then three, and finally after four hours of waiting for a call, I decided to call. The young lady stated that the medication had to be ordered since they didn't have it there, and that they would have it ready for me the next day. Why no one called to explain that to me? I will never know. So, waiting till the next day, called around 10 am, was able to speak to a Pharmacy Tech named Kim, she stated that the medication had not arrived, I asked her why, and she placed me on hold after stating that she was going to find out why. I said okay. As I'm waiting on the line, I noticed that it's been probably around 20 minutes, give or take a few, and I am still on hold. The suddenly, boom, call is ended. I had to call back, the woman that answers the phone, tells me that I have to wait that because there is three phone calls in front of me now, I try to explain what just happened with the line, an before I could even say anything I am already on hold. Great customer service right? NOT!!! By this time it is already 11:15 AM. Finally someone answers and tells me that they will have to call me when it is ready, because they might have to wait until tomorrow to receive the medication. So, as I'm typing this wonderful ******* review, I am still waiting for their call to let me know when the H*** my medication will be ready. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! CVS PLEASE, PLEASE!!! I went here late one night to fill my prescriptions I had 2 one for a mouth wash and one for a inhaler. It was around 930 at night so my other one was close on 6th and Long Beach Blvd. The technician at drop off didn't know what to do the pharmacist had to go go over to type it but couldn't get it come up. Then they both just walk away and I am still standing there. I asked if I was done? Oh yeah did you want to wait the pharmacist ask? I said yes since I was the only one in there. Then I am walking around the store shopping I noticed 2 other customers that go to the downtown store too waiting for a easy prescription a box item. Over all I waited 1 hour when I was told 10-15 minutes. For 2 easy items that didn't didn't need to get measured or counted. Then the pharmacist didn't even go over the mouth wash said oh you work for pharmacy ask them if you have questions just read label! Really read more
