Went in to get a sunday Los Angeles Times newspaper, the front was empty with just a few papers. They were from 3 WEEKS AGO! Why would they still have those and no new ones? I thought that was odd. I needed bread as well so I thought I am already here might as well buy the bread here. The store was completely empty and quiet. After I found the bread I looked for the "best looking one" since there was only 3 packs of white bread. After looking at the first one I noticed that the bread had MOLD growing on the side!!!! How disgusting! I grabbed it and took it to the front. At this point I am too disgusted to buy any other eatable product there. When I get to the front I told the lady in the front that the bread was moldy. She just took the bread and placed it under the register. No apology no nothing. How could your staff be so lazy and uncaring to let moldy bread be out for purchase. I told her that I would just buy a newspaper. She then very rudely slammed the paper down on the counter. I let her know that that is not the newspaper that I wanted. I requested for Los angeles time and she picked up another newspaper (which looked like it had been read and put back together by a small child) and said that she only had "this one" Which WAS NOT the one I wanted. I clearly saw this lady did not care for my business so I said "never mind thanks" and she rolled her eyes at me! It is pathetic that they can't even remove old unwanted newspapers from the stands and disgusting that they can't check on their nasty moldy bread to at least toss it out. Management in this place is horrendous and I will never return. read more

Gave them my insurance card and ID and they purposely overcharged me then when I questioned it they said They will process a refund and they still shorted me $10 on top of that. Watch out people! read more

Hate this pharmacy with a passion. Can't ever get the prescriptions correct. They give me whatever needles they grab. For a rx for 25g needles, they gave me 18g. Can I stick an 18g in your arm? The heavy set female pharmacy tech needs to learn some manners; she is rude rude rude! Marybeth is the most condescending employee. Asked for a drivers license when I was dropping off a rx. She said it's policy, I think she made up her own policy. No other pharmacy has asked for a drivers license on DROP OFF. I am not picking it up you dumb ass. read more

They usually have my medicine ready when its supposed to be done. I like that you can go online and check the order status or refill. They also send you text messages when its ready or if you want a refill. They did call my dr when my insurance didnt cover a prescription. If they dont have the medicine they order it for you or let you know which cvs has it. They are usually friendly but one time I had a question and the person on the phone wasn't really listening and was rushing me. They said my medicine would be ready an a hour but it wasn't that's why I called. She told me my medicine was covered but didnt tell me how much it was. When I asked it was more then 200 for nexium. Wow! I ended up getting the over the counter nexium from Walmart. They help if you dont know where something is. They take a long time in drive thru if there's a line. It's better just to come in. This pharmacy is better then Walmart though. read more

I come here twice a week and have a cvs card and I try using all the good deals at this place until this happened...really how ghetto and unprofessional is this person who left this to two kids.. to what point are we not cvs customers when I'm here all the time..or is it because we are Asian-Mexican) This company standards are unprofessional( at least at this location). I went in to buy some cough syrup found it went to check out the girl was about to leave rolled her eyes and came back to check me out. I forgot my card and asked if I could write a check said yes rolled her eyes again, I asked for a pen she said I only have a red one you can't use that stood there she has not looked at me once. I asked again for a pen and she said I told you I have the red one I then said there are no other pens in this store. Once again rolled the eye found a pen asked me if I wanted to sign up for something still never looking at me I said no thanks handed me my receipt walked away. read more

CVS do you read these reviews? Because I've posted on F/B or send CVS Corporate an email I receive no reply. Shopping at CVS-Covina, Rowland, and Citrus I find the customer service is really bad. Either the employees are overworked or underpaid or both especially in the Pharmacy. Whenever I have to talk the Marybeth in the pharmacy, I become ill. She is patronizing, can never go the extra mile her tone while speaking to you is as if she is superior to you. She needs to be trained in customer services or she needs to be reminded that the customers come first. Perhaps she can work in the back of the pharmacy in inventory, where she can only engage with herself Remember Marybeth, the customers keep the lights on if it weren't for the fact we needed an RX, you wouldn't be working there. Please check your patronizing attitude at the entrance of the store, that fake and superior attitude isn't part of your job description. I hope management will check into this and give some diversity training. read more

You would be hard pressed to find a more incompetent and uncaring group of pharmacists than those who work at this CVS. When placing a prescription refill order online, they neglect to call your doctor for refill authorizations, and when confronted with this, demonstrate complete disregard for your situation (such as blaming the customer). They are absolutely the worst pharmacists I have ever had the displeasure to come across. The CVS at Azusa and Puente has much better service in this area. I intend to tell everyone I meet in the West Covina/Covina area about these over-paid buffoons. read more

The CVS itself is really nice...clean and new but the pharmacy sucked!! I went to refill a prescription and they said they needed to get authorization from my Dr and they would fax them. I called later still no reply...I called 2 weeks later because I forgot and they said first couldn't find my information then when they did find it they said oh we need to fax your doctor because they didn't reply...hmm they only checked two weeks later when I called. I go here a lot and never, ever, deal with rude workers in the pharmacy or at the register. They've always been well staffed and willing to help me find stuff and are nice to talk to when I check out. I think most of the people reviewing saying that they're completely rude are probably rude themselves. Maybe you guys don't know it, but being rude to an employee will make them give you the absolute minimum service. Merry Christmas! read more

New place but feels old. Slow service!

I have been to this CVS a few times since they opened. It is not an easy in and out from Citrus or Rowland. U turns are necessary. The store is clean but the service is horrible! My insurance wants me to use CVS for quick prescriptions and the mail order for refills. I went to this store Friday the 10th after my Doctor Appointment for high blood pressure. He wanted me to get a monitor either a wrist type or cuff. I went to the large pharmacy as there was not employees throughout the store or at the check out. I went to the consultation window - There was a customer at the pick-up window being waited on by a young lady, there were 2 or 3 ladies filling prescriptions or moving around the shelves and (I think the Pharmacist was on the phone and she said I will be with you in a minute.) I started feeling faint, the room started moving and my vision blurred so I asked the lady that was working the pick-up window if she could help me but no reply so I asked if there was a place I could sit down and was told that this was not a lounge! I walked out to my car and was shaking - I went back in a finally there was a man at the check-out. He said he was the manager so I told him of my treatment. He called the pharmacy to see if they were busy. I left and went to Walgreens on Grand Ave and will give them a great rating. If my insurance is going to force me to use CVS it will not be this one. I am hoping they are not all this crappy. read more

The pharmacist who helped me did her best to keep my costs low by helping me find on-line coupons. They all seem to work so efficiently and are super upbeat considering most of their customers aren't feeling well and have to scrimp to pay drug costs... which our politicians have allowed to become outrageously high. read more

I stopped by here today to fill my father's prescription, I was dropping off brunch for my boyfriend near by so I figured it would be more convenient here. I was extremely happy with the pharmacy's service, as soon as I walked up to the counter I was greeted with a smile, I dropped off the prescription and it was ready within 15 minutes! The cvs in my area takes at least 30 minutes to an hour, I will be coming here more often from now on. So happy and satisfied! read more

Practically every prescription I have had filled here has had something go wrong. It takes too many days to get a prescription filled. I shouldn't have to wait 3 or 4 days to get meds when the system says it will be ready in an hour. Then they don't even notify you if something is wrong, like the don't actually have the pills or they keep calling the wrong Dr to get a refill. Horrible. read more

Went in for sale items and he display was clearly marked $4.99 however cashier who was out of dress code, no name badge with stomach hanging out said oh no that's the wrong price. Both of the times I had inquiries at this pharmacy I was treated with disrespect. They put you on hold for 10-15 minutes and then when they finally pick up it's a monotone woman who clearly hates her life and cannot even let you ask a question before she shuts you down. When you go in person, the employees look annoyed and God forbid they don't have your prescription in stock, because they will not even try to give you an idea when it'll be back In stock or where else to get it. They don't have time for your nonsense, I guess. From what I understand, this cvs used to be Longs in the Eastland center and it's been run by the same people for over 30 years. I think maybe it would be a good idea to check your newer employees attitudes, especially when dealing with people who have been depending on your services for 30 something years. read more

This place is new, they took over a pharmacy which was in east land shopping center. We been going there since it opened for our prescription needs. Pharmacist who came from old place is not a people person, he hates to be working there, and he told me so. They will never greet you with a smile, hello or good morning. They just ignore you all when it is your turn they ask " can I help you" now English is not my first language but proper thing to say is " may I help you". This has happened multiple times, complaint to corporation does not help. Switching my business else where. read more

This store manager has to have the worst customer service in retail....she sets her owns rules according to what side of the bed she woke up on.....today I tried to buy some products that were on sale and she refused to allow me to use manufacturer coupons with sale price items then when I asked for a raincheck she was only allowing for 1 item and I told her how that didn't make sense when the item was on sale B1G1 50 percent off...she goes by Nicki and is of African desent...and I'm too the point of thinking she picks and chooses who gets what as a customer,,,thinking that she may be a bit prejudice against either other races or just couponers...not sure yet....one thing that is for sure CVS should either get rid of her for lack of knowledge or lack of customer service...or demote her....obviously she represents CVS and not in a positive way.... read more
