I had a bad experience with this CVS pharmacy. I only received part of the full prescription because they lacked the supply. I was told to come back next day, but I informed them I would be back in 2 days to give them more time to get the meds. When I came in I was told the supplies did not arrive. So what is the point of them having my mobile phone number? I was then sent to another CVS pharmacy where they stated they put a hold on the meds, and i was told to give them an hour to fill the Rx. Generally I wouldn't consider writing a review for a CVS, but a cashier at this location was unprofessional enough to warrant one. I went in today 6/6/21 to buy a water bottle here and an employee named Raymond rang me up. Everything went fine until he gave me my receipt and I said, verbatim, "Thanks man, have a good one!". This man had the audacity to "correct me" and insist that "it's sir, not man." I was shocked that anyone would think saying something like that is appropriate in everyday conversation. I explained that I was speaking colloquially, i.e. not trying to offend anyone by calling them "man" instead of "sir". He told me it was "impolite" and was genuinely angry at me. I was actually pretty impressed at how he managed to turn a straightforward transaction into a show of his asshole behavior. I went into this CVS to buy a bottle of water and behaved very cordially and politely the whole time, but Raymond thought it would be appropriate to give me a lesson on how to talk. I can't really express how upset this made me, but at the end of the day this man probably shouldn't work in retail if he gets offended by normal conversation. read more

The pharmacy really lacks in customer service. It's actually non existent. Went in for pain medication and totally trusted them to give full amount. Was prescribed 30 only received 15. I noticed the pharmacy tech very suspicious but just blew it off. The next day I opened bag and saw bottle very light. And I know for sure nobody else got access to bottle but that suspicious ass tech! Went in to inform pharmacy manager but just blew it off and was in total denial. But oh well it happens when you have feinds working there! But word of advice when in doubt check your bottle and make them recount it! Shame on that pharmacy stealing for a high! read more

Shout out to Pharmacist Christine! I had a nightmare experience with another pharmacy (Walmart). I called CVS pharmacy to see if I could get a prescription filled. Christine was so pleasant! She called that other crappy pharmacy transferred my prescription and it was ready for pick up in about an hour or so. Her customer service skills are exceptional. I love the drive thru. I didn't catch the name of the young man working the drive thru window but he was also very pleasant. Great, timely service! read more

Did not like Maria Serrano's attitude. She was having a pleasant conversation with a male customer before me but it seemed like she didn't want me there, rushed me through checkout even though there was nobody behind me, and didn't even ask for my phone number so I can get my rewards points or use my CarePass. Tried to make a purchase for an item on sale listed on the online ad of CVS and was treated so poorly by Ryan and Sylvia. They tried to tell me the item I was purchasing wasn't the item on the sale ad when it was identical to the ad. See photos for comparison. I wanted the larger doll like in the ad but I was told that it wasn't the doll in the promotion. Ryan insisted the small "petite" doll was the one. He didn't want to "get in trouble" by honoring the price adjustment. His reasoning was he told me that he already honored the price for someone else and couldn't do it for me. I couldn't believe it. This is just the tip of the iceberg. It was so overwhelming to think what made the person before able to get that honored. And then I wondered why the item wasn't pulled from the shelf or an announcement about the error so it would be told to customers. I'm awaiting a call back from the district manager. Sylvia the store manager was lacking empathy and the skills needed to solve issues. read more

they have this lady she wasnt there before, never had any issue with none of the supervisors or cashiers (dont know what she is but she is mega mega annoying ive seen her be very rude with people older folks, like she rushes you through your transactions. so today i got her and she rushed me through my transaction. her name is maria if you get her good luck. not only does she looks like she hates her job she is mega rude, doesnt give you a minute to process anything. so i got some candy to withdraw money there were buy one get one free so she rushed me through the transaction to get to who knows what else she had to do. well they were buy one get one free but because she's going everything to process you and get out of her face so fast she charged me both because my number wasnt entered. whatever didnt want to deal with her attitude so i let it go but she needs to stop. she caught me on a good day, on a bad day i will tell on her because ive seen her rush the elderly too many times as well read more

Very rude employee, I believe her name was something like Sivonney, it started with pressing the help button several times to get assistance unlocking an item and having to wait 30 minutes till she actually came to unlock the item I needed and giving an attitude as if I was a bother to her (I am a manager in retail and that is not how you help your customers). Then going to pay and her speaking to me like a child! I had a few extra bucks on my account I wanted to use, and a coupon on an item I had and was confused on exactly how it worked so she began explaining and speaking as if she were explaining something to a child. I was offended as it was a simple question and honestly just shocked at her behavior! Maybe she was having a bad day but you do not take it out on your customers! I really do not see myself coming back to this location and hope something is done about her behavior as I was not the only person I saw her speak to this way. read more

Just tried to drop my prescription off and the pharmacist wouldn't fill it because I sometimes have it filled at Walgreens too. Walgreens didn't have it which is why I went here. Every other time I have gone between pharmacies I didn't have a single problem. Also, the dude who sent my prescription back (in the drive thru tube) wasn't helpful but rude. DISTRUSTFUL DIRTBAGGERY! The employees in this CVS, at Paramount and Firestone Boulevards, are collectively the most suspicious, distrustful, and discourteous staff that I have ever encountered in a single store or business. Many months ago, I entered the store, and I nodded a hello to one of the clerks, Sam, a female, and she dourly and silently looked me up and down, and as soon as I passed the counter, I heard her voice over the intercom: "Security, direct cameras to section three." There were two other people in the store at the time, both elderly persons browsing about. She obviously thought I was there to shoplift...I thought I'd give her a chance to explain, that perhaps what I felt was not quite what I had experienced. I had a handful of goods I was going to buy. I went up to her at the counter. "How come you asked the cameras to focus on section three, as soon as I walked in? Do you think I'm a shoplifter? If you guys have a theft problem here, you shouldn't visit it upon cash paying customers such as myself..." Sam became defensive and sullen: "You're not the only person in the store..." I replied, "Look here, I walk in, and you immediately request the cameras to be moved. Is this your idea of welcoming good customers? Even if I believe your story that your doing so is a coincidence, your announcing it publicly is completely lacking in hospitality, propriety, and respect for your customers." She ignored me, defiantly asking for my CVS card. I just dumped the merchandise in front of her at the counter and walked out. There is another lady employee in the store, who always wears a white shirt. Her Amazon size, Buster Brown haircut, and her constant stone-faced, grave, and distrustful gazes at my pockets, shoes, and shopping bag (perhaps she sees through canvas?!!) make me think she was once a matron of female prison guards....Today, I desperately needed a six-pack of Coca-Cola, so against my better judgment, l entered the store, knowing one of these people would yet again insult me with their blatant unprofessional job conduct. Sure enough, I encountered the "prison matron" at once, who, in perhaps one of her gayer moods, forced the faintest of grins, while staring inappropriately and suspiciously at my USC shopping bag--my mind's voice was saying, "I carry the bag with me because I prefer to both walk and ride the Downey Link bus line to get about town--is that O-effing-kay with you?" Many Warren High School students were entering the store when I was in line. I noticed the young female clerk kept nervously looking up at each of them. Then she grabbed the microphone: "Security, scan cameras towards sections C and D," or words closely to that effect. That was it. I was done for life. Strike Three for this CVS. There was a Christmas display near the front of the store where I was waiting in line. I tossed the Coke bottles atop it, said to the kid next to me in line, "Man, I'm not comfortable with these people..." And I walked out, never to return. You decent high school kids waiting in line to overpay for a candy bar or more than $2 for a soda, and all the rest of you good and honest customers, I implore you to take your business elsewhere. These employees do not trust you, me, or anyone else, and they do not mind overtly demonstrating it, to our indignity and embarrassment....All I can say to the store's in-house management and district manager is, if you cannot keep your store secure without inflicting indignity and humiliation upon your customers, then just close your doors. read more

I like this CVS. Staff is nice but one of the managers is rude. He's Latino, wears glasses and mumbles when he talks. I was there not too long ago returning something and he looked in a hurry and when I told him.. id like to return this. He asked me in a rude manner, what do you want to do with this? Today I went to the CVS pharmacy to have the second Shingrix vaccine. This anti-shingles vaccine is given in two injections, spaced about 2 - 6 months apart. After my first injection in mid-January, I was told by the CVS pharmacist to return around May 2. After explaining the nature of my visit to CVS today, the surly pharmacist told me that I needed to speak to another CVS employee to be put on a waiting list for the vaccine. I was surprised that CVS did not have the vaccine in stock, but complied with the suggestion to have my name added to the waiting list. During my conversation with this person, I asked for an approximate time frame for receiving the next vaccine. (There is a 6 month window for vaccine effectiveness, and 3 months had already passed.) The CVS employee explained to me that there is a shortage of the vaccine; that the manufacturer had not anticipated the high demand for the product; there was no way of knowing when the vaccine would be available; that all CVS stores were out of the vaccine, but I would get a call when the vaccine became available. This turned out to be a carefully-crafted lie. Furthermore, in a bizarre contradiction, the CVS employee gave me 2 phone numbers for other CVS stores that might have the vaccine in stock. (If there is a company-wide shortage, what good would it do to call these other CVS stores?) My bullshit meter was already twitching, but this put it in the red zone. I called the closest Walmart pharmacy, and here is their response: Product in stock; come in any time before 9 p.m. & we'll take care of you. (Very nice pharmacist named Andy) In 15 minutes I had the vaccine injection. No problems, no grief over insurance forms, just efficient and pleasant people who got the job done. 5 stars for Walmart, 0 for CVS. read more

The pharmacy tech's have terrible customer service. My doctor called and faxed my prescription into this pharmacy but when I called to find out if it was ready for pick up, considering that my doctor had faxed it in three days prior, the pharmacy tech said she had to call my doctors office to find out additional information regarding the dosage. Sooooo......the prescription sat there for three days without anyone taking the initiative to call my doctors office prior to me calling in????? When I asked the girl why hadn't anyone called my doctors office prior to me calling the pharmacy she said she did not know. I asked her if someone was going to call the doctors office to get the information they need and the girl said if I wanted her to she would?????? It was clear she did not want to be bothered with a ridiculous thing like doing her job unless she was forced to. What made it even more ridiculous is that it was only 9:15am (they just opened) and you're tired already!!! They really need to work on their customer service skills. read more
