This pharmacy is one of the worst CVS pharmacies in my opinion - and this is me compiling all of my experiences. They often have the drive thru closed without notice which is frustrating when you're just trying to quickly pick up a prescription. When you go inside, it's an even bigger frustration. I once watched one of the pharmacy techs circling around the back -3 or 4 times - checking several bins for someone's prescription. Wasn't ready yet.......... Seems like there is no organization and/or bad leadership in the back. The tone of who I believe to be the head pharmacist is not usually a positive one. The manager of was very rude. She is racist. just because I'm Indian every time I go there, she gives me attitude.. I ask her why she's so rude. She said I know. She doesn't know simple maths. The original price for the cough syrup was 18.99 but the sale price was 12.99 and I had extra bucks for 10.99. She was charging me $7.98. I told her 12.99 - 10.00 comes to$2.99 so why shall I pay 7.98, she got mad and ask her team member to go and take the sign off. I don't think I'll go to this branch. I been going here for 20 years . I never had any staff so rude . Also she was on the phone and nit listening to what I was saying . Why do employees use phone at work hours. Just because she is a manager she has all the authority to do what she wants. Either they change the manger or teach her how to respect human beings. I was at the cvs to return Free Style Libra 3 Plus which was recalled by the manufacture. I also received the the letter from CVS about the recall. The pharmacist name Eman was in charge refused to take it back. There was total 6 sensor which I took on nov 26, 2025 roughly about 12/13 days ago. the seal was not broken. She didn't even bother to explain to me. I was going there for more then 20 years. I will never go to this cvs again. From now on I will either go to walgreens at wallington, costco or walmart. This cvs used to be good recently they don't have product service to very poor. I request the DM to focus on this store. Try to get little experience pharmacist. And better customer care team. read more

The pharmacy is a wreck and no one is paying attention to the customers with Attitude. My physician Calle in a Rx Friday night, so when I went in around 11AM. The medication ordered through h my physician Escribed it it was there Friday night and at 11AM. The technician VENA told me " nothing has been called in " and after I left 20 minutes later called me that the Prescription was not filled , because the pharmacist on duty claims " he did not filled do company regulations that might lead to a lawsuit. Lot of negative reviews here, I see, and in the interests of full disclosure...I don't know if you can call me a "regular customer" although I'm in here a lot. I don't get my prescriptions filled here, I don't develop photos here, I don't buy sleep medication (Unisom) here, or toothpaste, or candy, or magazines, or anything else...in fact, I don't live in the area. But when I drive up to help my birth mother with her laundry (which usually occurs once a month), she invariably stops here on the way to the laundromat in Rutherford, to buy water, vitamins, odds and ends...whatever. I follow her around, carry her bags out to the car when she's done. In all ways, this seems to be like any other CVS anywhere else in the state of NJ. Or in the entirety of the U.S. So why the 5 star rating? Outstanding service. Which can be a tricky thing, I know, rating the service a particular store provides. It's often dependent on the clerk or salesperson or store employee you're encountering and dealing with at any particular moment. I've gone to stores where the clerk is surly, uncommunicative and often seems 1 step away from verbal and/or physical assault (and they're the ones with the tip jar in front of them). When I return a few months later, I encounter a different clerk, one who's friendly, efficient, helpful. I guess employment these days in stores/restaurants/service-industries is a real crap shoot; "You pays your money and you take your chances." Today, we stopped in, and my birth mother bought slippers (in a drug store? Yep...), B12 vitamins for me (maybe I'm not as healthy looking as I thought?), 2 bottles of water. She stopped at the magazine/book section briefly (I saw nothing remotely interesting or engaging on the shelves there, and the only periodical I recognized was People magazine, and...oh!..how horrible People magazine has become over the decades-- back when I was a teenager stealing it...I mean...buying it from stores, it actually seemed to contain substantive stories on national/international events of varying degrees of importance; now it seems devoted exclusively to stories of "celebrities" i.e. overblown nothings I've never heard of or want to, or crime stories involving "beautiful people" with lots of money. Is it me or has the culture declined precipitously? Maybe a little of the former and a lot of the latter. Sorry...my attention tends to wander these days, and I do prattle on obnoxiously about nothing remotely on-topic, alienating any reader looking to see if they should patronize a store/restaurant/local-flavor landmark/business/etc., or not...is it advancing old age?...something I could control with medication?...or was I always such a verbose jerk? Anyway...). At the check-out counter, the clerk was friendly and outgoing, and told my birth mother that there was some sort of sale going on and she was actually entitled to 3 bottles of water instead of 2 for the same price. My birth mother said she'd get the 3rd bottle (located at the opposite end of the store), but the clerk said, "No, it's ok, I'll get it." She was back quickly with the 3rd bottle and rang it up. We made our way out to the car and onward to the laundromat. Before we left, though, I made sure to return the shopping cart back to the inside of the store, as another clerk told me some months back that their carts tend to disappear with great frequency. Hopefully the cart I returned is the one that won't get stolen. One good turn deserves another. I guess the argument could be made that the clerk's action was simply good, helpful service and shouldn't be considered anything extraordinary, or a reason to elevate in my rating what seems to be an average CVS store to a "great!" CVS store. But I encounter so much service that's surly or indifferent or actively hostile and abrasive these days (and I get it; the business paradigm everywhere seems to be to get as much work out of as few people for as little money as possible...what employee wouldn't be a little bit surly or indifferent under those conditions? But, speaking as a customer, a little friendliness, a little bit of not treating the customer like he's your parole officer or the landlord coming to raise the rent, can go a long way...just sayin'...), that exemplary service truly stands out. Even if it's as simple as retrieving a 3rd bottle of water that a customer is entitled to. read more

Then he has the nerve to say I didn't pay for it. He needed to see my receipt not 2 minutes from charging me. Was probably still on his screen. Why do you change someone and then not put it in their bag. I only bought a couple of items.No apology. No admitting he made a mistake. I thought about complaining to the store manager but this older dude with white hair was devoid of giving a dam. Usually they are pretty good here but the old guy at night is a complete idiot. He takes my scripts and says they close in 30 mins and to walk around or wait for my scripts. I waited then all of a sudden he closes all the gates. I can see him thru the holes in the gates and I asked him 3 times what happened and he just ignores me like I can't see him and he can't hear me. I read the reviews for this location but didn't think it was a huge deal as I was just dropping in to grab a pre-ordered magnet and go. Boy was I wrong. After waiting about 5 minutes to even get helped, they retrieved my order and then informed me that they were out of magnets so they could only give me a printed picture. That's not at all what I ordered, and even better, I received an email before I went telling me my order was ready for pick-up. So why am I being informed that my order is complete and ready if it's an incorrect order? I wasted over a half hour on this trip just to get something I didn't want. And I received no help or guidance in getting the product I should have. Now I've been sitting in hold with customer service for over 30 minutes, totaling to more than an hour of my day spent on this insanity. I will not be going back to this location and will heavily consider shopping at any CVS in general if this is the headache it causes to get a simple magnet that I was told they had in stock. read more

This is one of the worst CVS's that I ever dealt with. I have been on hold with the pharmacy for 30 minutes and still haven't talked to anyone. I tried calling the main number and either they pick it up and say nothing or just hang up. I am trying to check on a prescription that supposedly they called me to discuss with me, but needless to say they never did. The only reason to go to this store is for the pharmacy. The rest of the store is a disgusting mess. The shelves are empty, the floors are dirty and the ladies room was deplorable The pharmacy is quick and efficient unlike their competition up the street. Yesterday I was on hold for 30 minutes trying to get in touch with the pharmacy multiple times (total of an hour). I hung up to try to call the front desk to see if they can get me on the line with the pharmacy - they told me they had to put me on hold for a minute and I was on hold for 15 minutes before I finally hung up. I tried again today and was on hold with the pharmacy for 30 minutes - hung up again. Called the front desk and they told me they couldn't help me. So I asked to speak to the manager and finally she helped. How am I supposed to get a refill if I can't get in touch with the pharmacy? I'll be changing my pharmacy ASAP. read more

I've been to several pharmacies in the area & this one is by far the best. I delt with this Pharmacist named Anna, she was EXCELLENT!! ...there was an error with my insurance info in the computer & instead of just giving me the same old Blah, Blah, Blah & not wanting to fix anything... she actually took the time to look into the issue & took care of the problem!! It is very strange that every time the weather gets colder the pharmacy drive thru misteriously breaks down

The call hold time is about 15 minutes which is ridiculous. When the staff does pick up, they answer and then put you on hold again! Terrible terrible terrible! read more

I would give it a 0 if I could. Tried to call the pharmacy and was on hold for almost 2 hours before I just gave up. Have been trying to call for a week trying to get an update on important meds. They don't even answer the phones for doctors either. The pharmacists and assistants are rude when you ask them to use coupons for expensive meds. One pharmacist was disrespectful to an elderly man who did not speak English well and was insulting him thinking that he couldn't understand her. Complete disgraceful customer service. read more

Pharmacy staff is always super nice, informative, and helpful. Line can get a bit long, but if you go off hours it's usually the best time.

I used this pharmacy for 2 years since I get used to use CVS before. First of all, They never answer the phone. One day, you're lucky and they answer but you'll be on hold for 30-40 minutes easy. They even hold doctors phone call at the same manor, I heard from doc. Even at the counter, they always have difficulties to find your prescription. Their text alert never work, not even once.Don't use this pharmacy, find another local pharmacy, seriously. read more

Just made a return here today, had purchased something in New York. The associate gave me the amount back according to NJ tax, which was less than I'd paid in New York. I went back inside to notify him, and he said that he couldn't refund the difference because it was NJ. Called customer service and they said that was completely false. Working in retail, I'm annoyed that someone was too lazy to properly process a return--thank god it wasn't more money. read more

No different from any other CVS; has the essentials, has good deals, has okay hours (not 24 hours though). I haven't used their photo service in years, so I can't speak for that. Their pharmacists are highly helpful; on one occasion a Pharm tech talked me out of one particular medicine because of price and steered me in a better direction. It may be because I only have time to run to the store at night, but every time I go here, they're always vacuuming! At least that means they're clean. read more

I usually like this pharmacy but today was my worst experience yet. I believe her name was Danielle, although I might have mixed it up due to my frustration. I was picking up two prescriptions, one for myself and one for my daughter. I tried to give her both insurance cards but she handed me one back because she was "busy with other things". She was incredibly rude, and I spent an hour attempting to get two things which she kept messing up somehow. This CVS is the worst!! Medication that may be backordered or prescriptions that have not been verified by your doctor will remain in house with no assistance from this Pharmacy i.e. no phone calls to tell you that there is a problem with your order, no follow up phone calls to advise you that the doctor has not sent a prescription or y htt ere was no follow up from the office, you will be placed on hold and left there for an exuberant amount of time. This whole staff needs to be restrained...medication is a necessity that most of us do not want to pay for but, in cases such as myself those who have blood pressure problems need to have prompt service as this is a LIFE SAVING drug that requires you to take it daily!! I would change this phone to see ASAP if it was feasible through my insurance company unfortunately I'm stuck here... read more
