I patronized the new Dougherty's location on Sunday afternoon to pick up a prescription. Did not come here to have their political opinions shoved in my face. Who the heck thinks displaying this sort of signage to customers is a good idea? First of all, in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, life comes first. Life should be sacred, and there's nothing wrong with being a little extra cautious when we can do so. Second, the painting of mask mandates as an affront to freedom is unfortunate. Where is the activism against seatbelt laws or food safety requirements? There is so much ridiculous government overreach and invasion of privacy these days and somehow certain people have let themselves be persuaded that masking up during a highly contagious viral pandemic is the hill to die on from a freedom standpoint. A pharmacy, of all places, should be embarrassed to approach the issue in this way. Be smarter than this... If you don't want to mandate masks, you don't need any sign at all. Just let us be free and do what we're going to do without vomiting your foolish political messaging onto us. I went through surgery and had a Xanax prescription prescribed by my doctor that deals with my anxiety depression and I have a different doctor. My doctor sent in a prescription on Friday morning. I called Dougherty's Saturday morning to ask if it is ready for pickup. They said, "sorry, we can't get that medication because of the shortage ". They received the prescription 24 hours ago and DID NOT call to tell me they can't get it, and now the doctor's office is closed for the weekend. What happened to the hometown customer service that Dougherty's used to be known for? Of late they are as bad as any CVS and Walgreens with smaller inventory and horrible phone renewal system. You order on line, wait a few days, go in and they never got the order. Get your prescriptions filled here ONLY if you love standing in long lines, getting your medicine, then arriving home only to find that Dougherty's didn't give you the complete prescription, so a second trip and standing in another line will be necessary (remember, they never answer the phone, so calling's a waste of time). Once you've stood in line for a second time, the pharmacy assistant informs you (as they should have done in the first place) that the rest of the script is on order, so Trip #3 is in your future. Location is near my office making it convenient to pickup prescriptions. However, you can see on any given day at least a dozen (12) people behind the counter doing various tasks; I've had enough time to count each visit. They will look at you and then go back to their task; neglecting the counter. You might have one (1) person keeping an on the counter but nobody steps up as the line gets longer. Last time in their system was down too so I was charged $12 for two (2) pills. I looked it up later and a 30 count of pills is less than $6 so I was massively overcharged. They have alot of stuff. yeah... stuff. They have medical supplies that places like Eckerd's or CVS wouldn't normally carry... a cool little gift area with very unique items... and a very helpful staff. Sent on a Wednesday, here it is Saturday over two weeks later. They kept stringing me along with it will be ready tomorrow, then day after tomorrow, then next week. I finally called the manager who assured me it would be ready for me yesterday. I called again as it approached closing time and no one in the lab would answer the phone. read more

It never takes me more than 5 minutes to pick up a prescription. During the remodeling process and what seems like a management change, things have gotten remarkably better! Go anywhere else for compounding rather than here. They put you off, ignore refill requests and then do not have the Rx ready when they say they will. I'm still waiting 2 weeks after submitting a refill request and they cannot even offer a reason for the delay besides "we are working on it." After several instances of this, two doctors in particular started documenting what they've sent over. The problem is Dougherty's. Tonight was the final straw.
