On the phone, they tried to convince me that since they do not get any money from the state or insurance for the program I am on that the Pharmacy Itself charges as $5 FEE and then IN return gives it to charities. So the $5 is NOT A COPAY because it is Not being requested by any insurance company or the state program that I am on. The $5 is Solely being requested by Broadway Pharmacy itself and no other entity. SO QUITE LYING to your customers trying to call it a copay of any sort. This again just shows how pathetic you are and trying to lie to cover your backside. $5 may not seem like a lot to most everyone but to me it is. I do not have a job due to my health. Live with a mom who is on social security/limited funds etc and we have to watch Every penny we spend. So being charged $5 and being told (after verifying with the state and my local case worker that my plan Has Zero CoPays At All) is Infuriating. And IF you charge a Fee that is not being charged by the insurance or covering program it it also against the the law. I may just press charges to bring about a review of all your records and see just how many people you are actually committing this offense against. In our phone conversation the pharmacist tried to convince me the charge was because they do not get money from the state for me to be able to pick up my medicine there. So instead the pharmacy on their Own Accord Charges a $5 FEE that they Just Call a copay but the pharmacy donates that money to a charity. If I had an extra $5 I should be the one choosing where it is spent. I will Absolutely be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. You are a Sad, Pathetic person and got caught literally Stealing from your customers and no matter how you try to lie and make it sound excusable you can't. My body may be failing me but my mind is fully intact and understands complete LIES when being told. If you are so upset about not making any money by offering the state program THEN Remove your pharmacy from being a participating provider. UNETHICAL PRACTICES. I found this pharmacy as it was on an approved list thru the State Program I use that provides my medication free They had issues figuring out how to work with the state causing my meds to end up a week late. The BIGGEST ISSUE is that they charged me twice for my medicine when I knew they shouldn't be I literally HAD to have it. After contacting my case worker, it was verified that the pharmacy was Not supposed to be charging me. The 3rd time I went in they tried charging me again, I advised them of what my caseworker said and that if they had a question to either call him or the state program to verify it. The cashier tried getting a hold of the pharmacist and was unable to so therefore gave me my meds for free as they should have to begin with. At that point I called my caseworker once again and advise that I just wanted a new pharmacy as these people seem to be very shady. I would absolutely not recommend going to this place and if you do I would make sure if you're on any type of assisted program that they are not even charging you $5 because depending on the program they may be charging you money and basically stealing it from you if you're not supposed to be paying at all. Shame on you Broadway pharmacy.

The ONLY reason I go here is because they seem to be the only pharmacy around who can get the meds I need during a nationwide shortage. I was told to call her insurance toll free member to confirm coverage, Once I verified, I could fill the prescription at this location. I had to return home to make the call. After waiting on hold for 35 minutes, I was able to verify coverage. They transferred her prescription to Walgreens and I was able to pick up her three medications just 15 minutes before closing time. BCBS informed me that the Walgreens counter person had the ability to verify insurance coverage in seconds. Instead, I had to deal with another millennial who gleefully outlined in excruciating detail why he could not help me directly. In the time he told me no he could have simply verified BCBS insurance coverage. The pharmacist on duty noticed but simply ignored the lack of customer service. It is always a pleasure picking up my medications from her. She always takes an interest in my health at each visit and takes time from her busy schedule just to have a nice conversation. My first experience solidified my plan to never go to CVS or another pharmacy again. We were in and out in under 5 minutes--it's like hitting a small lottery when you have a sick toddler in tow, and I love it even more that he's located directly across from our pediatrician's office within the same building (we go to Richardson Pediatrics). I haven't seen a sign for it from the outside, so it's not obvious from the street. It's located inside a one story brown building on the northeast corner of Arapaho and Floyd, along with a lot of pediatrician offices. Once you step foot inside, you'll see clear "pharmacy" signs. You can tell he's working hard to build his business and to make it succeed by offering services like free delivery within a 3 mile range. He also mentioned if I were in a real emergency and needed to get something filled, I can try calling him, too--something you won't get with the larger pharmacies. A&E Community Pharmacy is the place our family will go from now on, and I hope it succeeds.
