Worst pharmacy ever!!! They have hung up on me twice this morning. They hardly ever answer the phone. They have shorted my medications a few times. So count your pills. First it was 17 out of 120. Then 47 missing out of 120. I should switch but they carry one certain medication that other pharmacy's don't. The staff is overwhelmed and are trying when i come in i see why they don't answer but i think they want everyone to do the medical stuff online. They do keep count somehow because the 3 times i caught the missing medication they apologized looked at something and told me to come pick up the rest of my medication. I am wondering how many times did they take 1 or 2 that i may have missed before whomever actually got caught. read more

After having a hard time finding this location, we found it. Heads up, the zip code is 80212 not 80235, like the website says. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly associate (Sarah). The store is very clean and organized, Sarah and Desirae made my CVS experience pretty enjoyable. I was just here to pick up photos ordered online and did a little more shopping. I like this pharmacy a lot more than Walgreens! It's way bigger with way more variety and selection! Even the gifts are better! The location is great but pulling into the parking lot can be a bit tricky! I advise you use the alley entrance on 38th to get in! If you try to pull in off Sheridan you might get upset at all the people who won't let you cross! Not even kidding, that intersection is a zoo during most times of the day! read more

This location is my second choice after leaving CVS Target on Sheridan Blvd for their incompetence. This location employs the rudest employees with a pharmacist who doesn't know how to complete Auto-Refills. Pretty basic procedure which happens thousands of times a day at other CVS pharmacies in Denver. If any one likes their Pharmacy, please let me know. AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!! My previous experience at CVS on Gartrell rd in Aurora 80016 was amazing ...NEVER had any problems and they are extremely friendly there. Up until tonight, I would have at 3 stars. Prior to the past few months, I would have even felt comfortable giving a strong 4 star rating. Pharmacy service has been deteriorating on shifts other than day shift. Tonight was abysmal. In fact, I have been notified that they no longer want my business. I have been 86'd from a drive thru pharmacy!! Brock (the pharmacist) appears to be very delicate and overhearing my comment "idiots" as I drove off hurt his little feelings. I travel for a living ... I drive an 18 wheeler. Sometimes I am out for over a month. It is imperative that I leave with adequate prescriptions to cover at least 4 weeks. It isn't easy to take a tractor trailer through a drive through!! My previous career was in health care, specifically, mental health care. I am educated and usually polite to a fault. Tonight pushed me beyond my limits. Well, Brock pushed me beyond my limits and I did, in fact, say "idiots" although my face was turned toward the middle of my car so I was very surprised that he could hear me. He had a lot of trouble hearing, understanding and responding to me when I was facing him. I was not wearing a mask as we were at least 6 feet apart. Guess his hearing is poor and he doesn't read lips. I am not going to bore you with all the particulars of the transaction that caused so much mutual frustration. I had talked to the pharmacy staff by phone earlier in the day, confirmed that all my meds were available for pick up. I further checked their website and saw they were "ready for pick up". It wasn't true. The young lady appeared to be new and trying very hard to be helpful. In short, meds were not ready. Brock got involved and the interaction began a death spiral. Meds not ready. No apology for their mistake. Yep. He is a idiot and their computer system is created and run by idiots. I did use a rather crass profanity as I left. Literally twice this week had to wait over 2 hours for a prescription In the parking lot as I don't live close to this location. And then once you complain enough they'll expedite it. I've never called into a pharmacy saying I have an emergency prescription needing filled, I submitted it four days ago, why has it not been filled... and get the following answer: "sorry we can't fill it until we talk to your doctor" - well that's why I filled it four days ago. It's been authorized. The next 48 hours are going to be pretty miserable since there's apparently nothing they can or want to do, so here's your 1 star review for 1 star customer service. read more

after many visits moving prescriptions to a new pharmacy. Last straw was picking up a prescription at 6pm, I'm sure because they were short staffed because why pay someone a wage they can actually live off of when corporations can just complain that no one wants to work! Yeah, that's it! So then to pick up my prescriptions and I had to wait 40mins in the drive thur line which is just ridiculous when there was only five cars in front of me. The only good thing about this CVS is it's hours. I have been texted that my prescription is filled and gone there to find out that it is not on multiple occasions, causing me to have to sit there for another 30 minutes or come back another day. The pharmacists working the drive thru are incompetent and slow. Expect to wait in line at least 30 minutes just to be told they don't have your prescription ready and then have to wait even longer. Chad, the store manager, is specifically the reason I am writing to tell you how awful my experience was. On my way in to the store, I read multiple signs informing the customers of items they are out of currently (masks, hand sanitizers, etc). I read this thoroughly because there are a few related items I am interested in acquiring, but notice that none of the items on their list match with my list. I then head to the cleaning supplies department to shop for disinfecting bleach wipes. While shopping, I notice advertisements all over this section for buy one, get one 50 % off. I'm thinking great, a deal I could use. Yes please. In walks Chad. Chad informs me that they have more wipes up front if they don't have what I'm looking for. They did indeed have what I was looking for, so no need for this service, but appreciated. I grab the two packs of wipes that are advertised as buy one, get one 50% off and continue shopping. At this point, Chad verbally informed me that there is a limit of 1 per customer. I mention the advertising listed throughout this entire section. I also mention that there are ZERO signs posted indicating a limit of 1 pack per person. Chad smuggly smiles and informs me there's nothing he can do about it. I ask for the manager. Of course Chad is the manager. I continue shopping and notice the same offer on items in many other sections of the store. When asked if this was all false advertising as well, Chad informs me that it depends on the item... Again, false advertising all over! My main reason for coming was prescription medicine. I now head to the pharmacy for this. I'm the only customer back there. 2 pharmacists who I'm certain would have been more helpful than Chad are busy, so Chad continues to torment my day. I have my ID and insurance card out and in hand. Chad is either oblivious or willfully negligent as he then asks for my name and date of birth, then proceeds to try to charge me the non insured price for the medication. With my insurance card, still in hand, Chad finally gets his head just slightly far enough out of wherever he would rather keep it, just long enough to comprehend that I've got my insurance card out and available). My expectation is that it would be standard to ask customers if they have insurance before automatically trying to charge them more than double. My expectation is that if you are advertising a product as buy one, get one 50% off, you would honor that when someone tries to buy it. My expectation is that if you're limiting the amount of product someone could purchase, this would be clearly stated (much in the same way they listed products they were out of on the door). Are these expectations too high? I say no. read more

I come here to refill any meds I need. The pharmacy frequently doesn't have one of them and has absolutely no way to waitlist you for it. You have to keep calling everyday. It's completely absurd and I will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere going forward. I don't understand how this level of poor customer service is allowed to exist at such a large chain. read more

This pharmacy is filled with incredibly stupid who are usually incredibly high on their own wares. How do I know the flavor choices of medicines better than the people CVS exploits to be there day in and day out? What sort of weird ass pharmaceutical cocktail are you on where you think lemon lime and bubblegum mixed together is in any way palatable to a 2 year old? It was literally easier to get an entire other prescription from my doctor than to have to try to explain for the third time how to not be stupid to a vessel trying to collect the highest minimum they can. Unfortunately, these people perfectly exemplify why the push to automate the most menial of tasks out of the hands of the inept is so important. This store is supposed to be open 24 hours a day, and the pharmacy is supposed to be open until 8pm every day. My husband went there at 5pm today (Sunday) to pick up an important prescription and found the store and pharmacy closed with a handwritten note over the door. Technicians are extremely rude. When inquiring about not be able to get my medication the technician told me I should go to another pharmacy. I told him your answer is to go somewhere else? And he told me "they are the busiest CVS in Denver and he wasn't going to sugar coat it". Absolutely disgusting to talk to customers this way. Poor and dangerous medication education. I picked up a medication for an allergic reaction I was having and when I asked the pharmacist about how to take it as it was a new prescription, she told me "there's directions on the box" I asked if I should start the first dose tonight with one pill and continue the rest of the pills tomorrow she said "yeah you could if you wanted. Might keep you awake." I took one pill and have steadily gone downhill since. I called another pharmacy and they were shocked. I was supposed to have taken all 6 pills at once because one pill would have done nothing. I'm still sitting here with an awful allergic reaction and prolonging this experience by a whole day now. This is dangerous. Who knows how many other people this could happen to. Not only was the experience I had horrible. The tech didn't say when the prescription was ready even though she had for all other prescriptions. I waited 45 minutes to get my prescription that had been ready for 30 minutes. The pharmacist there didn't put in the correct insurance and took my phone to the back to put in my insurance card (because I only had the online version) she then gave poor medication directions and didn't even give my phone back. I had to ask for it back. Bottom line is: DON'T GO HERE IT'S DANGEROUS read more

This pharmacy is terrible. They never have the medication in stock. They will do partial fills but this one I time when I was going out of town. They had me call my insurance for a vacation approval, I got the approval was told to pick up rx in 1-2 hours. I called if it was ready and no; out of stock. This is unacceptable and they don't care. I thought I would give this store a chance since it is brand new - BIG MISTAKE. Not only is there very limited products, the service was horrible. I needed a box of protein bars and they only had singles on the shelf. The manager said that the boxes were sold as individuals. I asked if they could sell them as a box, manager refused. brand new place but nothing special. went to pick up some photos and i was a little confused since there wasn't a photo sign anywhere. the photos were fine and ready for pick up. i also went there to get a flu shot. i went to the pharmacy and checked in. then waited. and waited. and waited. finally i was called to sign a few things and get my shot. i don't know why it took so long. i'll go somewhere. read more
