The technician messed up with the installation. He installed the bracket too far to the back of the wheelchair that's why the stabilizer couldn't reach the anti-tipper. When my wife stepped on brake, the whole wheelchair fell forward. My left knee banged the front console, and my forehead banged on the dashboard. The managers refused to listen and refused to fix the problem. She hang up on me when I explained the problem to her. Spend your money somewhere else and definitely stay away from Ms. Tammy, Ms. Janet and Steve because they have no integrity, no customer service skills and very unprofessional. I have visited Mobility Works for years, well before it became Mobility Works, and I had zero complaints. They were skilled, knowledgeable, professional and I couldn't have asked for better treatment. After it was sold, it went downhill. Anyway, I had a new vehicle installed with brand-new equipment and everything seemed okay. A few weeks after delivery, I was driving it and the engine and electronics all shut off in the middle of traffic. It was August and the temperature was well over 100°, which almost ended up in a medical emergency. I had to get out of the vehicle in my wheelchair in the middle of traffic. The police had to stop traffic for me while I got out. It was pretty embarrassing. It turned out there was an exposed, hot wire leading to the equipment that made contact and shorted everything out. The fitting and adjustments phase was a nightmare and the technician was impatient and at times condescending and the service manager was argumentative and honestly, rude. And after all of that, it failed inspection, but that's another story. Even though they are the closest to me, I will never go back there. read more

This is not a complaint as much as a disappointment and perhaps a caveat for the disabled community. I am a paraplegic who recently had a shoulder replacement. The rehab facility I was in recommended that I purchase a wheelchair van and I looked at this store for a used van. I have a decade long history with them. The best value they had at the time was a 2019 Dodge Caravan with 50k+ miles for $50,000. Fortunately I found another 2019 Dodge Caravan with 31k miles for $43,000 with another dealer. I have recovered from the surgery and decided to sell the van and I called this dealer for a quote because of my past history with them and they offered $19,000 for my van. Their current inventory nationwide of 2019 Dodge Caravans has more than 10 vehicles with a median price of $45k+, the vast majority of which have more mileage than mine. They can sell vehicles for any price they choose but how disappointing that the same model and year they tried to sell me 3 months ago was 2 1/2 times the offer they made to me. To my fellow handicapped community requiring wheelchair vans, if you purchase from this dealership let my experience be a potential warning to you and your family what a very, very poor investment you could be making. read more

I had a small wiring problem with the driving controls in my ramp van. I had the van towed to Mobility Works they claimed that the equipment is fried and I must purchase a new van with new equipment. I spoke with The manufacture of the equipment and they explained to me that this is not true. They can remove the old equipment and install new equipment as a custom job. The service manager at Mobility Works is miss informing customers which may cost of them tens of thousands of dollars in unneeded expense purchasing a new van. The service manager does not know that I am a professional electronics engineer. I troubleshooting the system and found a bad cable. Once I replaced it everything worked perfectly again. This is considered deceptive Sales strategy: to misinform the customer of the exact nature of the technical problem in order to get a larger sale. I have been a customer for over 10 years and this is how they treat me? I will now be using Lift aids of Texas for my transportation modification needs. read more
