Never EVER come to this cvs for the pharmacy. I had a simple transfer that took me 4 visits to get. I had to walk the pharmacist through her own drug procedures!! When I didn't answer my phone the first time because I was at work, they threw my file in the back and forgot about me until I came in!! Then the next day they told me they didn't have my phone number right after they JUST called me. After making mistakes for 4 days, they make me wait in line two more times. The pharmacy staff is lean and over worked. There is one guy who is wonderful, polite and helpful, most of the staff are irritated with customers. However, there is no excuse for the rude, and abusive language by Mohamed, head pharmacist. I have a medical practice and would not be in business if I talked to my patients the way he does. A few months ago, after a complete knee replacement, I called in a pain medication refill. When I went to pick it up, several days later, Mohamed told me the pharmacy was 'out' of the medication and he did not know when it would be available. The pharmacy did not call to let me know they were out and did not call another pharmacy to see availability or let me know so that I could transfer the prescription to another pharmacy. When I asked 'what can I do' he shrugged his shoulders with no help. I was in a lot of pain. He is rude, dismissive and verbally abusive. He is in charge of the pharmacy and sets the tone for disrespectful customer service. There is no reason or excuse to behave with such disrespect. I recently had another awful interaction with Mohamed. I will not go back there. The general store managers are respectful and helpful. read more

I went to this store to buy a few things this morning. At the counter, I was told I would have to pay a few bucks more than the posted price for some items because I don't have a CVS card. I didn't get mad; I just told the cashier "I don't have to shop here," and I walked out. At home, I found everything I need for about the same price online. I know loyalty cards are popular now, but for a drug store, demanding a loyalty card seems like a really stupid idea; it complicates what should be a simple transaction and alienates potential customers. read more

Online information states that all four of my prescriptions are ready for pick up. This is the 13th month that I've arrived at this pharmacy and they don't have two of the four ready. 13 months of "script sync" not working. By this time, every employee there has stared at a computer screen and said it will work next month. Today I was rude to the counter person and she was rude right back. I said I didn't have 15 minutes to wait, I was on a schedule. She said she was on a schedule too. I asked the pharmacist for the name and phone number of the district manager. He didn't provide it and just said they'd get it right next month. I won't be back. Awful place. Going to hope for better luck at Costco. read more

I hate this pharmacy! I can't believe I told my doctor to send the prescription here. I went to pick it up and they said they did not have it. I called my doctor and she said she called it in two weeks ago. I called them and they said I went to the wrong window. I gave the the information and she said they did not have it in stock and she would need to order it. Why didn't they order it when the doctor called it in? I gave her my insurance information and she said it would not come up on the computer and I needed to bring my card in. I am so dreading going in there to wait in the endless line of innocent people waiting to get their prescriptions. Uhggg! read more

man the pharmacy here really sucks. and the pharmacist is a total jerk. I went in and asked if he had an opinion on a few cold medicines I had selected and he was very rude and gave me unhelpful advice and tried to make me feel like an idiot for asking him and wasting his time. This place was sooo much better when it was a save-ons drug store. Also i order perscriptions over the phone and they are never ever ready. they always went until I arrive and say I have to wait another 30 mins while they fill it. this place has just lost another customer read more

Seriously understaffed. CVS has no concern for the welfare of their customers. Wait times are an hour and if it's an hour before closing time when you drop off your prescription, they'll make you wait an hour with no guarantee that they'll fill the prescription before closing. read more

I had a question for the pharmacist about my prescription and tried to call to speak with someone. I called twice, because no one was picking up, and spent over an hour on hold. Since it is the nearest cvs, I finally drove over there. It was not busy (one person in line). I called the pharmacy number again while I was standing in a nearby aisle, and despite the fact that there were 4 other pharmacy employees not helping customers, no one picked up the phone. I waited on hold for 10 minutes and no one made a move to pick up the phone. When I got home, I realized I had a question about drug interactions so I called the cvs pharmacy on W. Carrillo and they picked up on the second ring. The whole conversation lasted 2 minutes, all my questions answered. There's definitely something wrong with the Turnpike cvs. read more

CVS Corporate! Get your act together and do something about this location! Look at the reviews...can you detect a trend here?? As reviews already state, there is always a giant line, bad customer service, and it seems a bit grimy to boot. I hate that this is the closest pharmacy to me. Switching to Walgreens. read more

I just read a quote by Albert Einstein who said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Ok so call me insane because I continue to come to this pharmacy even though EVERY time I come here there is a problem or issue that needs to be resolved. Once again it happened this morning. I will be taking my business elsewhere although looking at the Yelp reviews of local pharmacies it looks like there isn't much better out there:( Complaints: * the automated pharmacist calls incessantly if a Rx is ready. * if you don't pick it up within a couple days(hey I tried but the line was 10 people deep and I don't have time for that) they will put it back and just try to have them find it. *if by a miracle your Rx is ready and on the shelf, half the time they don't have your insurance info even though I have been going to this Pharmacy for years (insanity). * if you are across town and would like to get Rx filled at another CVS, nope their system is not linked so get out that insurance card again. Literally the worst pharmacy service of my life. I was made to wait well over an hour just for them to process my insurance. I had to call 4 times to transfer my prescription here before coming in and the first 3 times I called they had no idea who I was. The employees lost all info on my first 3 phone calls. There are baffling levels of disorganization and general confusion at this pharmacy. read more

I have been a customer at this pharmacy and store for over 10 years and think they do a very good job considering the number of customers. Are they perfect? Of course not. I went In the other day to purchase a few item I needed for my home. After being rung up by an older gentleman named Francisco I was told that his hours were cut. I have been a long time costumer and Francisco has always surpassed costumer service expectations! Give him his hours back! He's the best. Shortly after I purchased my items I was walking over to the lotto machine when I was rudely harassed by a cvs employee by the name of, and I'm sorry if I didn't catch it completely "samantha" she began taunting me about my looks and began teasing me that I "looked like a baby" I then told her she should be embarrassing costumers needless to say, on the clock! I will never go back to cvs on turnpike ever again! She ruined the company's reputation. If a company is hiring a "manager" with lack of personable skills o would like to speak with cvs HR department! This was a ridiculous experience and no one should ever be made fun of or belittled because of their image. read more

This pharmacy is mandated by my insurance company to obtain an insurance discount. Horrible mandate. For years, I have suffered through long lines, incorrect prescriptions, being told "out" of prescriptions, and total confusion about availability or processing of doctor's orders. Now, the "last straw" is that my neurologist, ( treating my severe Essential Tremor that limits my mobility), faxed a prescription for a controlled-drug that she has prescribed through CVS for years, and the pharmacist REFUSED to fill the prescription. He knew that I would be out of the medication for days until the regular timed refill, but sent me home without even a few tablets. Apparently, pharmacists can override a doctor's, signed, faxed order on a whim, and the CVS customer service told me that it was his prerogative!! So after four trips and standing, (shaking terrible because I can't stand without debilitating shaking), the pharmacist judged me and my doctor, and decided that HE didn't think he should give me the prescription. I left feeling like I was viewed as a drug "addict." Horrible lesson and experience. read more
