The management here is amazing. I live close by so I am here often. When my car broke down at 3 in the morning the manager let me keep my car in the parking lot over night. Tonight I was just there and when I was checking out, one of the managers came up to me and asked me if I went there by myself. I told him yes and he told me that he was going to walk me out to my car. When we got outside he told me that there was a man in the store who he noticed wouldn't stop staring at me and he wouldn't have felt comfortable if he let me walk to my car by myself. read more

How is no one from CVS's senior management in this district doing anything to remedy the problems with this place? Every single review on here is complaining about the same thing -- rude, incompetent pharmacy staff, and unsympathetic managers. How is this overlooked when you have so many people on here complaining about the same exact thing? I guess they must be making enough money not to care, and really that's all we are to this company, a bottom line. The most disorganized photo service ever. On several occasions, they could not find prints, ask to reprint them, and pass on the burden to other employees. They have piles of photos that have not been enclosed in envelopes laying around. I will not be using this location for it's lack of efficiency. Save your time, head to Walgreens! I come here because it's easy to get to via the bus. It's not my favorite store (staff aren't exactly the friendliest and the prices aren't as good of a deal as say walmart) but it's convenient to buy a couple of things and get out. read more

I went to the cashier in front by the enter/exit door to pay. When I gave her my telephone number so I can get savings using my rewards card for some reason it didn't work. I tried 4 other telephone numbers and they didn't work either. Almost everything I bought had a discount so I really wanted to use my rewards card. I asked for a courtesy card. The cashier said I could only do that at self service. I did not want to use self service and actually could not use self service because I received money from coinstar. You cannot receive money from coinstar at self service. I did not feel that the cashier was concerned enough about my getting my savings so on the way out I addressed the situation to the Manager Nicole who was near the exit door. OMG- she would not let me speak. She was so rude to me. She would not let me explain my situation. She acted as if I was the Manager getting paid to listen to HER. The fact is- as long as I am being polite to her- SHE is the one who is paid to listen to ME. Not vise-versa. She kept going on and on and would not listen to me. As she lectured me she would smile and be super nice to everyone else around me to try to show me that she was such a nice person and to try to show that I was out of line by complaining. Wow! I was in the drive thru for my medication, remembered I needed stamps. I called the store and asked if they sold stamps, they did. I told her I was waiting for my prescription in the drive thru outside and she took stamps to the pharmacy so I could pay and receive my stamps at the drive thru pharmacy! Way cool service!! Didn't have to get out of the car or go to another store!! read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been too. They special order medications and text you as well as call you stating that the meds are ready to be picked up, you get there and it has actually yet to be ordered. When you confront them for you wasted time, the pharmacist has the nerve to have an attitude with you. I am picking up epi pens for a child, not medications that can wait. They have no communication amongst eachother. They have bad attitudes and offer no apologies. They are constantly out of stock of commonly used medications. Please avoid this pharmacy. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. The customer services is less than 1 star. read more

The only reason I come here is because I live 2 blocks away and it's the nearest pharmacy that will fill my 3month Rx refills. Lets start with the store itself. It's a good size cvs, everything seems to always be stocked up, and seems well maintained. As far as the staff, I don't think I've ever seen a staff member smile here. Everyone always looks mad. Whenever I come here I avoid contact with staff so I self checkout. I can care less about CVS staff as long as I get what I need and get out. Pharmacy: lord help this pharmacy. EVERY TIME I get the prerecording call from the pharmacy that my medication is ready, it's never ready! Always have to wait for them to make my medication when I show up. So now I wait a day after getting that prerecording to pick up my Rx. And a specific tech by the name of Malik always gives my mom a hard time when it comes to our meds and insurance. I mean EVERYTIME! He is very unprofessional the way he speaks to customers and has a snotty attitude. Not to mention lazy. We had a number of items to be picked up and got a call that they were ready. We asked for our items and Malik went to go get them. Turns out a few items were not even ordered yet so in efforts to make just one transaction I said I'll be back when everything was ready and he had the nerve to say, "you made me get all of that and your not purchasing them? Called the pharmacy and finally got through to a pharmacy staff member after a 35 minute hold, to check on my refill. I lady told me my prescription (which I have been getting for free for the last year) was $83. It was 100% incorrect, she put me on hold to check and never returned. I hung up after 1hr 10 mins. Similar experiences with all my other calls to this location. Nothing was resolved. Do not waste your time here. read more

My experience has been identical to all the previous YELP comments. If you ever want to experience truly subpar service, check this place out. Let me begin with the technician Nancy and the pharmacist Bong Ho. Not only can you see they have no hint of customer service, their demeanor alone reveals they hate working at CVS. I mean look at the reviews. Nevertheless, I felt moral obligated to share my story and hope to initiate corrective actions. So I just had surgery and was given five prescriptions to take for inflammation, antibiotics, etc. I decided that I should visit CVS to pick up my prescriptions. After waiting in the prescription drop off line for 15 minutes Nancy referred me to the pick up line. Nancy indicated that as she was short staffed only one point of contact could service prescription drop offs. I obliged and agreed to wait at the "pick up line" for an additional 55 minutes to drop of my prescriptions. Note, at this point my pain medications completely wore off. When it was my turn to drop off my prescriptions, Nancy who originally instructed me to go to the Pick up line told me she was unable to log in my prescriptions. Here is where it gets crazy, Nancy unapologetically then told me that I had to go behind a new makeshift line behind two patrons who didn't wait at all. Not only was she rude but she just nonchalantly brushed me off. In a plead for assistance I told her that I had been waiting patiently to drop off my prescriptions. Nancy as unprofessional as she is, said no and instructed me to go behind the line. At this point, I was speechless and frustrated. I demanded that my prescriptions be logged in. Instead of being apologetic the senior staff Bong Ho made it appear I was the individual being irrational and non-justified for my actions. Others who were unable to witness the event could not understand my frustration. To manage the situation, I accepted Bong Ho's service. In response, as Bong Ho took my prescription on the consulting desk, she yelled my my private information so others could hear... (A clear legal violation of HIPAA). Further, rather than apologizing either on behalf of CVS nor her unprofessional staff, she defended her subordinate's action and continued to rationalize Nancy's action. I propose all Yelpers that share my frustration or unprofessional behavior to file a petition to CVS. Let's remedy this chronic subpar service and fix the behind culture of irresponsibility to accountability. My complaint is addressed to the CVS employees Nancy and Bong Ho. read more

Stopped by after a yummy Ramen lunch in Gardena. Stopped by because I desperately needed more V05 conditioner - this stuff is great ladies. And the price cannot be beat ! I came in to a clean store and a beautiful NYX display with a great selection. If you're a make up junkie like me, you know the struggle of trying to get a full range of these cosmetics at a drug store. They are always sold out of the most sought after products. Needless to say, I did not pick anything up - but if you are looking for a large selection of NYX products - come to this CVS. I found everything I needed in a clean and medium sized store. However the lines were a bummer! Only 1 cashier open and all self check outs open, but it was slow. I used the self check out and it was painless. I left the store satisfied with my purchase and plotting my next trip for a huge NYX beauty haul:) Definitely come in, nothing beats friendly service a huge selection of your favorite and needed items. read more

I moved close to this CVS and had other prescriptions filled at my old CVS in Torrance where I use to live. I never, I never thought that I would have to go through so much wait time and not having my prescriptions ready on time. I knew not to go pick up my prescriptions around daytime hours or evening hours, but at 12am?? there is only one girl working the pharmacy and she cannot handle it?? I wait in line for 20 minutes, then give up and decide to go to the drive thru which no cars waiting..then was told she would be there in a minute, well 5 minutes went by, 10 minutes, 15 minutes..then I just gave up, thank God I didn't need this prescription right away, but to think there is no time I can go without a hassle...I miss my old pharmacy, this CVS has the worst service, The last time I was told by my doctor my script was called in and should be ready in one hour.. I went late at night to pick it up, and it wasn't ready!!!, they didn't even fill it, they guy said come back tomorrow!! .....I give up, next time I will wake up at 4am and get my prescriptions-this.CVS 24 hours is a joke, they are slow, not concerned about the wait time, and show no concern if I ran out of my blood pressure or pain meds and have to come back the next day to wait in line all over again....I hate that my insurance chose CVS..I guess I could drive the 10 miles and go back to my old pharmacy that show politeness and care. Maybe this CVS has more business being 24 hours, so many people after 12am....just never thought I would have to wait forever to pick up my prescription after getting a automated call..ha!..how about getting more people to handle the customer overload. read more
