This is an update to a previous review about Auto Glass Now @ 7940 West Freeway in Fort Worth Texas. I called Customer Service and left a message for Victoria S. and never received a call back after a week. I called again today and I'm now being told that the chip and cracks CAN'T be fixed and will always be visible. This process only prevents the cracks from spreading further which is not what we were told. I'm sorry I wasted my time and money for something that will always be visible. Be up front with your customers. If I knew it would always be visible I would have gone another direction. read more

Best price in town for sure. In and out in a fair amount of time. I've used them several times. My truck did have lots of plastic scraps and leaves left on the dash this time. Not sure if they did the work outside or what happened. Still pleased either way. read more

After calling several other places to get a quote, A1 was the only one who gave me an all in price - including tax and disposal fee! They were also $75 to $100 cheaper than competitors. You get the same price if you go to their location or they come to you. They immediately got me scheduled and was very responsive to my timing request. A rock came through my windshield on my daily commute this morning, and I wanted to get it taken care of before I had to drive back home later today. I called Safelite, and they quoted me nearly $500 for a windshield replacement, and weren't available for an appointment until the next day! So, I called A-1 Auto Glass, and boy am I glad I did! They were half the price of their competitors and were able to come out to my office on the same afternoon. The very friendly repairman called when he was on his way, and start to finish the entire process took 40 minutes...plus I was able to work through the whole appointment! A1 is now known as Auto Glass Now. To cut to the chase - I got my windshield replaced and was satisfied with the installation. What happened before the installation was ridiculous. Customer service is not their specialty. Having had several windshields replaced in my time, I know you don't just show up and get a windshield. They need to be ordered. Knowing that, while out doing errands, I dropped by a week ago to make an appointment and get a windshield ordered. I made an appointment to come back at 10:00 AM on 6/27/23. I showed up at 9:45. My car sat in the parking lot for at least 45 minutes. It was finally taken back about 10:30. At 11:15, thinking my car was being worked on, I was told that the windshield I ordered hadn't arrived. I had been sitting in their office for 90 minutes and they finally tell me they don't have the windshield! 90 minutes!! They apologized while I explained to them that's why I came by in person a week ago to be sure something like this wouldn't happen. It happened anyway. Doesn't anybody check the schedule for the day and ensure that they have the windshields needed for that day? Apparently not. Their only recourse was to order a windshield and tell me I could come back later in the afternoon. I was pissed but said I would come back. When I got home, I quickly searched online for another windshield repair shop. If I could find one that could get me in right away, I was OK not showing up at Auto Glass Now. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anybody that could get me in so, against my better judgement, I reluctantly went back. Again, the installation was fine but the customer service was atrocious. While waiting in the customer area, I watched as several people came in and walked up to the counter. There are 3-4 ladies sitting at desks behind the sliding window but customers have to wait several minutes before they are even acknowledged, almost as if the customers are a bother. I was not impressed by the office staff. Will I go back? Maybe, but will certainly look elsewhere first. read more

Arrived on Monday morning and was promptly helped. Tech looked at chip in windshield and went over the normal disclosures. Now mind you this is on a 2017 Super duty and if replaced its well over 1k dollars. Matthew fixed it very fast and professional. After a series of unfortunate events, I wound up with a cracked windshield. It wasn't just a small little chip either. The damage required a complete windshield replacement. Nooooo, my pocketbook cried. My mom gave me A-1's info after going to the car dealership and seeing that they did it there onsite. I called A-1 and they set up an appointment to come to my house (how convenient is that?!) and replace my windshield a few days later. When the technician arrived, I went outside and we discussed what was about to take place. He then went to work and within 30 minutes I had a brand new windshield, free of cracks and other damage. Everything turned out great and I now have a windshield that allows me to feel safe while driving and I didn't break the bank doing so either. Thanks A-1! read more

Something about the angle of a Jeep means I'll have lots of road damage to my windshield. This is my 2nd replacement. I wish I had come to A-1 Auto Glass the first time. I went with someone else who was a little cheaper. As a result for the last two years I've had a whistling noise because they didn't do a great job. A-1 Auto Glass was a little more. However, awesome quick friendly service. I no longer have the annoying wind noise. They did a professional job. I will definitely be back. Glad I gave them a shot. read more

I checked with our dealer to see who they use for windshield glass replacement and they said A-1. I let our insurance company know and they sent A-1 to our house. The guys did a phenomenal job replacing the windshield on my car. They truly did their work with excellence. read more

This place was recommended by the dealership I use and the windshield was 1/3 the price of ordering one through the dealership. And that was not including labor! So I imagine I paid 1/4 or less for going this route. I took them up on the convenience of coming to my home. I called on a Friday, and they came out the following Monday afternoon! It was quick and the installer, Javier, was very knowledgeable and took great pride in the quality of his work! I've had a string of bad luck recently. I have been in two car accidents in three months, neither of which were my fault. Both cars were totaled and I bought a new car (again) last week. As I was driving down the freeway a rock flew up and broke my windshield. I went to A-1 Auto Glass and was so defeated to have to spend more money after a very expensive few months. When I explained what I had been through and couldn't afford to replace it immediately they went out of their way to make sure I got my windshield replaced ASAP, could afford the cost, and finally had some good luck! There were some issues with the initial installation of the windshield, but the owner got involved, and had all the problems solved the following day. My suggestion is to over communicate with the technician, set realistic expectations, and not sign off on the work until you have had a chance to make a complete inspection. After a day of frustration, I'm now a satisfied customer. Should not have had to deal with that, but A-1 took care of everything. read more

A1 replaced my windshield through serviceking. Windshield had a crack appear overnight . Serviceking said they never seen it before and hooked me up with A1. A1 immediately declared it my fault, manager came out and reaffirmed it was my doing, then turned and walked away with not another word. Technician then offered to give me a quote. First use, 5 stars. Second, 0 stars. They gave me a before noon time frame. I called at 2PM when they didn't show up. Said the window had arrived broken and they would be there after 3 having received a replacement. I believe a "valued customer" would deserve the courtesy of a call rather than having him waste hours of his day waiting so they don't have to go to the trouble. read more
