Been coming to this CVS for years but it will be my last if they don't work with their newer cashier /employee Ginnie on customer service. She was absolutely horrible and if she is going to be working with people she needs some major customer service training asap! This CVS is the closest pharmacy to my house - and there's a Von's Market, a good Subway and a good Pizza place in the same complex. There used to be a good auto parts house next door but it closed. I end up in the CVS about once a month to once every six weeks (but not by choice). Now, my 1st complaint: It's IMPOSSIBLE to find anything in this store. You have to ask the counter person EVERY TIME you go in as stuff is constantly being moved. You'd think the store was going out of business. PICK A LAYOUT AND STICK WITH IT. Example: Yesterday my wife needed some non-stick gauze pads, Neosporin, and Band-Aids. Just some common first-aid type of products. We went to the nearest pharmacy (this CVS). After 10 minutes of wandering around, I went to find a floor person to ask for a location. None to be found. Not many customers either. I walked up front to the registers - found one person. He had a line of six cutomers. I waited until he was finished with his current customer, excused myself to the next guy in line, and asked the clerk where gauze bandages, Neosporin, and Band-Aids were. The clerk gave me the location. I went back to my wife, we walked to the aisle, we found the location. Add one attaboy to the front counter clerk for accurate info on a moving target (i.e. where the bandages are this week). Next complaint: NO STOCK. I counted them - there are 44 shelf slots with stock tags for some form of bandage: gauze pads, band-aids, etc. TWELVE OF THOSE SLOTS HAD ZERO STOCK. Now at one point in my life I ran the computers and modified the programs that maintained inventory for a radio paging (i.e. beepers) company with over 25000 customers in 5 counties and a dozen storefront outets. I understand the basics of inventory control: shelf minimums, maximums, reorder thresholds, the fact that too much shelf stock wastes money, that back room space in the store is not profitable. etc. BUT NOT HAVING ANY 2 INCH BY 3 INCH NON-STICK GAUZE PADS AT ALL? OF ANY BRAND? 2x3 IS THE MOST COMMON AND MOST USED SIZE THERE IS. Next complaint: NO STAFF. I went back to the front register to ask if there might be a floor person that could look in back for some unshelved stock. Answer #1: He's the ONLY ONE IN THE STORE and he can't leave the registers. Answer #2: There is no "in back". Everything comes off the resupply truck (due in tomorrow) and goes on the shelves. When the shelf is empty, you're out of luck. So we thanked him, left and went to Walgreens. They had everything we needed, floor staff that helped us find it, and lots of stock. So this CVS IS A TOTAL JOKE, A WASTE, AND A GOOD EXAMPLE OF HOW BEAN COUNTERS ARE RUINING A COMPANY. And when the regional manager decided to close the store he can't blame the bean counters in the home office. HE HAS TO BLAME SOMETHING LOCAL. Note that in this case you have a personnel safety issue on top of everything else - you NEVER have only one employee in a store. BTW: Other CVS locations are 24 hours. This one isn't. With no business due to no stock and no staff, I'm not surprised. Final comment: There was a gentleman with a chair and a card table just outside the door promoting the D.A.R.E. program. My wife chatted with him while I went and got the car. I loaded her walker into the back and drove to Walgreens. During the drive she told me that he had told her that over the last few hours there were more unhappy customers coming out of this CVS than happy ones.... that they were mentioning lack of help or lack of stock. So my experience that day wasn't unique. A good point: Parking is excellent, only because the shared lot is huge, and the CVS bean counters can't turn it into empty shelf space. Now understand - I AM NOT UNHAPPY WITH THE STAFF - WHAT THERE IS OF IT. I AM NOT UNHAPPY WITH CVS OVERALL - JUST THIS ONE STORE (I've been to several others that are the exact opposite - well stocked, easy to shop in, and good staffing). THE ONE GENTLEMAN WAS VERY PLEASANT AND VERY HELPFUL. BUT THE ONE IS ALL THAT THERE WAS. And they wonder why they have a shoplifting problem? read more

Long lines and lots of waiting. I hate coming here. The refill said it'd be ready by a certain time, but when I go to pick it up (hours past its scheduled time due) it's still not ready. New insurance updates takes forever. Not to mention that the building in general is severely run down, unkempt & dirty. The anchor store, Vons, closed down and this store won't be far behind. This has got to be the worst CVS ever. EVER. Terrible customer service. Tons of their products are damaged, out of date, or already opened by a previous customer and left on the shelf. Every experience I have here is terrible. Last night I stood at the checkout for 5 minutes before an employee even came within sight of me. Pharmacy has gone doooooooown hill. FIRST I needed a medication for a very private sensitive matter and the pharmacist giving me information on it said my problem so loud it was embarrassing there were 2 people right at the next window. No communication at all about them not carrying my medication anymore for DAYS. Told me they we're ordering, they never ordered it. Had me on hold for forever when I finally called them. They said they would call doctor to have them prescribe a different one because they no longer carry it.... did NOT communicate with me that they tried for 2 days to get doctors response so once again, no communication and rude right away when I called about my prescription information. I'm just a patient who has needed her medicine for a week now. I would have contacted my doctor if they were unsuccessful but they did not tell me until I called and blamed the doctor. Also, my text messages saying my prescription is ready isn't going through so I simply asked them if they had my number correct and she jumped down my throat and told me ask your phone company. No apology or sympathy for me being without my medication. Damn. This cvs is right around the corner about to switch. read more

Easy Quick service at the Pharmacy! I arrived 10minutes before closing and got my prescription filled in 7minutes!! There are no lines and pharmacist behind the counter definitely know what they are doing! read more

Very rude customer service I just wanted to explain something to Angel and he wouldn't let me talk because according to him he knows and he doesn't know and needs to let me talk to explain why my doctor was switching my meds and I needed to know how I could possibly get a refund or a credit since I had just picked up the wrong meds but no I couldn't get a word on how damn rude sorry dude you have to work today not my problem and I told him thanks for being rude and I had my doctor change my new meds to Sams club so keep acting like that angel and cvs won't have any customers have a nice day never doing business with you guys again. Very good customer service. I bought ten cases of water. Jaime was the store associate that greeted me when I walked in. I told him what I was looking for he put the ten cases of water on a flat cart and help me load them in my car. Very helpful and professional. read more

I've been coming to this pharmacy for at least 2 1/2 yrs/monthly with same prescrip. They've ALWAYS been rude & had attitude. They behave as though I should be grateful to be a costumer here. Clearly they have the wrong people working with the public. What happened to common courtesy? Apparently those in the pharmacy are not familiar with that term. Now with change in prescription paper they are even more difficult. If your doctor hasn't gotten the new paper yet, DON'T BOTHER COMING HERE!! I am finally done here. One star because I have too. There photo department sucks. They are extremely rude and take way to long. They have one cashier that runs both up front and photo, the expect other customers to help each other and when the customer ask for their help, they just refer you to go to another cvs. Last time me or my family shop here. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. I updated my Insurance, I was called and asked for the new info AND I was told to walk in and show cars. Low and behold It was never updated so now I have to wait for my insurance to be reinputed to get my medicine. Always no one helpful and the pharmacist is ignorant. I was TOLD when I can take my medicine because I have to wait 2 hours I between pills, so she said I HAVE to take it at bedtime, excuse me I can take it when I want and remember, as long as it is 2 hours later. Went in today to NOT RETURN an item but to add an email reward that said I can get $5 off a $15 purchase. Me and my boyfriend bought a razor at another CVS that came up being $15 and some change with taxes. That store employee said there system was slow and my boyfriend tried adding his number and the employee stated that the number wasn't a valid member number but if you go to the red box and punch in the SAME phone number it says all coupons have already been printed so that made no sense! (Clearly it was a valid member number) Than once it started to work the man said "oh the lady took your razor" so the lady in line after us got a free razor. Employee bagged the razor in her bag. We couldn't get another since it was the LAST one in store. So we dicided to drive to another cvs BIGGER MISTAKE. CVS in Arrow Hwy is the worst CVS I've been to. So we go in I say I wanted to return it but rebuy it so I can use my rewards. So the lady Olivia does it and asks the manger John (who made this man manager???) how much am I suppose to give her back. So I paid $6 in cash and paid with $6 ECB cvs gives out and a manufacture $3 coupon so the right thing to do was give me the coupons in a cvs giftcard and the $6 cash back. After all was done they wanted to charge me double for a razor and not give back any credit for BOTH coupons. Never heard that in my life. No other store keeps the manufacture coupon later saying you lose it if you return the item. Didn't want to return anything was just trying to get a better deal!!!! He was a complete idiot my BF asked to see the receipt and John didn't even want to hand it so my BF reached over and got the receipt tried to break it down for the mentally slow manager. The whole time the cashier was trying to explain to john the manager what we were doing. He still didn't get it and was just rude had me give my ID saying I return a lot. I can count how many times Ive returned at CVS throughout so many YEARS on my hands . So I read in the cvs policy that you are only ID when you return without a receipt. He made me feel like I was some criminal asking for my money back and would walk out with the cash in my pocket! I wanted a better deal and to pay less out of pocket! After I wrote down my ID he asked is this an 8 or a 6 I said 6 he said looks like an 8! Like really if I didn't want to give any information I didn't have to due to me having and showing the receipt. To be concise Olivia the cashier should be manager she had some brains unlike John that should work on the back room. He has no knowledge about coupon policy or how to deal with costumers.
