This CVS is so convenient but in the past there have been BIG problems. It used to be often dirty. Stocking wasn't consistent (people would leave things on random shelves and the things would stay there ... cluttered). The cashiers .. well I'm sorry, they were tweakers. Long lines, as others have mentioned. No carts - EVER! However, I have noticed a BIG difference in the last ~6 months. Store is clean. Cashiers are helpful. I called in with a question tonight and had a very helpful and polite person answer my questions. There are always carts. I really appreciate the CVS commitment to no cigarettes. This is now my "go to" for less-than-Costco-volume trash bags, soap etc. read more

This pharmacy is the worst run of any drug store I have ever gone to! The lines are always a mystery ,which one is for what. I tried to exchange Claritin 24hr for 12hr, which I gave the young lady the card for, and she gave me the wrong drug. Was informed by Sam the rudest pharmacist I have ever met that I could not return the Claritin because I had opened the box, he went on to questioned me , why I opened it? Explaining that I thought I had purchased the correct drug ,and it wasn't tell I opened the box that I realized it was the wrong doses. Getting no we're with this Condescending jerk, I left and purchased new Claritin at the Rite Aid on Jamacha. I will never purchase anything at this CVS ever again!! read more

This pharmacy has screwed up my prescription order for the last time! They are staffed by incompetent people.

If negative stars were possible, this pharmacy would take the title. My doctor called in a prescription today for Zofran to this pharmacy as I just moved into the area. I called before I went down to the pharmacy to assure my prescription was filled. When I called I spoke to a man that said it was ready and would be about 9 dollars, so I headed to the pharmacy (vomit bag and all) only to be greeted by a rude older brunette woman who said she can't find the prescription. I then verified the telephone number when she condescendingly said "uuuuuuugh ya thats the number for the front of the house, but not here" . I then called my doctor to confirm this CVS location and he assured me it was and requested to speak to the pharmacist however the rude cashier refused to even let that happen. I am now on hold with this same pharmacy to get a name this time when they tell me they have it; however, I have been on hold now for 21mins and 16 seconds. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever been faced with at CVS. I will be sure to tell my doctor, my surgeon, my oncologist, and all my co-workers to NEVER use this subpar pharmacy. Get it together people! UPDATE: after 27 mins of holding i spoke to a Lauren whom stated she has my prescription.... GO FIGURE! at least she was nice. The comments typed below were written in early 2015 yet they never posted. After typing the review below, I did continue to use CVS. However, during the summer of 2015 I experienced another serious problem due to the incompetent pharmacy technicians working at this pharmacy. I even received 3 random, unknown pills mixed in with one of my regular prescriptions! I reported this and the problem mentioned in the review below to corporate CVS. A Regional manager attempted to call me once in response to The first report and again, only once when I made my final complaint and the summer of 2015. During both occasions, The CVS regional managers left me just 1 message and never called again. It's now Fall 2015 and I am now a very satisfied customer of a different pharmacy where they treat me like a million dollar customer (which combined with my family's prescriptions I actually am)! CVS lost out on my family's business. I'm never going back to the CVS again! -----------------WRITTEN EARLY 2015: For years my family and I filled all of our many prescriptions here and have for years now. If I had written a review just 3 months ago, I would have given the pharmacy staff 5 stars. However, now that pharmacist Michelle is no longer there and 90% of the staff has changed, I am about to pull all of my ongoing refills and go elsewhere! When I was told over the phone by new pharmacy staff member Deborah to come in with my co-pay coupon cards, I did not complain even though the purpose of my call was to have her enter the card information over the phone (as previous staff members had done for me with no problem since the prescriptions are already in the CVS computer on hold). I had wanted Deborah to input the data over the phone so that I would not be stuck in the store for an extra amount of time when I came to pick up these medications. When I came in last night with the coupon cards, it was 8:30, thirty minutes until the pharmacy closed which should have been plenty of time to address 3 meds. Initially, Deborah was helpful and patient. At around 8:40 or 8:45, she called out over her shoulder to ask the pharmacist if she could leave five minutes before 9:00pm to pick up her daughter, saying that her dtr would be waiting outside after her school play ended at 9:00. As the clock neared 9:00, Debra began to be impatient with me. She even rolled her eyes when I reminded her that I had a 3rd medication to discuss with her. I do not understand why Deborah was the only person who could help me since there were at least 3, maybe 4 other pharmacy staff members present? Because Deborah had to leave early, I was only able to resolve 2 of my 3 medication/insurance questions/issues with her so I went to the pick up counter to ask the employee working that section to assist me. Female Pharmacist Wen asked me if I could come back in the morning because they were closing in 5 minutes. I said no, advising her that I had called 4 days ago regarding this issue and had come in specifically to make sure these things were taken care of. Wen was patients and apologetic, running off to see if she needed to order the medication I was referring to while also trying to fill medications for 2 more customers waiting. When I verbalized my disappointment at how things had changed, Deborah was coming out from behind the pharmacy to leave for the night. She overheard me verbalizing my disappointment and she said, "we want to help you but you need to not wait to come in until right before we are closing". I reminded her that I had arrived at 8:30 and all I had were 3 questions. She huffed to herself then made another remark which I did not hear clearly as she spoke from a distance, walking towards the front of the store to exit. I was extremely offended! My family and I bring In hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars worth of business to this pharmacy every single month! In the past, Michelle and her staff treated me like a valued customer, grateful for my business. Now, I am being rushed, unable to I tend to issues that I have been trying to address for 4 days and made to feel like it was my fault that Deborah's daughter would be waiting outside at night!! If Deborah new that she would want to leave work early, she should have made arrangements for that. Had she asked that a different staff member take over for her and help me, all of my questions would have been answered (not just 2 out of 3). If the pharmacy closes at 9pm, I should be able to receive service until at least 9pm, not just until 8:55 because Deborah needs to leave early. I also understand that CVS employees are eager to get off of work but just because closing time is 9pm, I assume that does not mean that they should stop helping me once the clock strikes 9:00? Are the pharmacy employees unwilling to work a few minutes past 9 to ensure that a devoted, regular, valued client gets the medications ordered that her young son needs? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Calling this store to save time was a joke. I called the pharmacy to check on a prescription and the lady who picked up said she needed to put me on hold and then she NEVER came back to me. I kept hearing the phone being picked up and then put back on hold again over and over for 18 minutes before hanging up. I recalled another department asking to speak to a manager and then that person put me on hold and redoing the hold on the phone again and again before I got fed up and hung up. Total time put on hold was 28 minutes....what a joke! I'm just as important as the person standing in the store. The manager on duty at this time slot should go back to school, learn appropriate customer service and teach this to the staff. Not cool what so ever! read more

Honestly, I will drive miles out of my way now to avoid this pharmacy. They have long, long lines. There is typically only one register open with many people in the back. They have trouble filling my orders and more than once now, I have called in ahead of time to confirm an order is ready for pickup, only to arrive and find they cannot locate it and have to wait in line and then wait for them to fill it. Today, I left without one of my prescriptions, came back two hours later after calling and confirming it was ready, and they couldn't find it. There is no accountability, it just is what it is and you need to be ok with it. I suggest going elsewhere until they improve their management. read more

This is a place that has often overcharged me and has stated we charge more because we are open 24 hours. Additionally, even when there is no line it takes them time for them to count the pills (over 20 minutes) What prompted me to write the review, however, is that I was prescribed 10 tablets of Levofloxacin which I payed cash $236 and change. When I counted the pills the next day after taking one there was only 6 left. So the pharmacy student had given the wrong number. When I called to explain to the pharmacist he kept hearing "Stupid" when I said Student. He then "graciously" acknowledged that the count was off and decided to give me "3 more pills" without charging me (again) for them. When I asked how can a student pharmacy tech get this wrong? The answer from them was that we have an "automated counter" that got it wrong. This leads me to believe that there are others being given miscounted pills by the "automated counter." Caveat Emptor. I expect I will not be recommending patients go here. By the looks of the reviews, many people are dissatisfied with this pharmacy. read more

I recently got a cvs card yes! lol I love that there's a chase atm in here and a lottery scratcher machine lol. Most importantly, I love that it's next to where I live. I can walk there anytime. The employees there are very nice and friendly. read more

This CVS seriously needs to get their $h;t together. There really isn't any acceptable reason why a person should have to wait in a long line, for 20 minutes, to pick up a prescription, because there's only 1 cashier working in the pharmacy. The store itself is nice, and, the cashiers at the front are always friendly. There just aren't enough of them. Lines get ridiculously long at times. I took our prescription business away about a year ago; too slow and not very friendly. Today I went in for some reading glasses. Finally found the one rack and it was practically empty. There were about a dozen pairs, all 1.0 power. Asked the pharmacy folks (they were closest) "don't know". Went to the front; no service people around so I had to wait in line for the one register open. He directs me to the same rack (I was hoping I missed the "real" rack) and when I tell him it's basically empty, he shrugs his shoulders. I say "good job of stocking" and he says, smarmy, "have a nice day". I'll never go in that store again. read more

We had a prescription ordered for a refill on an inhaler called Ventolin which our Dr. Ordered and Val, a pharmacist took it upon himself to change it to a generic inhaler. My husband returned the generic and advised my husband it was the same thing and finally admitted he did not fill the prescription with exactly as the Dr.prescribed and gave us the refund. The co-pay charged for the generic was the same amount that would have been charged for the prescription the Dr. ordered. The pharmacists in many cases probably have orders to fill it with the generic because it gives the corporation a better profit line and the majority people of people particularly seniors don't notice. We will get our prescriptions filled at another pharmacy but everyone needs to be more vigilant as to what prescription they are truly picking up read more

as an ex hospital administrator, i can speak from some health care experience. this pharmacy is problematic and lacks leadership and accountability. first, understaffed. employees are overworked and stressed out. as a customer, it is not unusual to wait 10 to 15 minutes to pick up a rx. they frequently fill the wrong rx and more recently do not have my rx in stock and have to make a second trip. furthermore they all seem so indifferent to creating problems for their customers. their inventory control is questionable. it is hard to tell if their is a supervisor\manager who is in charge or takes ownership. it has been this way for years and at times is even worse. the store manager attests to receiving daily complaints, but has no control over the pharmacy. there are similar yelp complaints, but obviously cvs is not interested in patient satisfaction or customer care. shame on cvs! read more

I had forgot my thyroid medication out of town and I came to this pharmacy just to get one one pill for the time being. my thyroid which is very important and this man in there the pharmacist name Ali turned me down. He gave me some sort of excuse about how I have to go to my original pharmacy which they are all CVS. Ive been in this situation before the other pharmacies out of town help me out with a pill or two when I needed it when I forgot my thyroid medication at home. Am I really writing a review on CVS Pharmacy? Yes, you're damn skippy I am! I was never really into the whole drugstore atmosphere it just seems like a place that psycho serial killer-ish people go to drugstores like that guy from no country for old men or something lol. Anyway, I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service from my last pharmacy which was SAVON in Albertsons and decided to switch to CVS after receiving some kind of thingy in the mail from them saying transferring would be easy and they would do it for me and give me a $25 gift card just for switching to them. I was soooo impressed with their friendly pharmacists, the size of the pharmacy is also larger than Sav-on. Then while waiting I was very distracted by the rather large sephora like cosmetics and hair product section. I thought I was in the nail shop with the amount of nail polish they carried, they also carry very high end hair products. As I continued to roam while waiting for my prescription (it was a transfer so they had to do some paperwork stuff so it took a little while but not too long) I then felt like I was on an episode of pitchmen (R.I.P. Billy Mays) they had an endless amount of "as seen on tv" products and it was pretty hilarious to see all this stuff in one place, like a whole freakin aisle of it. Moving onto the wine aisle woohoo! This section was fully stocked with a lot of sales going on, love it. Ok, so back to the actual pharmacy...they were fast, precise, knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't ask for better! read more

Been to many CVS's. This one on Avocado by far has the longest wait. I go there quite often and there is a long line every time. After you stand in the pick up line, then have to wait, they say go to register three so you don't have to stand back in line, but that's not true because I tried it and they told me to stand back in line again. The service texts you saying that a medication is ready by a certain time and day but it is not always true. Customer service is not all that great either. They have several employees in the back and only one on the register most of the time. If you go there, which I do not suggest, do not get help from either Nicole or Wen (the Asian girl that does not wear a tag. Nicole is rude and in-personable and Wen makes you feel stupid if you don't understand something in consultation. The only good customer service you will receive is from Tracie. She is very kind and takes the time to answer all your questions patiently. read more

I requested a prescription transfer from Walgreens to CVS. It have been an absolute nightmare. I went down and spoke with a customer service rep in the pharmacy and gave her all the information on Wednesday morning. It is now Friday and they still have not called Walgreens.
