I had a very frustrating experience at CVS today involving an employee named Lynn. I was at the store picking up medication for my dog and also needed assistance getting an item from a locked skincare cabinet so I could check out everything together at the pharmacy. I waited in the aisle while the assistance bell was rung multiple times, at least four times, and no one came to help. Another employee eventually stopped and apologized, but explained that she did not have the key to open the cabinet. During this time, I could clearly see Lynn near the front of the store stocking shelves after she had already helped me earlier in my visit. I politely called out "Ma'am" multiple times to get her attention, and instead of approaching or even turning around, she responded from a distance with "What?" and "Yes, what do you need?" while still facing away from me. When she finally returned to the aisle, she initially asked which product I needed instead of simply opening the cabinet so I could look. The entire interaction felt dismissive, rude, and unnecessarily difficult for a customer who had already been waiting patiently while trying to pick up medication for their pet. I understand employees get busy, but basic professionalism and customer service still matter. I should not have had to repeatedly call for assistance after waiting several minutes with no response. read more

This is my health and they just don't care. I have never had an issue with a pharmacy until this location. I'm now without my medication for 7 days. I keep getting promised it will be in over and over. I cannot contact or transfer my medication to another location. It will not let me. My review is not necessarily for the store inside, rather the outside property. There is a new manager for this location and I spoke with him on the phone telling him. I was very pleased at how he has kept the outside looking clean and neat. They have hired a gardener or someone to keep the area, neat, clean and tidy. Makes the neighborhood look much better! I'm sure they are getting better business because of the way the property looks. Not so rundown and scary! There's a few planters on the side by the drive-through that could use some drought tolerant plants. That would liven up that area. Thank you for caring about our neighborhood! read more

I work in customer service and I understand people have their bad days but regardless you DO NOT mistreat people and laugh in their face when they need their medication and when asking a question that's common decency. A worker in the pharmacy department named Fernando was very disrespectful and rude to my mother when trying to pick up hers and my grandpas medication that said it was ready. Instead of answering the question that's common decency needed a simple answer he would cut her off and being so rude and laughed in her face when she kindly asked questions. I went to pick up an RX today from an appointment at 10:30 AM where the doctor said she had called in the prescription. It was approximately 2:15 PM almost 4 hours after my prescription was called in. The pharmacy clerk said my prescription was not available and would not be available for over 30 more minutes. I informed the tech that I had to pick up my son and I wouldn't be able to come back and that my medication was an antibiotic that I needed for an infection. He said I had to wait. I told him I would wait there, in the drive-through as no one was behind me. I rolled up my window and waited a few minutes later I realize that there was a note taped to the window. On this note was my name written out currently blacked out in the photo. I called and asked to speak to the pharmacist manager that was in charge. I spoke to Howard Lee. I informed him the office was violating my federally protected HIPAA rights by posting my name and acknowledgment that I received medication there. He told me he did not care and hung up on me. I then called the store manager, Jesus Ramirez, and informed him of what occurred in the violation to my federally protected right. He said he would address the issue. As I am waiting for the store manager to address, two ladies in the car behind me got out of their cars came up to the window and verbally assaulted me by name, because my name was on the sign of the drive-through window, placed by the lead pharmacist. One woman actually hit my car and yelled at me causing extreme emotional distress and physical damage to my vehicle. I asked the store manager for the name of the person that violated my federally protected rights. He said it was Howard Lee, the main pharmacist in charge. I took a video when I asked him who did it I filed a police report for assault and disturbing the peace. I have also filed a report with the pharmacy board and contacted CVS corporate regarding these violations. The district manager for this CVS, Haider Mirze, called to apologize for the pharmacists violation and offered me $50 in store credit for the violation. What a slap in the face. I have been going to the same doctor at UCLA Medical Center in Westwood for over 20 years. He has been giving me the same two prescriptions for the same period. I went in for the usual refills and some new "wanna be doctor" of a pharmacist rejected the refills because she didn't like the wording of how and when to take them. This was on a Saturday and this A-hole named "Hanna" had me wait until Monday until she could call my doctor. Absolutely unbelievable ! WORST SERVICE EVER. If you can avoid this pharmacy please do and save yourself the time, stress and trouble. There is not ONE person at this pharmacy who is decent and their job, they all have really bad attitudes and behave like they work for free. I really do understand that under the current circumstances people are harder to work with than usual, BUT I've come here with a couple times on different occasions and the attitude is just as bad as before for no reason.. They also work as slow as possible it seems, waiting times and lines are so long and there's more than enough people "working" but in actuality just doing a bunch of nothing. The drive thru is really worst than going inside and there's always a line. Just go to another location, even if this one is convenient for you like it is for me. Other locations are never this unprofessional and slow - I drive all the way to Lawndale to get my prescriptions instead of walking down the street now. read more

Howard from the Pharmacy has the worse customer service ever! First of all, he doesn't care about his clients and very rude. This pharmacy needs people that will care about their clients. It's been a month my parents going back and forth to them and the doctor office and they have been talking to Howard who did not help at all. I tried to talk to Howard and he was rude. I am sorry but if you are going to be rude to your clients then you shouldn't be working there especially in a pharmacy. Because of him and his unreliable crew, I am going to have to change pharmacy for my parents to Walmart cause those crew across the street actually care for their clients and their clients well being. The location is poorly staffed, has a security guard that parks in the handicap parking(and is not handicapped) then harassed me for being in a wheel chair. Told us they had a medication, and then after jumping through hoops to get a prescription to them, the medication they had was expired - - clearly no inventory controls here, and no one willing to take responsibility or help us find a solution. If I could give this place a negative star I would Just went in to pick up photos I submitted online which they notified me that they were done. Walked in at 1:35, after being there for 15mins by the photo counter, mind you u could see my photos were done, some guy who I'm guessing works in the photo department said be there in a few and walks to the back. It's really convenient that this place is open 24 hours. The place looks clean and the staff was friendly. The place is well-stocked and it seems to have everything that is needed. It even has alcohol for those late-night runs. I came here at about 2 AM and there was no line when I checked out. I really dislike this pharmacy. I got a call from them at 720pm last night asking me if I wanted one of my Rx put on automatic refill. I told them no because that Rx is to be cancelled because my Dr submitted another Rx with higher mg. Thought that was the end of that. Should have been. Today I get a text saying that my Rx is ready for pickup. I call the pharmacy to ask what Rx is ready (because I'm thinking it can't be the one I said no to). Whoever answered the phone said it was the lower dosage Rx. I wanted an answer from her about why if I said no...was it automatically refilled. She immediately went on the defensive saying she didn't do it and she wasn't there last night and the only thing she can do it cancel it. Customer service goes a long way people!!! Wilma was exceptionally attentive with my usage of coupons for purchasing baby formula. No joke, my transaction was just completed and of course, on the bottom of my receipt is another coupon! For you non-formula buying people, any break you can get on formula is a good thing.
