The doctor said that is reasonable and put the refills in. Everyone knows that when you move across country that you need some time to get there, you need time to get your home situated and you need time to find a new doctor/care team. I called the WalGreens on 30th and W Ave L to ensure that they would be able to fill without any issue on the 2nd of June...two weeks from now. They put all through the system except the sleeping aide. Both of my insurances paid and she said I could pick those up on the 2nd of June. She said I needed my doctor to call the pharmacist to discuss the sleeping aide and get approval. I called my doctor and she called the pharmacy to get approval. The doctor's office called back and said that they would not fill my prescriptions because I was moving. A few minutes after getting off the phone with my doctor the pharmacy called and said I was not traveling I was moving and that they would not fill it because it was fraud!!!! I told her it wasn't fraud...I was moving and it would take me several weeks to travel there and get situated with my 82 year old dad who is a Vietnam vet. They had all the prescriptions revoked in the system! I called their corporate office and submitted a complaint. An hour later the pharmacist, Veronica (another employee gave me her name), called me from the store and said she did not understand my complaint. When I explained it to her again she got agitated and said I was making excuses because there are pharmacies where I was going and I could have the refills transferred. I did just get 2 of the meds refilled last week but by the time I get there I will be out and I will have just arrived there. I have never in my life had this issue when moving or traveling with a pharmacy. I explained this to her and she said to have my insurance call her to give approval. When I told her they did that when her employee put it into the system in the first place my insurances approved the travel exemption...that is why they had that. She said it was fraud and hung up on me. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. This pharmacist is untrained, rude, and power hungry. Blue Cross federal and Tri care should cancel their contracts with this company. If there are exceptions people can use for traveling there is not reason we should not be able to use them when traveling.

The general manager of the store refused to compensate me and my credit card company failed to refund me. Now I've escalated it to CVS corporate. Please do not buy any gift cards from CVS. I called them couple of times explaining as clearly as possible, that I m coming out of the dentist office and I m waiting for my pain medication... She said ok "wait let me go ahead and process your medication" when I got there and picked up the meds thinking its my pain meds, instead picked up medication that had nothing to do with the dentist. The medication they gave me was similar looking to ibuprofen (on the label) and was very close to doubling down on them thinking its the pain meds for my tooth. Intentional or not, this type of stuff happened before in this location. I am a very good judge of character and both times (when I first called to check if they got the paperwork, and later when I called to explain that they gave me the wrong medication from a different office) it was the same lady answering my calls. Very strange and noteworthy. She sounded to me very manipulative, talking over me so I wouldn't finish my thoughts to clearly explain the situation. Idk, its weird and little scary to think that someone might wittingly' or not maim you and convince everyone including herself that it was an accident. Trust me it is not that hard to genuinely care and hear when the customer says more then just once that "I just came out of the dentist office and calling for my ibuprofen or pain meds." I can't imagine myself working for a pharmacy and miss such an important piece of information and confuse my customer, never. I made a habit of being extra careful and clear here, because of this uneasy feeling in this city to begin with and yet again.... Drug overdose is a real thing and often deadly. Be careful and always double, triple check your meds. Doesn't matter how clearly you communicate, especially when you visit them medicated you are most vulnerable for misguidance. As to the pharmacy, please don't hire manipulative and cynical people that might misguide others simply because they feel that they can. Which if I may add, might amount to gang-stalking' given the location and general type of the residence. you have a responsibility to your customers.

Since that time, I have noticed a shocking change in the pharmacy. To save time, I started using the drive thru. On 6/12/2026, I was second in line, and as it was thanking a long time I went inside, thinking and believing, I could pick-up my eye drops and head home. Once inside, I immediately noticed the floors were spotted with stains. Then, at the counter, I discerned there was only one individual servicing the drive thru customers, while at the same time servicing the customers standing in line. After I had been asked my name, date of birth, and address, the young lady alerted the pharmacist to give me instructions on applying eye drops, which I declined, especially since there was a consultation window available for customers who needed help. I readily admit the staffing of the pharmacy leaves a lot to be desired, for I have encountered the pharmacy fully staffed, and the individuals were merely standing around doing absolutely nothing. Then, on 6/12/2026, there was one servicing the drive thru window customers, while helping the customers at the counter. The pharmacists stopped filling prescriptions to instruct me how to apply eyedrops. It is totally absent arrogance when I admit I have a BA in English Literature, and I am published, mystery writer whose books are being adapted for film. I say this to say I hardly need instructions on using eyedrops. Most all of my prescriptions are filled by this pharmacy, which will immediately be stopped, for I will endeavor to find a more efficient pharmacy. The cleanliness of the pharmacy vests solely with the manager. I have absolutely no idea who hires the pharmacy personnel, but I do strongly suggest this individual reconsider those who have been hired. Finally, I adamantly recommend the hiring individual reevaluate the entire hiring process.

My brother doesn't steal, cause problems, or break any rules. Going into a store, looking around, and deciding what to buy is not against the law. When I asked why he was being kicked out, the employee became aggressive and had absolutely no customer service skills absolutely zero customer skills. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, he kept insisting that he could "show me on the cameras" that my brother comes into the store and walks around. What made the interaction even more concerning was that the employee also said he always sees my brother "hanging around and playing around with those Black kids." That comment felt completely unnecessary and made me question whether my brother was being unfairly profiled based on who he spends time with rather than anything he actually did. he is 11 years old. He just wanted to buy drinks. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and judged by their actions, not by assumptions or the people they associate with. My brother did nothing wrong, yet he was treated like he didn't belong in the store. I hope CVS management looks into this incident and ensures customers are treated fairly and respectfully. I pointed out that 2 different sites said they returned from lunch at 1:00... he could have cared less. That was the attitude I received when I mentioned it to another employee. I sat for another hour, during which I listened to employees just standing around and talking, not doing much to earn their pay. I also listened to the customers waiting for the pharmacy to open, and it was abundantly clear that this store is NOT well thought of. When the pharmacy finally opened, we were first in line. The person waiting on us couldn't even manage to say hello; in fact, she acted like she could have cared less, as well. I was gone maybe 10 mins while my phone charged.. I came back in, grabbed my items and was walking back to the register a worker (her name is AMARIS) came up to me and told me to leave because she seen me steal items before I walked to my car. Cindy was very apologetic and said AMARIS was wrong and her approach was inappropriate. As I was leaving AMARIS was STILL smirking at me. This was extremely upsetting to me and the fact that AMARIS NEVER apologized because she was COMPLETELY WRONG is also not ok. I will be filing a formal complaint.
