It's impossible to shop here. Everything is locked up in cases and u need a worker to open each case. Bar soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. U would literally need a worker assigned to you to get anything and u have to press a help button for each item. This review is strictly about the overnight crew - not the store as a whole. The young lady who works the overnight shift as a clerk... is a MISSILE, and I like her ALOT. I would particularly say she works mainly on the weekends because every time I come into the store (usually on a Friday or Saturday night) she's always there. I didn't catch her name, but, she has beautiful eyes with a very intimidating demeanor (which I believe is great when working an overnight shift at a location like Lemmon). I do see other clerks here and there, but I see her the most. I like her... and I know some customers may think her presence is cold and dismissive because she doesn't exude the "bubbly customer service" energy during her shift, but she's actually a kind and very attentive employee. Yes, her demeanor can be intimidating, but she's only tough on customers with bad intentions. I have witnessed firsthand her catching a thief, BEFORE the theft. Every time I walk in the store she is either stocking the products, checking customers out at the register, or standing guard at the self checkout section. Not kidding! Every time I push the button for assistance (because majority of the store is locked up) she's always the one coming with the key. She's one of the best overnight employees (in my opinion) and I greatly appreciate her presence at this location -because the security there is actually useless... - hints to why 4 stars. read more

Romero & Alex were awesome! Alex seemed to be stocking, taking inventory, or changing price tiles. The store looked super clean, organized, & new! My 1st impression of Romero was that he's a humble, polite, hard worker. He took time to freshen the restroom, mop it, & make sure it was super clean & stocked. It was literally shiny & sparkling when I'd just so happened to stop by & inquire about a lady's room. I was not planning on making a purchase. However, I ended up buying several small items due to these gentlemens' customer service & beautifully maintained store! Really excited to try out my new Welly dog print bandages! I have been coming to this location for years.. and this review is a long time coming.. everytime I walk in I'm greeted with big smiles.. they all know me and know that I'm coming to buy my weekly candy stash.. even though I am a regular customer there isn't anything that will not do to help me ... Giving another 5 stars because it still has everything I need/want when I come and I always come here as I am its neighbor...however, I have not used the pharmacy yet, but the front staff has always been great and those self check out machines always gives me the most efficient service. Give the pharmacy a break if it got bad reviews...its a 24 hour pharmacy in a mostly young college rich town area with 2 pharmacist i have seen every time (its a big deal to have 2 pharmacist at a cvs pharmacy, means high volume) And over night all the homeless crazy's and drug users always come for them thinking they are easy targets but you have to remember these pharmacist's are actually doctorates. First and foremost, I was rudely refused access to the store restroom by a CVS manager at the  Dallas- 3133 East Lemmon location.  Thereafter, I completed my appointment with the location's Minute Clinic. Unlike the store manager, the Minute Clinic employee was kind enough to unlock the store restroom for me at the conclusion of my patient visit.  It should be noted, the CVS manager shouted and hurled profanity at me when I inquired about them not allowing me entry into the restroom. Additionally, the manager was not wearing a name tag and refused to provide me with their name once I mentioned filing a formal complaint.  This all occured Friday, November 10, 2023 at approximately 12:45p near the pharmacy; as many customers and pharmacy employees saw & heard the manager shouting and yelling profanity.  The CVS Consumer Nondiscrimination policies are committed to never profiling or discriminating against people based on their identity, appearance, or any personal characteristic. Undoubtedly, the store manager's actions vehemently violate CVS Consumer Nondiscrimination policies. Furthermore, the store manager did not respect, nor promote my human rights as a patient and customer of CVS.  All and all, the customer service of the store manager was excessively subpar. Moreover, there is reason to suspect a bit of bigoted racism and classism being displayed by the store manager.  My hope is that the manager and store employees undergo cultural sensitivity training; I do not want anyone to lose their job. However, I do not want anyone to experience the level of disrespect and disregard I felt at the store; regardless of race, religion, gender, and/or perceived socioeconomic status.  I fear that may be the case, if a store leader exhibits such poor and unprofessional behavior; it's only natural that the mentality be passed onto the manager's employees. read more

I've used this pharmacy for over 9 years without any issues. I've read the reviews and they talk about calling or waiting in the drive thru, which I never do. Therefore no problems. I use the app or occasionally (rarely) the recorded line to order. The app tells you what's going on with your order. I have no issues picking up my order or even having it mailed for free. They are clearly busy here. Be kind to your pharmacist and staff. read more

Worst pharmacy on the planet‼ I've been on the phone for 90 minutes listening to ringing and being purposefully hung up on. Yes, you heard me right... After waiting to speak to someone for 45 minutes they picked the phone up and hung it up in my face. This has happened several times. In total I've been on the line for 2 hours to the point that my phones battery is now at 10%. I have missed the 10 o'clock news which is very upsetting. So done with this pharmacy. I will not even be picking up the prescription that they do have ready... Forget them! I will have another pharmacy pull it from them tomorrow and go pick it up from elsewhere and give them my money. Don't make the mistake of having surgery and putting this pharmacy down as the place where you pick up your Post-Op meds, you'll be sorry. read more

I hate this pharmacy, the only reason why I come here is the 24-7 aspect, how close it is to me and their inventory of my prescription that is out of stock a lot at other places. Today I called and waited on hold for 30 minutes and then they hung up on me. Then I called back and waited on hold for 20 minutes and they hung up again. I would love to say this is the first time this has happened but it's not. I have to call every month to push my prescription through when it's time for my refills and it happens a lot unless I call and odd hours like 11pm or 3am. When you're medicine keeps you from ending it all, CVS won't be the one to answer your call. The store itself and staff may be great but trying to get through on the phone is IMPOSSIBLE. I was literally robbed by cashier and here's how. I was at pharmacy counter as I opened my wallet the cashier made a comment about not having change for a hundred. I paid cash and walked away. A customer tapped me on shoulder and told me I dropped a 100 and she gave it to cashier. I walked up to counter and she stumbled around that she needed to look at camera.The manager goes in back and then calls that cashier in it was as if they were in together they had me standing outside door for 30 min. The cashier already came out and wouldn't look at me. You know like thieves do. I had to knock on the door it was 30 min. (I had checked my purse and confirmed I did not have the 100. I had Before walking in. When you go to bank and withdrawal 200 cash because your card was stolen then moving and just having a lot on plate I would think management would have policy and if tge company policy of cvs has nothing to say against theft then well what do they do about shoplifters? After having to knock on back room to get response from manager. I mean checking camera and literally it had to showThis manager She came out and said she couldn't see and I asked to see the camera she refused to allow me but she couldn't look me in eyes and was very unprofessional. My review is about the minute clinic. My wife fell ill a few days ago. After a day of not getting better she went to the minute clinic as she works very close by. The 'doctor' was very rude to my wife and lacked professionalism. She diagnosed her with the flu then made her feel dumb for taking mucinex and dayquil at the same time (we are not doctors). I say 'doctor' as she is actually an NP but seem to thrive on undermining doctors as she made rude comments about a friend who is an M.D. and who described my wife particular medication for an unrelated medical issue. On top of that she urged my wife to have me come in for a visit and preventive medicine. I have checked with a few MDs that are friends who all seem to agree that there is no preventive medicine given for the flu. So she either does not know her medicine or she is trying to line her pockets. But the cherry on the cake is that I actually swang by yesterday at 7.05 trying to see her. I was quickly greeted with a rude notion that she wouldn't see me anymore that day... the minute clinic closes at 7.30. Best part? Even the pharmacist told me that the NP is rude and acts all the time like that. Will go to a regular doctor next time, I don't need this holier than thou behavior! read more

From time I called to Rx being ready was 15min. What impressed me more is I am new permanent resident to TX, only an 11 day old Texan!!!! But am Waze/GPS dependent and was going all over the place. Went to downtown and Pharm was not 24hrs the store was, slight panic and increased worry and stress. But the two ladies at checkout we're very nice and helpful in sending me to this location. And they have their own parking lot!!!!! Upon arrival to Pharm counter I observed there was a crew of 2 (Joe, Pharm Tech & Adam, pharmacist) working in a very calm efficient way. While Adam, acknowledging my presence in a very kind and professional way. Then Joe, who I talked over phone with acknowledged who I was and also gave direct eye contact while working. What impressed me more, is my insurance has not kicked in yet and had to self pay. Bare in mind these are Meds you cannot abruptly stop as high risk for adverse emergent reactions could occur. I was about to check out and told Adam, my cashier (yes, the pharmacist) I'll be "self-pay." He said we may be able to help. Do you have time to wait a little longer." Saving or waiting? Uhhh yeah, I'll wait (they had comfortable clean chairs placed out of way of traffic it with full view of Pharmacy. For 15 min I waited, while I continued to watch them tend to other customers needs, from cashier, dispensing, filling, drive-thru window, etc....and maintain consistency in their work and great customer service. Thank you Adam & Joe for making my experience such pleasant one. ******Wow****** I just pulled up to pick up a med (if abruptly stopped cause cause fatal adverse reactions) and no it was not a controlled substance or narcotic. I did not catch his name but was black man wearing glasses, refused to give my Rx. What an ugly thing to do. That is why it is a and not . That is the short of it. Big bonus points for being open 24/7. It's a great place to stop for essential supply shoppin' after a late night next door in West Village! Rather brand-spankin' new and super clean. The coupon dispensers are a bonus - they've updated the software so you can enter your phone number (if you don't have your CVS card with you). Generally, items in the store are well-stocked, but I've had some difficulty with finding sale items towards the middle/end of the week. Also, wish they had self-checkout kiosks. Pharmacy: Pharmacists are helpful and service is quick. I went to pickup a prescription the other day (without calling it in) and only had to wait a few minutes to pick it up. I have been a pharmacist for 37 years and I know the pressures of being in a busy pharmacy, but NEVER have I treated customers the way these people do. Indeed, it seems to be all of the CVS stores in the Oak Lawn area. My insurance requires I use CVS only because I was a CVS pharmacist and use their insurance. I called about a month ago to this pharmacy and was placed on hold for 30 minutes! When they finally answered I asked why so long on the phone. "We are just busy," was the response. I asked them "if someone is at your counter, do you ignore them for 30 minutes? I am a customer also and as a pharmacist I will tell you, it's not good business." I received a sarcastic "tee-hee" in response. Tonight it happened again. On hold for 45 minutes. I finally gathered my things and went up there and told the pharmacist that "this call is me waiting 45 minutes for someone to answer." He responded by saying "I know, everyone is. We are just busy. I mean look at all of this." I was not moved and asked for my prescription. "Oh," they said. "We are out of stock. We haven't been able to get that drug for a month." I told them to just "forget it" and barely made it to the airport to catch my flight. I just hope I can get by without the medicine for a week, but the doctor can't send this prescription out of state. I did ask them who the district pharmacy manager is, but they wouldn't tell me. This is my local CVS and I go pretty frequently for multiple things. The staff is always helpful. Bianca is very knowledgeable about all the different products they offer and has great suggestions. You might feel uncomfortable with some of the things purchased at the drug store, but I urge you to ask them anything as they will get you the scoop on the products. Another great example of how helpful the staff is; I was walking around with an item that was very heavy and Tasha generously carried it to the front for me. She saw me struggling and took action. I came here to pick up some prescription cream. My doctor gave me a printed sheet, rather than submitting the order directly to the pharmacy. At any rate, I waited in line and I got helped by the pharmacy manager who's name was Cat. I am not sure if it was a language barrier, cultural fit, or the lack of social skills and customer support.... but, he was the ruddest person ever. I asked a question about the medication price, and he ignored me. I asked again, and I was ignored one more time. Third time he said "call after 30 minutes." I did not understand him, so when I asked "what?" he literally yelled at me "CALL AFTER 30 MINUTES." No context, no explanation. Straight up jerk. He said 2 hours for pick up. That was it. Came back to pick up my medicine after couple of hours and was helped by Priscilla. She was super nice, helpful and made the experience much better. THANK YOU. Someone give her a raise please. I'll be honest with you. The only reason I come to this CVS is because it's the only 24hr CVS in the general vicinity. I came to pick up a prescription that was refilled and the drive thru line had six cars in it. I decided to go inside to pick up my prescription, which afforded me the opportunity to hear a pharmacist screaming about a customer that was waiting in line waiting for birth control. His exact words were, "birth control?! Birth control?! She's upset for waiting in line for birth control. There's people here with the flu!" In a state that is so directly affected by the overturning of Roe v. Wade, it's not only incredibly unprofessional (regardless of circumstance), but also insensitive and disgusting. I tried speaking with the young lady that was the other pharmacist on duty and she literally just looked at me like a deer in headlights. No concern, no empathy, and no sense of apology. While it may not be her burden, it was obvious that they are both too inconsiderate and insensitive to be practicing medicine and expected to display empathy, in our current day and age. Do better. Avoid this pharmacy and try the Walgreens across the street instead. Pharmacy does not answer phones. There's always a long line for drive thru and inside counter. Typically wait 10 minutes for anyone from the pharmacy to even acknowledge that there is a line. Since this is the only 24 hour pharmacy in the vicinity, seems like CVS would recognize with all the complaints that they are not staffed appropriately to meet the demand and make necessary changes. read more

I had a difficult time finding items due to a clouded mind because of a horribly stressful week and I can honestly say the 2 people that assisted me went above and beyond to help me! I got my chargers, new masks, and beverages without any issues. The first pharmacist was not aware of the services they provided and originally told me they didn't offer the service I needed until I informed him it says they do on their website. Since he could not answer my question, another pharmacist took over the line. He was very rude. He would not answer any questions that were just standard questions and had a huge attitude. They were supposed to deliver my rx. I got an email it was delivered (via US Postal Service) but I never received it. I called the pharmacy and they advised me I need to call USPS (wait 45 mins), as USPS most first try to find it - or mark it lost before the pharmacy can assist me. If you have hours and hours to waste and like services/companies that don't value you as customers or your time - use CVS for all your pharmacy needs. Side note: if USPS can't deliver my but send me an email they saying the did - are they going to do the same with my vote in November? read more
