Update (2/18/26). They came out and replaced my windshield today. The District Manager did refund some of my money. However, I don't think I will recommend or use them again, because of the 3 month long extremely frustrating experience. If you do decide to use them for windshield repair, I strongly recommend the instant you hear the phrase "back ordered" either get your money back on go elsewhere, or at where they ordered it from and call and confirm for yourself that they ordered the correct windshield. Also, take your car in versus trusting them to come to you. read more

Car mechanics is not in my skill set and I do my best to trust the "professionals" when I need something I know nothing about. My wind shield needing replacing urgently as a major crack appeared on my commute into Fort Worth. Auto glass was the nearest business and I got booked in that day. On my way home I immediately noticed a whistling noise whenever I drove over 40mph - I phoned them back and they assured me it was the temporary tape making the noise. Fast forward 24 hours (with tape removed), the whistling sound remained. I returned my car and asked for them to fix it. I waited over 2 hours and when my car was returned to me - I was assured it was indeed fixed. IT WAS NOT!! Obviously very reluctant to return for the third time, I took it to another glass place near to my home. The installer was appalled at the handiwork of auto glass and said that they did something called "pushing" - where instead of placing the glass front on - they pushed it into place, smudging the mastic and leaving the windshield ajar from the car body (hence the whistle!). They also did not correctly remove the original mastic and then used way too much new mastic. So now it is fixed but I had to pay the extra $200 else where to get it right. Shame as all the people at auto glass seemed really nice. They just need some more training I guess? read more

I went to the Carrollton, Texas location on Frankford. I showed up about 5 minutes before my 1:00 appointment. The receptionist informed me that the technician was running a few minutes behind but would be there shortly. At 1:20 I asked her how much longer as I took off work for this and was planning on waiting. She called him. He was pulling up. They drove my car into the bay. I could see and hear there was an issue... at 1:50 the receptionist informed me that the windshield was ordered but never delivered on the morning delivery. I was referred to this company by Take 5 Oil Change but will NEVER recommend this company to anyone I know. Terrible!!! read more

Called around and this place had the cheapest quote for my windshield replacement so I came here. Very friendly and nice when I called both times. I made an appointment for Friday morning. I didn't get an exact time to come in but rather a time frame. I'm honestly not sure what the point was because when I arrived they said there'd be a 2-2.5 hour wait. There are at least 10 warning signs posted along the counter which is a little concerning. Why are so many needed? Makes me think they have frequent problems and each one was posted as a result of a customer issue. I've now had four windshields replaced in four years here. This place is about half the price of anywhere else. I should also mention I've had to return on three of those visits to have problems taken care of. They're not particularly good at replacing screws, clips, or other retaining pieces of trim. After two windshields on my truck, I have no idea what's holding the trim by the wipers down because it's loose on both sides. And it's broken. I had to return a daughter's car this week because the trim on both sides of the windshield would bow up on the highway. They're quick and they're cheap. I can generally live with that. read more

I made an appt. to have my windshield replaced one week prior to my arrival. I arrived ten minutes prior to my appt. I was told that my car was the only one that was being worked on and that it would take about two hours. I said ok, I will wait . several cars showed up to get chips fixed. they were taken care of. After two hours I was informed that the glass for my vehicle was scratched..they had to get another windshield from another shop "right down the street." Again, it wont take long they stated. The glass showed up almost an hour later..three hours sitting, still nothing repaired.... I went to the desk to speak with someone. They saw me but failed to come over....about 45 minutes later a lady came to take payment for another car..I asked her how much longer is it going to take to get my car. She abruptly stated that she did not know. She did ask someone and told me about 30 minutes... another hour passed, no car...30 minutes after that my vehicle was driven to the front of the facility. I went to the desk and waited more time to pay for the repair.. no apologies, not anything... I got into my vehicle and the technician threw my water bottle into the floor board and placed his in the TWO CUP a cup holder. poor customer service ........unbelievable. I will never recommend this business... someone needs to be trained... read more

Trying to do business with them was a colossal waste of time. Despite scheduling an appointment online, confirming that I was arriving to my appointment via the telephone with one of their representatives, I still arrived to find that they had sent my glass back. The woman working the desk said they had tried to call me at 8 AM, and when I didn't pick up they sent their glass back. I had no missed calls, so this was completely incorrect. So I have state farm insurance and I called STATE FARM offices just to tell me I do not have coverage on my policy that includes dings and chips in the windshield. I was surprised at that because in the past other insurance companies that I've had covered these chips in the windshield State Farm recommended there go to people called caliber collision and I called the store in Colleyville since we live in Colleyville and they gave me a quote of $108. So so so that was the special rate to state farm customers which sounded very expensive. I went to google Found auto glass now five minutes away and Hurst mid cities and Colleyville Boulevard I called on the phone a woman Monica was kind respectful told me I did not need an appointment just to come on anytime between 8 and 6 PM and they would get right on it and I would be out in 20 minutes. The cost would be $65 knowing that was almost half of the cost supposedly a good one at caliber collision. I went in there and got this done yesterday when I pulled in to the service bay young man by the name of Clifton was excited to see me treated me with kindness got me right in and out. They did an amazing job, clean operation inside and out and deserve a good review close convenient, affordable all those things that make it a win-win scenario for me. read more

I was in Metairie, Louisiana visiting my family back on 11-22-22. Decided to get my windshield replaced on my 2019 XT-5. I researched it and decided to get it replaced at Autoglassnow. They did, the next day it rained hard. Intermittent wipers and rain sensor never worked again. Went back, they called me into the shop. Showed me the wipers working spraying it with a water hose. Next day, same thing, hard rain and they never worked. Took it back again, same result. Had to come back to Houston. Called the location in Houston. They told me they didn't want anything to do with it, that is was a Metairie problem. To add another pain, the glass started leaking water. So mush for their"Nation wide Warranty". Or "Warranty" for that matter. Had a chip and crack 12-15-23. Had another windshield installed by an independent installer. As soon as he got the glass out, which was very poorly sealed, he immediately saw the problem. The gel around the sensor was completely gone. He replaced it and everything works great again!! I hope everyone reads this before doing business wit these people again. Sorry Company!! read more

My windshield was cracked and needed to be replaced. I went online for an estimate and it was a good price. At first I was nervous because of the reviews but I went anyways. The inside was beautiful! The floors were completely redone and the wait area was open, warm, and inviting. While I was waiting, the big bosses walked in. They started talking to the front desk lady and they were so excited about how far they have come (They are now under new management since around November 2021 and the store opened back up about 3 weeks ago). You could tell everyone wanted to genuinely improve the store and their relationship with their customers. Overall, it was fast and great service. I would come here again. And yes! The front desk lady is the most apathetic person I've had the displeasure of interacting with. Obviously hates her job, is miserable, wishes she could be ANYWHERE but there, and wants the customer to feel the same way too. Sort of seems like everybody else employed there has that same attitude as well. Windshield replacement took hours and wasn't installed properly, had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I drive by there fairly often and there's been a multitude of occasions where I noticed cops in the lot mediating between customers and employees. Passenger side glass was replaced. They told me during the installation process that the window was moving up and down very slowly as was the case after I received the car. This was not a problem prior to bringing the car in for service. Also, very disappointed with the glass itself. The front portion of the glass is like looking through a coke bottle. read more

I waited 3 hours to get my windshield replaced. The place was filthy I don't think they ever clean. One of the techs wasn't in the shop enough he was too busy talking to the ladies st the front desk. The tech left pieces of small glass on my dash, and stained the interior of the car. We called Monday morning and received a quote over the phone. Took the car into them for a same day appointment but they had the wrong glass. They asked us to come back the following morning . We went in and they reordered the wrong glass. They went to another location to pick up the correct glass. The lady working the front said even though there was a difference in price, the original price would be honored. We agreed to the work, the original price and by the time the car was ready (with no additional hiccups), the lady was no where to be found and "unreachable". The final price was over $50 more than the agreed upon price. Very disappointed in this glass company. The glass installation was fine but if you have a vehicle that will need to have camera or etc. calibrated, they don't share up front that they don't do that with the install. Our camera malfunction alarm came on when we cranked the vehicle to leave. They told us to drive it and it would stop. It didn't, so my husband called and they said bring it back. Drove another hour the next morning only to be told not their responsibility. And now upon taking it to the dealership for calibration, found that they damaged the camera module so a lot of extra expense that shouldn't have been. Went there to get my windshield replaced, the girl behind the counter was very rude and acted as if she couldn't care less about anything. Asked if we could just leave our key and come back and she said I guess like so indifferently. We went to pull out of the parking lot and an employee hit my other car as he was backing up! He got out of his car like I was at fault and just shrugged it off and said "We good, alright, I gotta go." and got back in his car! I went to his window and asked for his info, and he said "Are you f*****g serious, over a wheel?" I asked if he worked there he said yea, and that's how you talk to customers? "I'm not on the f*****g clock." If I were at my place of work, and talked to a customer like that, I know I'd be punished for it. On the clock or not. He drove off without me getting his information! I went in the ask about their employee and they acted like because he was off the clock they didn't even know him! There is absolutely no accountability at this place! We called the police to report a hit and run and as we're waiting for the cops to show up another employee, we're assuming friends with the guy that hit us, and said we have to leave because we're not customers. We had an appointment with them, and they still had our key for the car they were fixing. I told him we were waiting for the cops and he walks away and flips me off! I'm absolutely appalled at the way all of these employees act, and how this business is being run! I go in to confront them and at this point and get my key back because I don't want to give them any of my money, and the same guy tells me to leave! The girl who couldn't care less is on the phone with a supervisor, telling him how over all this she is, and another guy who initially acted concerned that our car got hit is now ignoring us on the phone with another customer. I ask for my key and go outside to wait for the cops. They show up and are very nice and understanding. They go in and tell them to get that guy back here now or they're going to file a hit and run. About 10-15 minutes later he shows back up and we get our info exchanged. My husband goes in one last time to get the corporate number to file a complaint and we leave. We wasted close to 2 hours of our lives, didn't get our windshield replaced and was very mistreated by almost every employee at this location. So far so good, the price is reasonable, waiting to see what the work looks like. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. There system is down today and they are only taking cash, this has been the only drawback since i had to go ya a ATM and they have to send me a receipt to my email when the system comes up. Will update when the job is finished. Work was not that great, had to bring it to safelight to have it fixed. Spend the extra money and have it done right, lesson learned again. Very quick and easy fix! Had my whole front windshield replaced and the price was the best part. Called all around town and got quoted over $250, while Auto Glass Now was the only ones who quoted under $200. Would definitely recommend this location. Called ahead, and was told they could replace my windshield this afternoon. When I arrived at 2:30, I was told they would have it in a bay by 3 pm. At 4 pm, they had not yet begun. Windshield was finally replaced by 5 pm. The office staff even mentioned that one of the glass workers had not been able to take a lunch break today because they were so busy. I certainly would have made an appointment to return at another time if they would have been honest from the beginning about a realistic schedule. I am a reasonable person and do not mind waiting; however they were not up front with me about the wait. Not the best way to get return customers. read more
