I went in to deposit money at 10:15. They told me sorry we can't do that we already counted the cash drawer, we close at eleven. I'm in the service industry this doesn't make sense. You do that at the end of the night. I think this cvs employees are voiding any transactions that get paid in cash at the end of the night. The pharmacy team at this location is the absolute worst. I have automatic refills on one of my prescriptions and wasn't notified that there was a delay at all. I tried to get my prescription moved to another location that had it in stock last minute (because no one wanted to tell me) and they wouldn't help me find a location at all. Any time I have gone by to pick up a prescription I have been met with sour attitudes and the worst customer service. I get it, you hate your job... but that's not my fault. I have always tried to approach with kindness because I'm sure they get a lot of frustrated customers but even being kind they treat you like garage. Last time I was picking up I said hi to the man at the window because he had mad a statement but he looked at me and told me to hold on then he had turned back to me and said something that I thought was in my direction (bc I'm in the drive thru) and he told me that I needed to calm down... I guess he was on the phone but he wasn't holding the phone? All I said was that I was picking up... I'm so fed up with this location that it's ruined CVS as a whole for me. This is my first time to came here at 7:30pm on Oct 2, 2023.They need to train cashier for customer services before let the guy (retail cashier) work. How come he made me waited for 1 hour on the line for check out. He was so rude. He seems does not like to work there at night shift. If you are not happy please do not go to work because you will give the customers nervous and high temperature. I will call CVS Customer service line to put complaining about him. Everyone wants to use their local pharmacy. Will happily travel further to stay from these rude disrespectful people. Was told multiple times over the course of an hour and a half "oh it looks like it's not ready. Give us 15 minutes." Heard that line from 3 different people. When the 3rd person said that I said. I feel like no one truly knows the status of my medicine because everyone says the same thing and I've been waiting for an hour after "just 15 minutes." Got all sorts of lip service and attitude after pushing back to get clarity. It's blatantly obvious the staff is SO busy and understaffed and Has no idea how to treat or talk to their customers as a result of overreacting due to high stress. This location needs to closed down. The pharmacy staff and team that worked today in CVS today were awful. I've never experienced service so bad in my life. I arrived at 10:12am for a 10:30am Covid test and Aster had be waiting in the drive thru until I got out my car and knocked on the window. By 10:50am the pharmacy team said the I had to book another about and drive around because they couldn't figure the system out. Another pharmacist stated that I selected to many insurance policies when I booked my appointment which is BS because the system only allows for one insurance company to be selected at a time. I ended up going in to speak with the manager on duty for the store. After manager spoke with the pharmacist he told me that I was better off going to another location due them not being able to figure it out. Another seasoned gentleman ended up leaving because he felt his blood pressure going up from waiting for service. Whatever you do, DO NOT go the this location. The CVS pharmacy team on 7979 BELTLINE ROAD, DALLAS, TX 75254 helped me and had me in and out and less than 5 minutes. read more

The pharmacy is horrible. I have been on hold for 20 mins--then hung up to call back and was on hold another 10 and then they hung up on me. Called back and I've now been on hold again for 15 mins and still waiting. I have now driven up here and am waiting to see if they answer the phone or get me in the drive they lane faster. This is the last time we will use not only this CVS...but CVS period. Not even talking about my own medications, this is the 4th time my children have had to go without their medicine they take at school. They need it daily. The pharmacist told me that our doctor was to blame for only calling in one refill instead of both, and that they would have my daughter's medicine in an hour and a half...then I just got a call saying that they don't have her medicine at all. We are done with the lies, the blaming and overall ineptness and unprofessionalism this company operates with. Don't screw with my children's health. While I never did see the Food Trucks I did visit the CVS, lol! The store is just finishing a major upgrade to the cosmetic area and I think customers will enjoy the results. I don't really hit CVS very often, especially to shop. Most of the time, I just use the drive thru to drop off & pick up my prescriptions, so I avoid the inside altogether. This weekend, I actually ventured indoors because I needed to wait to pick up some medicine & thought I should snag a few items while I was there. I deal mostly with the pharmacy folks, who are generally helpful & friendly. I wish they were open more hours (definitely not 24 hours like the store inself), but I'll take what I can get. I was afraid trying to pick up a prescription on a Saturday might get tricky, but as luck would have it, they weren't incredibly slammed with customers. I was quoted a wait time of 15 minutes, so I proceeded to wander around the store for my random shopping endeavor. Sure, some of their prices are a bit high, but I was surprised at the variety of stuff they carried. I even managed to get chicken broth here (hello sore-throat curing soup!) & could have had all kinds of wacky personal care products if I had felt so inclined. I also was able to move throughout the store without being bothered much, which was nice. I don't think I'll come back in for shopping purposes unless I'm in dire need, but it's nice to know that there are options. Thirteen minutes later, I was paged to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine. Gotta love the speedy service! A few scans of the register & a swipe of my card & I was set to go. I skipped on out of there with plenty of stuff to kick my illness smack in the face & it wasn't as painful of an experience as I expected. Thanks, CVS :) read more

This may the the worst CVS Pharmacy I've ever been to. As I waited in line the person in front of me was asking why her prescription was not ready even though she got 3 phone calls to pick it up, then I asked to pick up mine and I was told they just received it (a lie, it was sent the day before) and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I come back after 30, and now I'm told it'll be ready in 30 minutes!?! As I decided to go through the drive through I told them I'll wait right here, blocking access and giving them a little extra "motivation". After another few minutes the pharmacist comes back and says we don't have the ingredients to fill your prescription!!! I went inside to complain to the manager who took me to the pharmacy manager. Now I'm told they can "emergency expedite it" and I can come back tomorrow. I'm going to Walgreens, thank you very much. On my way out another gentleman approached me and said he's about to do the same as he's had multiple issues here as well. Added note: they had 5 people working so it was not like they were understaffed. My advice: stay away from this CVS. read more

NOTICE: This review is for the FOOD TRUCK location that takes place here at the CVS Parking Lot on Thursday evenings (5-8 PM). Vendors include the Tin Star Taco Taxi, Eat Jo Dawgs and My Cupcake Garden. Tin Star Taco Taxi truck...super friendly & fast....should have gotten dyes napkins!! Super packed tacos and very fresh tasting. Grilled Chicken Club Taco - delish! smoked bacon, chipotle sauce, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo. Loved the sauce and the bacon set it off. Grilled Chicken Number 9 - roasted garlic, red onion jalapeno blend, sweet potato straws, jack cheese. Not so much a fan of the red onion jalapeno blend....it had a "pickled" taste to it (note: I like dill pickles, but not pickled foods if that makes sense, and it tasted like the onions and jalapenos had been pickled). The sweet potato straws were the saving grace on this and there were plenty to snack on before digging into the actual taco. The Tin Star guy was super friendly and kept up a conversation while they prepared my food in the back. Probably took less than 2 minutes to get it all put together. I was tempted for a cupcake but resisted. All in all, a great stop for some filling and fresh food.....from a truck! read more

I mostly come here for the pharmacy. The Rx team has always been friendly and helpful, the only downside is that it seems they are overworked which means a wait much of the time (but seems to be improving). One star off is because several times I have been in the store part (as opposed to just getting a script filled) and employees that are present have not been trained on how to do certain things (such as photo kiosk / passport photos) and although they try to get help, no one comes to assist and I am forced to go elsewhere (despite someone who genuinely wants to help and just doesn't know how to). I love being greeted and acknowledged when walking into the store, and basically every interaction I have had with employees has been a positive one. read more

This pharmacy has some customer service issues - I'm done with them. They filled my prescription in separate smaller vials because the requested size vial was out of stock. They didn't bother to inform me of this until I got to the register and the cost was over double what it should have been. Their response was that I needed to call around to other CVS locations to find the proper prescription. I asked them to do it, and they said they would do so and call me - which they did not. I called another CVS 3 miles away and they had it filled for me in an hour. I have never had a good experience at this location and would dump CVS completely if my prescription coverage wasn't through CVS/Caremark. Walgreens on Beltline and Montfort is much better. read more

It was hard for me to even give this store one star, but it's required. The people that work here go way beyond poor manners. They are rude, lazy and completely lack basic customer service in all departments of their store. You have to ask them 4 or 5 times for anything to ever get done (I.e automatic refills on prescriptions). Whenever they mess up, which is a lot, they act as if you're the bad guy. I even had the checkout clerk try and talk badly on another customer with him! The management really needs to get this stores customer service in check! read more

This is perhaps the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. I've given this particular pharmacy 3 tries and each time my experience was horrible. Each time I was helped by a young woman (not going to say her name as not to embarrass her directly), not only does she have the personality of wet lettuce and consistently stands around with her mouth hanging open, but tonight she told me they "forgot to fill my perscription" which was called in by my pharmacist over an hour ago. The gentleman waiting next to me also states his "...perscription was called in at 1:35pm this afternoon for his son, it's now 7:57pm and they still haven't gotten it filled." I've been waiting here with the same 5 individuals for over 35 minutes. The customer service here is horrid. I will never have another perscription filled here again. Meanwhile, another female pharmacy tech is whining about how she wants to leave and go home. Oh the joys of CVS...trust me, you'd be better off getting your scripts filled somewhere else! read more

This CVS is the worst pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune of using. I literally drove 14 miles round trip to the one in Highland Park, good people, just to avoid them. I will be using the Walgreens at Montfort and Beltline. They understand customer service. Treat people with respect. I'm sorry for CVS as a whole that they have this store as a giant puss infected pimple on their namesake. Multiple pharmacists here have flat out lied to me about medications. They make up whatever lie they can come up with to get you to switch to the generic - which they get compensated higher on. First off they are not doctors and don't have prescribing authority. So here is an example, I went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription I had been on for 3 months- this was a refill. I got a text on my phone saying it was ready to pick up. I drove up asked to pick up my script that was ready she rattled off the BRAND name I had taken for months I signed - then she handed me the script and it was the GENERIC! First off, that's not what i wanted, nor did she ask if she could switch me to that. I immediately caught it before I drove off and told her I wanted the Brand i had been on for 3 months. She said " ok i'll have to return it then" ok lady you messed up return it. So she proceeds to tell me to circle around the building a few times because she gets " dinged" if i sit there too long- also there were no cars behind me! So i complied mainly because I was in shock that this lady was having me do this.... all while she messed up. After the 3rd circle i pull up again. She tells me the computer messed it up- the generic is the same thing blah blah blah - 20 minutes later I have my script. Do not use this place - they do not care about what's best for patients only THEIR bottom dollar. read more

Horrible customer service. I just moved to this area and went to this CVS with my service dog. The first employee who saw me smiled and asked me how I was doing today. I got to the aisle for the stuff that I needed and a lady, who I assume was the manager, immediately told me I couldn't have a dog in the store. I politely told her that my dog is a service dog. She then requested to see "the thing" which I'm assuming meant my documentation. Per Texas law, she legally cannot request this. I told her it was in my car (which it was) but she just continued on to say that the store would "be shut down if they have animals in there". While I understand that stores have rules, employees must be trained and prepared for how to respond to customers with service animals. I am very disappointed and disheartened by this experience and will not be using this location in the future. read more

After reading the other reviews, I have to disagree. I was helped by Titi, a Pharmacy person. She was exceptional in helping me with my prescription needs. She was able to advise me and took care of getting me the best prices for my 3 meds. Thank you very much for all your help today! I'll be back for sure. I will be moving all of my prescriptions from CVS and i will not be returning for my pharmacy needs. i have consistently had problems with CVS from the time they merged with my former company until now. The bad experience is not isolated to just this location but this visit was the final straw. I dropped off a new script with a pickup time of 4:00 PM. i was late leaving work and did not arrive until 5:30 PM. I went through the drive-thru to pick up my script. When i initially pulled up i was told that my script was not ready and they needed 5 more minutes. I then proceeded to say you've had an additional 1.5 hours. She then said i will get your script ready now. I waited 5 minutes and then she comes back and says that they are out of stock--WTW! At this point, i am finished and my relationship with you is over please return my script. 5 minutes later she finally returns with the scrip. I drove down the street to Walgreen's and had my script filled in 15 minutes. I am upset with myself because my 1st instinct was to not go to CVS. read more

I am not getting my meds from this location ever again. My husband got his meds wrong every sjngle time, he had to go back n forth until they closed and they still didn't get it right. I went to get a medication, and my doctor said with my insurance will be not expensive but the lady comes back to me after waiting 20 minutes --while my doctor already sent the med but cvs said "no they didn't et the med" so I waited and waited till they got their act together-- she said my med is more expensive than I thought. I called my doctor and he called my insurance and said impossible go to another pharmacy. The cvs lady still saying I have to pay more while insurance and doctor are saying it's not that expensive. I got my med from another cvs. I come this one for convenience of commute but never ever again. They can't get anything right. read more

This CVS is the WORST. After 10 years of going to this store, I transferred all of my prescriptions from here to Walgreen's a little over year ago. The reasons for this are namely because the staff at this store are rude, lazy and at times hostile. The turnover in employees is sky high. Because of this the employees do not know their regular customers and treat everyone as if they are a criminal. I now go to Walgreen's and hear a friendly hello when I enter the store, can ask for assistance and receive it in the most helpful way, the pharmacy personnel are knowledgeable a friendly and when you leave you get a smile and Be Well. Today I stopped in CVS because I literally was driving past it and needed a tobacco product. Of course the young woman was someone I did not recognize. After the way I was treated by her I will NEVER step foot in this CVS again. It reeks of a pervasive lack of customer service. Walgreen's is like your neighborhood store where customers are appreciated. read more
