The ladies that came up to my car and assaulted me.
Melody S.

I went to pick up an RX today from an appointment at 10:30 AM where the doctor said she had called in the prescription. It was approximately 2:15 PM almost 4 hours after my prescription was called in. The pharmacy clerk said my prescription was not available and would not be available for over 30 more minutes. I informed the tech that I had to pick up my son and I wouldn't be able to come back and that my medication was an antibiotic that I needed for an infection. He said I had to wait. I told him I would wait there, in the drive-through as no one was behind me. I rolled up my window and waited a few minutes later I realize that there was a note taped to the window. On this note was my name written out currently blacked out in the photo. I called and asked to speak to the pharmacist manager that was in charge. I spoke to Howard Lee. I informed him the office was violating my federally protected HIPAA rights by posting my name and acknowledgment that I received medication there. He told me he did not care and hung up on me. I then called the store manager, Jesus Ramirez, and informed him of what occurred in the violation to my federally protected right. He said he would address the issue. As I am waiting for the store manager to address, two ladies in the car behind me got out of their cars came up to the window and verbally assaulted me by name, because my name was on the sign of the drive-through window, placed by the lead pharmacist. One woman actually hit my car and yelled at me causing extreme emotional distress and physical damage to my vehicle. I asked the store manager for the name of the person that violated my federally protected rights. He said it was Howard Lee, the main pharmacist in charge. I took a video when I asked him who did it I filed a police report for assault and disturbing the peace. I have also filed a report with the pharmacy board and contacted CVS corporate regarding these violations. The district manager for this CVS, Haider Mirze, called to apologize for the pharmacists violation and offered me $50 in store credit for the violation. What a slap in the face. I will be hiring an attorney.

Worst customer service ever. All pharmacies give me a bad attitude and feel like don't want to help me anything.

Was in the immediate area having a key fob made for my car across the street when I stumbled into…read morethis very unique CVS that has a legit pharmacy, but also an entire section dedicated to the local Hispanic community, hence the "Y Mas" after CVS. I also needed to withdraw some cash via their atm, which, at $3.50 a pop per withdrawal wasn't cheap, but not too bad either. I was grateful they had a functioning atm to begin with. Perhaps the best part of this visit to this particular CVS was the fact that they had a super sweet (and locked under key) cologne and perfume section with major name brands going for way, way cheaper than you'd find them anywhere else. And while the pictures aren't the clearest, you'll see the brands they rock here. Not bad at all! I'll be back!

Young guy, super nice took the time to help me last time even tho he was short staffed!! Supervisor on the other hand was horrible. In my 10 years of being a manager I have never met anyone who is a supervisor but has no answers to questions. I went in for a Paid online print order that was done and ready two days ago. Before I even pulled up my email to show her, she was already telling me her printers aren't printing, and it's not ready. I explained to her that it was ready two days ago, she didn't care to check her inventory. I asked her how do I get a refund, or when will they be ready, she said she doesn't know I need to call cvs. KEEP IN MIND, she's CVS supervisor . I kindly asked her if she can check just incase, she did with attitude. Lady if you're having a bad day, don't take it out on other people. No wonder this location has a 2.2 rating.

I happened across Rite Aid's El Segundo's Grand Ave. location because I couldn't find parking in the area to meet some friends next door at The Standard Station Sports Bar & Grill, and my Catholic guilt got the better of me. I always made it a habit whenever I parked at a business I initially had no intention of visiting, I would go inside and make a small purchase as a sort of "payment" for parking on their premises. Now that my conscience was cleared, I quickly reflected on the company's recent bankruptcy filing news. The company that took over Thrifty's decades ago was now on its seemingly last legs. I've had fond memories of both companies, so this visit was kind of bittersweet. Was I all right with this particular location before its demise!? PURCHASE Resse's Pretzels Miniature Cups 9.9oz Bag ($5.99): I was a fan of all the yummy sweets throughout the Reese's brand, so when I saw this in the nearly-empty Halloween candy section, I grabbed it because it sounded good and it was the last one so it looked sad there all by itself. Once I finally tore this bag open and shared it with my friends, each tiny cup was packed with crunchy pretzel pieces covered with smooth peanut butter and delectable chocolate. It was as good as expected - yummy! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=LVCD_bwXBXM5UDwLiU72KA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE Because I had no idea what I was going to purchase before I entered, there was no need for any customer assistance. As I whizzed through the store, I came to the candy aisle and my decision was made. I quickly went to the self-checkout counter, paid, and I was out the door in minutes. I saw one employee serving Thrifty's Ice Cream, one cashier, and one other employee stocking the shelves. All was good! PARKING (FREE) Located within the Grand Park Plaza, they were on their own standalone corner and had their own private lot with a ton of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A medium-sized building that was clean and organized inside with easy directions and labels for each section along with spacious aisles. The pharmacy was at the very back, the refrigerated and frozen coolers also along the back and side walls, the ice cream counter up front close to the registers, and a surprisingly assorted well-stocked liquor section. A decent amount of natural lighting came through the front glass windows and doors while plenty of soul-sucking fluorescent electric ceiling lights covered the rest. I didn't recall seeing any TVs but Top-40 music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=xxKABnVWyX0xms7iHFED6A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL El Segundo's Grand Ave. Rite Aid location was perfectly fine for my needs although probably wholly not theirs. On my quick casing of the joint, everything was kept clean, organized, and what you'd expect from any other Rite Aid if you've ever been in one. And, they still had Thrifty's Ice Cream, so buy it now while you could! Honestly, I had no idea how long this location would be around since the bankruptcy, so I wished them the best. The prices may be a touch higher due to convenience and economies, and you may not find all the brands out on the market but possibly lesser-known ones. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $6.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
