I was referred to this company by a mobility company that I trusted and that had provided me with exceptional service. Therefore I contacted Scooters and More without reading any reviews until the day my wheelchair was scheduled for delivery. I don't even know why I looked up their reviews at that time, I guess I was wasting some time. After reading the reviews I was amazed at some of the comments in the reviews. I couldn't believe that this was the same company that I had contacted and been working with to get my wheelchair. Some of the comments stated in the reviews did not describe my interaction with Rebecca & DJ. I had been approved for a wheelchair with another company based in FL by my insurance. Because of some delivery issues and the other company's lack of willingness to work with me, I decided that I wanted to receive my wheelchair from a locate company. Rebecca called and informed me that after submitting the paperwork to my insurance company, she was informed that I already had a pre-authorization with another company. I explained the situation and she told me I would have to contact my insurance company and explain that I had not taken delivery of the wheelchair and needed to transfer or cancel the current pre-authorization. I didn't think that my conversation with my agent at the insurance company had gone well. So I called Rebecca back to provide her with the update. She thanked me and told me she would contact me when she received any information. Rebecca called me the next day and stated the pre-authorization had been provided to her company and she would have the technician call me to schedule delivery. I was amazed because I was told by the agent with the insurance company that it would take 5 to 14 days before any decision would be made. I received a call from DJ and the delivery was scheduled. I was so excited because of the issue regarding delivery with the other company, and the time that had passed since my interaction with the other company. DJ delivered the wheelchair on 7/18/2024, provided a full review of the features of the chair, and answered my questions. I had some challenges with the chair and DJ assured me that he would check on some adjustments that should make the chair a good fit for me. He stated that he would follow up after going to his warehouse and checking on some options. After the exchange of a couple of emails, DJ scheduled to come back and make some adjustments and those adjustments provided a wheelchair that is a great fit for me. I can't say enough wonderful things about Scooters and More. First off, when going through an insurance company to get medical equipment it is NEVER easy. It is always a LONG drawn out battle but the dedication that I received from Scooters and More meant the world to my daughter and I. DME Scooters & More furnished my brother's power wheelchair. I cannot say enough good things about the company and the fast service. We dealt with Donald Moss and he was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. He walked my brother through the process for the procedure to get the chair ordered and approved(being very detailed in the application) and took the time to explain all the features of the chair and made adjustments to ensure comfort. Kelly Lher, at the Fort Worth store went above and beyond for one of my patients, that had a broken CPAP and was getting out of the hospital on Saturday. I called Friday to see if she can help, she stated she could, I faxed a prescription to her at 12 noon and she was able to give it to the patients wife before 5 pm when they closed.
