I have been diagnosed…read morewith severe sleep apnea and without the proper CPAP equipment (that must be replaced fairly regularly) I wake up more than 35 times every hour. They have been totally unresponsive. I have called them 18 times over the past several weeks. On many occasions my calls have been disconnected after waiting on the line for more than 10 minutes. I was promised more than one week ago that my supplies would be sent and that they would call me to confirm/bill. I never received a call. Today I spent an hour on the phone with (after being disconnected 3 times) them and was finally told that my Doctor had not submitted the proper paperwork. I called my Doctor and his staff said that the proper paper work was submitted but that they would call and make sure that any discrepancies were resolved. I was promised they would call me after they spoke with my doctor. I called my doctor and was assured that the company had received all the proper paperwork. I waited more than 45 minutes for a return and then finally called them myself and received a recording that the office was closed. I am in a dire situation because my CPAP headgear was damaged and I desperately needed the replacement parts. My only recourse now is to purchase my supplies on the private market and pay the costs out of hand. This company is horrible and causing me a great deal of unecessary suffering.

First time I understood I was involved in a rent/purchase but when I had paid the # of payments to own they kept billing me and threatening me with collection calls for not paying. It took a lot of wasted time and anger to straighten that out, but I was finally able to. When the machine quit and I needed one quickly, I went back and paid $722 upfront, which I understood to be the total purchase price. I wanted to outright purchase because I didn't trust them to bill me right, based on prior experience. Several months later they began billing my insurance company.l, I assumed to use my deductible. Ultimately, they said I owed another $180 on my rent/purchase. Despite telling me I had already bought it outright they said I'd signed a rental agree and owed the money. Well I, did in fact sign something that said the opposite of what I was being told. I paid them the $180, but feel ripped off and lied to. They assured me this was the end but I am fearful of yet more calls. If you wanna do business with a company that bills like Hotel California checks out, go to XMED. The hassles will never end. Worst experience I've had in years!

Told me I had tried every mask they had and the first one I had was the best. I tried to tell her I had not made any of the changes. That the supplier had arbitrarily changed my mask several times over the years. Sarah was rude, argumentative, condescending, and spoke to me in such a manner that I could hear her co-worker laughing in the background. She needs a lesson in customer service. I think I need to change suppliers. This is unacceptable. DON'T USE THIS BUSINESS if you want to be shown respect.

I contacted AdaptHealth/Healthline Equipment on December 15th and initially spoke with Ashley, the…read morereceptionist who took my information for the Arlington location and said someone would call me back regarding my concerns. About 15 minutes later, I received a call from Sarah H. I attempted to explain that my CPAP mask was pressing against my cheekbone and that I might need a different size or type of mask. Unfortunately, Sarah repeatedly interrupted me and insisted that the issue was due to the mask being too tight--something I never stated. I attempted to clarify multiple times that my concern was not about pressure or the mask "cutting" me, but rather the placement of the cushion on my cheekbone and the difficulty of putting the mask on before connecting it to the machine. I said I think I might need a different size or a different type of mask. Because of this, I cannot sleep on my left side which is the side I mainly sleep on. Sarah did not listen to what I was actually saying and continued responding to issues I never raised. She dismissed my concerns by saying I hadn't given the machine enough time and that I already had "the best mask." When I explained that I felt unheard, her tone became condescending. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was told that she was over my type of concerns. She also stated that she "matches energies," which I found unprofessional, especially since I remained calm until my concerns were repeatedly invalidated. Sarah was rude, argumentative, and dismissive, and she made me feel as though my concerns did not matter. Patients seeking medical equipment support that they are paying for deserve to be listened to with care and respect. If she does not enjoy helping patients, a non-patient-facing role may be more appropriate. This experience has made me consider informing my provider that partnering with AdaptHealth/Healthline might reflects poorly on the care he provides, since their caliber of service does not match his care. I hope no one else seeking medical assistance is ignored or dismissed like I was.
