Walgreens pharmacy in garland is the best pharmacy in the world you always get ur medicine on time and great customer service

The service at this particular Walgreens pharmacy is absolutely ABYSMAL. That goes for phone calls as well as in person. The wait times are completely absurd. This is also one of those places where the workers are really terrible at acknowledging that they know you're there & waiting & assuring you they'll be with you as soon as they can. They just avoid eye contact completely until you're the next one at the window or register...and maybe not even then. Absolutely horrible customer service skills. The ONLY reason I go here is because they seem to be the only pharmacy around who can get the meds I need during a nationwide shortage. Come to think of it they probably always have some in stock because everyone else hates coming here. As soon as the shortage is over, I'm out! read more

I was there yesterday and I heard an older lady fall and the male worker that was there did nothing to help her up. All he did was look at her. I saw two young ladies helping her up. I tried to help as well but I turned the isle too late. But based on seeing this experience I'm rating this location a one stare. read more

This pharmacy failed to get my family member vaccinated here. The pharmacy called at 2 to ask us to come in earlier than the 4:20 vaccination appointment because the Moderna shot expired at 3:20. I was driving and missed the call. I still tried to get there in time when I got the message and was told on the phone Pfizer as available if the other one was too late. Got there at 3:30 and was told both were expired. They acted like it was our fault even though we were there an hour earlier than our appointment. It is their job to prepare shots for appointments and not waste them. We went to Fair Park and got the last shot appointment of the day with friendly, caring ,and efficient service from unpaid volunteers and military even though they administered thousands of shots. read more

I went in tonight getting an emergency phone charger... when I was trying to check out I know this younger girl saw me, but didn't move... I asked then, if she could check me out? She finally moved, but by the time she got to the check out counter, was so incredibly rude and obviously didn't want to be the check me out, nor gave a shit and was so rude. I run teams of 40 people and if you you have people that treat customers like that on your team, I won't continue to shop there and her name started with an "A", Anita or something, but she worked tonight. So rude and how she treated me..... unacceptable. And she didn't care when's asked her name and continued to not care.... read more

Literally the slowest pharmacy ever. They refuse to help more then 1 car at a time. Tell me my son's prescription's will be ready in 30 minutes. I wait 45 and then no it's not until tomorrow, then no it'll be 15 minutes and loop around but there's 7 cars behind me. No I refuse to loop back around when it should have been ready an hour ago! read more

Do not waste your time or money in this store full of ineptitude. Going in is a time suck but waiting outside in the pickup line is worse. I wish I had all of my time back that I've wasted waiting in the store, waiting in the drive through and renewing prescriptions on line. After yet another screwup today I am done. I'll go without my prescriptions before I'll ever waste time in this store again. This store obviously has problems hiring qualified staff and management. Never again, Walgreens. Awful customer service. Don't even try to buy anything on clearance because it is going to ring up full price and then they say oh a customer must have put it there. Nope not on sale at all. There are many benefits to developing a deep level of patience. You can for example, paint a ceiling in Italy, build a cathedral like Westminster Abbey, or get your medication from this Walgreens. Don't want to achieve inner peace by waiting in one of three chairs that passes for a waiting room in this place? You could drop off her perspiration and pick it up, several hours later. The Pharmacist is knowledgeable and nice enough, it just takes them forever to get anything done. If you need to talk to a Pharmacist, I suggest you drive not even a mile down the street to the Garland Independent Pharmacist. The gentlemen there was extremely helpful and his meds cost less than those at Walgreens. For the rest of the store, it will do. It's within walking distance of my house and they are ALWAYS OPEN. If I expected good service at 2 am, I really am delusional. read more

Not sure if there was just a ton of people's prescriptions that needed to be filled at 8pm on a Sunday or they are just really slow. This is not the Walgreens I regularly go to. & the one I usually do I've never waited over 20min. The wait time is 1 and a half hours. I'm so confused read more

I love this Walgreens, everyone is very friendly and professional. I have never waited to be checked out or with help at the pharmacy longer thatn 5 to 10 minutes. I get my flu shots here every year and have gotten my pneumonia shots here as well. Always a very pleasant visit. read more

Came in yesterday morning to order pictures and process them through the machine and was told by a female associate that they would call me when they were ready. Never got a call yesterday so I called this morning and spoke to John who stated that they're not supposed to call and let you know your pictures are ready you're just supposed to know. That is not with the computer tells you when you place the order and I told him that and instead of realizing that a customer would of course not know when pictures are ready he argued that it was not the stores job to callA customer and less they special request it. I asked to speak with the manager about him and I got put on hold. I never got to speak to the other manager. Very disappointed in their customer service and I was really hoping to develop all my pictures there. Not really sure what to think at this point but it sure would be nice if they communicated with their customers when pictures are ready to be picked up. Thank you read more

On the most part, this Walgreens is a great place for quick errands. The employees seem to be friendly enough. They get a 3-star rating from me for the Pharmacy. Strangely enough, I was NOT in a hurry so I pulled to the second position in the first line of the drive-thru to wait my turn. After a few minutes, the car in front of me pulled out (and I moved up to the window). I looked up and the car that had been in front of me, made a U-turn and pulled into the 2nd lane of the drive-thru. The attendant continued to help her before she addressed me and asked me to wait. I just don't get it. I'm not privileged and have no problem waiting my turn. What part of true customer service says, "We should install a timer for the drive-thru and force our customers to leave their place in line and go to the back of the line so we can APPEAR to be giving speedy service"??? Seriously??? Get rid of the stupid timers and just focus on helping your customers! Thank you! PS. Although it IS possible that the person forgot something and had to return to the window, it's highly unlikely and I say that from experience. They (and CVS) have both asked me to go to the back of the line "because there is someone behind you". I have complained in person since I got there first and it was my turn, but it does no good.....they are "on a timer and have to look good". Again.....SERIOUSLY??? read more

Usually a pretty good Walgreens, clean, quite, fast. I went in because I recently moved and was trying to get my meds transferred but they kept putting it as a refill so obviously it would get denied because it wasn't long enough in between. I explained this to a young girl at the counter and she was very helpful and fast she took care of my problem and had my meds ready to go in about 15 min. My girlfriend had meds ready as well and her doctor had sent them to the wrong pharmacy, it was one in the next town over. We explained it and he took awhile to get it up on the computer but he did and eventually got her her meds he seemed very confused tho. I was still waiting for my meds at the time and I was waiting by the chairs and a younger man came by and asked the older man what we were waiting for the older man then proceeded to tell him he didn't know why we were still there or what we needed but that The younger boy needed to take care of it. Which he did and just a few minutes later the girl had my stuff ready and the younger boy rang me up. Usually always a good experience, they are very attentive and explain stuff, they don't get annoyed and they are pretty quick. They do have a bit of a rush hour from 4 to 6 but overall best pharmacy I've ever been to. read more

I hate this place. And the people who work at the pharmacy are even worse. No class and no manners. I waited in the drive through pharmacy for over 25min with my screaming 6 month in the car who has an ear infection and bronchitis. I had to come inside and when I asked the man he didn't even look at me with an apology or explanation. And that's what set me off. You're supposed to be efficient! If you have a problem with a customer you ask them to come inside or tell them to circle around while you solve their issue. You don't hold up the line for nearly a half hour with one customer. 3 cars drive around and went inside. That is not efficient. Get you shit together Walgreens. And have some manners to your customers. read more

I've seen old outdated reviews, so will update. This is my go-to for prescriptions, and everything else. I used to go to CVS up the street, but heck no, not after the past two experiences! They took way too long to refill my BC, which is a simple grab and give it to me you don't even have to measure out any pills! I knew if they were that slow with contraception, I would not want to be there if my child was sick and needed medicine promptly. My sons are asthmatic, I don't have time to wait an hour for medicine. I switched to Walgreens, and am so glad I did. I love this Walgreens, personally. I am a photographer, I use Walgreens to print my customers' photos and posters. Their toys are great, I always find something for my boys here at a reasonable price, and unique from other stores such as wal mart. I got a lot of my Christmas shopping done here! This Walgreens ALWAYS has what I need. From munchies, to medicine, to beauty products. This is why I give them 4 stars. They lose one star because I feel there could be more employees. You have to push a button at the photo counter to be helped there instead of an employee being there. read more

Here's the thing, when you work the pharmacy you should have customer service experience as well. This pharmacy SUCKS BAD! I got hung up on (ON PURPOSE) 3 different times, one right after the other. All I wanted to do was solve the mystery as to why I only got 6 of my pills instead of 18. I was told by two different people, who couldn't read me the information, that my insurance had supposedly put a note on the account, then she hung up on me. I called back, and the other person said no, your dr didn't fill out the Rx correctly. When I asked about the note from the insurance on there, they didn't see anything like that on there. Oh, and to top it all off, I asked how much would it be to get my 12 pills they owed to me. This guy would only say that for 18 pills it would be $1,000!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I'm already ticked, and you want to upset me even more. I look forward to speaking to the pharmacy manager, and I will be reporting this pharmacy as well. To the woman who answered my call twice and hung up on me, and to the duche bag guy who answered the third time, I will be making sure I speak to your manager(s) directly, and if I need to, I will go to the board. I'm sick of pharmacies like this one not doing what they need to be doing. Sounds like they're either incompetent and cannot read, or maybe they're all taking the meds in the back. Either way, I'm VERY angry with these people and I hope they get what is coming to them. read more
