They also use a high grade of compounding materials and you can feel the difference. When I was here in TX two years ago, they compounded some medication for me and I felt so much better! I thought it was my imagination until I asked Cathy Zhang, owner/pharmacist, about it and she explained that their ears different degrees of materials. Spring Creek uses the highest purity level and it shows in how you feel. I cannot recommend this pharmacy highly enough. However since their staff is busy doing what they do best - making drugs, they don't really provide all of the other bells and whistles of customer service that you find with the big corporate pharmacies like Walgreens or CVS. My doctor directed me to have my prescription filled here. She didn't send it in electronically, but instead wrote the ingredients on a prescription paper. She suggested I call them first to make sure they had the ingredients before going. I did, but there was some confusion on whether they had the ingredients because of the way I was pronouncing the ingredients and/or my phone was cutting out. Thankfully they had an email address, so I sent them a picture and they replied right away that they could make the medication immediately. I drove to the facility. The woman at the front seemed to be working multiple tasks and wasn't privy to the conversation I had previously on the phone, so we had to go through everything again. Once everything checked out, I had a small wait in the lobby before they came out with a paper white bag with my medicine inside. There were no instructions or "scare sheets" included, so I just had to go by what my doctor discussed in my appointment. In the end, I got a 60 day supply for $150 which seemed quite expensive. I took one, and an hour later, I was so sick. My blood pressure skyrocketed and I ended up with one of the worst headaches I had ever had. I thought I was going to have to go to the ER, but I managed to wait it out. By the next morning, my blood pressure had dropped to a normal range and the excruciating pain in my head subsided. I had an unfortunate experience here and with this overly potent medication. Had I used one of the corporate pharmacies, I would have had a consult with a pharmacist, had a detailed sheet explaining the medication and expected side effects as well as best practices for taking it. In the future, I will ask for this to ensure a layer of protection.

There were few customers but even with an appointment I waited over thirty minutes only to be told that my original Medicare did not cover Covid vaccinations. I called Medicare support and was told Covid vaccinations are covered 100% by Part B of original Medicare. Even after I had the pharmacist talk to Medicare she refused to administer my vaccination. She recommended I have my vaccinations administered at a Walgreens Pharmacy. I contacted a Walgreens and a Kroger Pharmacy after I left CVS where they both were able to verify Medicare coverage for my Covid and Flu vaccinations but noted to their knowledge the new updated Covid vaccines had not been released by the manufacturers. I've attached two screen shots of the CVS Vaccination Scheduling Portal that lists COVID-19 as available but at 12:35 PM or 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment I received an email that stated that one of the vaccinations I scheduled was removed due an unexpected issue impacting that particular pharmacy location. Neither the pharmacist or CVS Customer Support ever mentioned the aforementioned email and I was unaware of the email because I was on my phone with Medicare and CVS Customer Support. Multiple calls to CVS Customer Support were useless as they made no effort to correct their error. They NEVER offered to contact the pharmacy today to resolve the problem with the pharmacist but instead only allowed me to file a complaint which doesn't solve the problem and could take days or even weeks to resolve if ever. However, I do plan to contact the Texas State Board of Pharmacy regarding these issues with CVS. I don't fill my prescriptions at CVS because of similar incompetence and poor customer service I've experienced at other local CVS pharmacies. I only made this appointment at CVS because they advertise that the Covid-19 vaccinations are currently available at CVS. Therefore, I recommend avoiding CVS PharmacIes and strongly and totally discourage and DO NOT recommend doing any business with CVS Pharmacy under any circumstances.

My first experience solidified my plan to never go to CVS or another pharmacy again. We were in and out in under 5 minutes--it's like hitting a small lottery when you have a sick toddler in tow, and I love it even more that he's located directly across from our pediatrician's office within the same building (we go to Richardson Pediatrics). I haven't seen a sign for it from the outside, so it's not obvious from the street. It's located inside a one story brown building on the northeast corner of Arapaho and Floyd, along with a lot of pediatrician offices. Once you step foot inside, you'll see clear "pharmacy" signs. You can tell he's working hard to build his business and to make it succeed by offering services like free delivery within a 3 mile range.
