I'll never go back again. Today at the drive thru window an employee with "Ramon" written with sharpie on a sticker on his shirt argued with me regarding a long standing prescription that is on auto refill every 3 months since 2017. He tried every lie. They are not eligible for a refill until June. I don't see them in the system. Okay, I can get them in 2 hours. Oh, how about 20 minutes. Then, when I said to transfer them to a CVS that is less of a hell hole than the Brea one, he didn't verify the location by address so he was going to send it to the wrong location. Finally, after 20 minutes in the drive thru window, "If they are ready in 5 minutes will you keep the prescriptions here?" Hell no. It was like some psycho nightmare. Picking up a Prescription should not be an ordeal with the CVS clerk. I will never go back to this CVS and "Ramon" should be finding another job. read more

On 5/28/26 at the Brea Blvd CVS drive through window I was told by the tech that my medication was out of stock . She did not offer to check another store for availability and advised to ask my MD for an alternative. When I got home I called and left a message to inquire further. The same tech at the drive through window called me back . I asked if she could check availability in another branch . She claimed to have checked after our drive through encounter and it was not available anywhere else . As I was asking for other options she abruptly terminated the call. I had to send another message and another tech returned my call, who initially claimed the same , no availability elsewhere. I asked to speak to a pharmacist and that's when she found a branch in Anaheim Hills that had it in stock. It's horrible that I had to go through all these steps because of lack of initiative or proper training of their techs .i work in health care and often have to advocate for my elderly patients in similar situations with CVS. I have been to the CVS location several times, and now that Rite Aids are all closing, I recently transferred all of our prescriptions to this CVS. It is fairly large inside and usually well stocked with essentials, as well as a few grocery items in the freezer section. They share a parking lot with coffee bean, but I've never had any issues finding a parking spot. There are a few self checkout counters, as well as a cashier area. My experience at the pharmacy has been mostly positive. They also have a drive thru which is very convenient, especially when you're feeling sick and don't want to have to go inside. read more

I had to switch to CVS for my prescriptions because Rite Aid closed, but this was such an excellent transition. I like this location you can drive through the pharmacy and all the employees are very friendly and nice and helpful. I did have a couple issues with my phone number, they kept dialing the wrong phone number and I'm not receiving my messages for my prescriptions, but I think they figured it out. I like coming here, same parking lot as coffee bean. Enough parking, employees are friendly and nice. Everything is pretty spread out so you can find everything pretty easily. This location is a UPS Access Point, pickup location. My package was lost at this location. There is no organization of the packages, boxes are all over the place, mixed in with other items. The people I worked with are incompetent. UPS was called twice and I was told the package shows it was logged in by a worker, so it has to be there. Never have your package left here. MARISSA IS THE RUDEST TECH- see other reviews- how does she still work here? She was soooo rude - patients are her for MEDICATIONS. Maybe corporate needs to consider pharm is not her thing? I came to pick up my medication, and in front of two pharmacists and staff, I was refused service because I arrived just two minutes past the cutoff time. The pharmacy tech raised her voice at me and refused to help. Neither the manager nor the pharmacists came stepped in to appease the situation, and all lookED away as if it was her normal behavior. When I asked for a manager, I stood at the front waiting for seven minutes, and no one came. I've now asked for a manager three times and am still waiting. What do you guys think- is this ok, is this why they have 2 star reviews. Maybe get rid of Marissa? I would if it were my business. read more

Was not happy. I sent a photo order of a poster 5x7s and 4x6s to be ready in an hour. I ended up picking it up the next day and it wasn't even started. They informed me the poster maker was not working but she started the order. I went to run a few errands and came back. She gave me a discount for my troubles. I asked if they made the 5x7s and she said yes. Nope, I called from my car, and she told me, well I gave you a discount for your inconvenience. The pharmacy tech Marissa is the rudest person. I honestly am changing where I get my prescriptions because I can't stand her. She is extremely aggressive and just so incredibly rude. If anyone has the managers number (I looked for it) I would love to email or call. I pick up my sick mother's prescriptions and because I don't have her barcode she cops an attitude. I just can't believe she continues to have a job. If I behaved the way she did at my job, I'd be fired. read more

I got my flu shot here this year and the tech shot right into my bursa. I have had shoulder bursitis for two months. I am SO thankful my little one did not have any complications from his shot, because he received his shot from the same person the same day. When I came in to inform the pharmacy person they took my info but I never heard back. The person waiting in line behind me that overheard my complication said she ALSO got bursitis from this SAME location. Surely this has to be some serious issue with training. Please fix this ! And I hope this review helps someone - do not go here for your vaccines. I am still a huge proponent for vaccines! I will still get mine every year but never again at this location. The doctor told me it is extremely uncommon for techs to make this mistake - only 1 in every 10,000 people have this complication from a flu shot and I know TWO people who had this from this very location. read more

The Asian pharmacy tech was clearly unhappy with his work and is clearly shown on how he treated me when I came to pick up my prescription. He looked like he did not want to help and looked mad and was rude. I have been going to this CVS for years, but their customer service is just terrible. As soon as she opened the window, she automatically had a bitter attitude, which we let pass by. She kept on asking us to repeat ourselves, so my mom spoke louder which the pharmacy tech took as "screaming." One of the rudest techs I have ever encountered, started yelling at my mom, and banged the window closed. My mom and I were rushing in order to see my aunt in the hospital, and we explained this to her. Her response? "Okay then leave then, if it's an emergency then leave, what's the problem?" When my mom just wanted to get her medicine. The tech then said, "it's amazing that you're here despite your 'emergency'." I am in utter disbelief and shock by her blatant rudeness. I cannot recommend this pharmacy over any other cvs or Rite aide. We're all busy, but most techs and pharmacists here seem to have little desire to take time to assist in getting your meds processed for your needs. Maybe short staffed, or overworked. One or two have a positive attitude, others just come off with a 'so what's demeanor. I live across the street, but at this point, I'm considering driving to a LaHabra or Fullerton location, rather than risk getting a prescription incorrect, being filled out of haste. So they have a lottery machine that has no tickets. I tried giving the cashier lottery slips to PLAY the lottery (hot spot. Fanstay 5. Super lotto) she had to call for help. I star for Zero Customer Service! CVS promotes auto-refill for prescriptions, but they don't really auto-refill prescriptions. They attempt to, but if your prescription isn't going to be in stock before you run out, they will not contact you because their phones don't make outbound calls. My doctor changed my prescription from tablets to patches in December. I signed up for auto-refills and I ran out in January and, today I found out that I will be running out again because when I called about another prescription, I asked if I could also pick up my patches, and I learned that they didn't have them in stock and they have no way of knowing when they will be restocked. I will use my last patch today, and it should be replaced on Sunday. Maybe it will be there by the date the automated phone system provides, which is Monday, but, again, they can't confirm, and the "Automated system is unreliable," per the pharmacy clerk. They are charging us an arm and a leg, understaffing stores, eliminating customer service solutions like outbound calls, and leaving our health to chance. Greed. Corporate greed! The sad part is that consumers have no options because they have all adopted the same business model that eliminates human staff and customer service while raising prices on everything. And, sadly, we are allowing them to do it. read more

I used to deal with the old Fisher's pharmacy before the old owners decided to shut the business down. They recommended that I switch my medication's, of which there are many, to the local CVS in Brea. CVS has done nothing but give me headaches overall, and I miss the personal and knowledgeable service of fishers. Recently, CVS has made the brilliant decision to shut down between the hours of 12 and one... Exactly when most people who work are out trying to run errands such as picking up a prescription. They've also decided to start opening later which is another pain and not very convenient. Got my flu shot here today. I scheduled an appointment online but they seemed confused at the pharmacy. Prior to my appointment, I received a text to check into this location which I did. The system was down so I had to wait 20 minutes then they seemed confused because the other pharmacy in Brea had my insurance information. After all that was settled, about 30 min had passed. Finally I got my flu shot. The people were nice, but it just seemed like a slow process. Parking was easy right outside and the store was clean. Shame! Shame! Shame! What a shameful place in Brea!!! Don't waste your precious time at this terrible place. 90% of employees in this pharmacy are very rude and unkind. Medication amount is different each visits. Sometimes they packed for 3 months, sometimes they said only 1 month is allowed with ambiguous reasons. No consistency! Today I went there to pick up my med. and there was only one customer ahead of me, but the young Hispanic staff at the counter, chatted with the male customer soooooooooooo ~ long time. It was personal chat, nothing to do with customer's medication. The customer already received his med. After waiting for a long time while the female staff and male customer were chatting, I finally excused them please let me pick up my med. because I had waited for more than enough time... Then, the female CVS staff retaliated me. She insisted me to pick up only one month (usually I pick up for 3 months as prescribed by my PCP) and she even did not give my med. right away, she asked me to wait and she did other jobs and comeback and forth several times. I went there around 4:30 PM today and went out this CVS pharmacy at 5:25 PM. What did I do over there for 55 minutes? I was not able to pick up my meds. after all because she let me wait for soooooooo~ long time and my blood pressure went up high!!! What a pharmacy!!! Should I wait more than 1 hour with just one customer ahead of me in this terrible place? What a pharmacy with retaliation and neglect. What kind of employee education does the owner provide? They are so inefficient at the pharmacy here and the pharmacy staff have told me it's the store management. So I blame the store management for not getting enough staff in their pharmacy. They make mistakes, promise scripts to be filled and then don't fill them. They have horrible wait times. I'm about to give up with them. It's so close to home and convenient in that sense but they just can't seem to get their act together. This has been a problem long before COVID and sadly with COVID their service has only gotten worse. read more

Me & my son were both told to insert the swab & circle it around for 5 seconds on each nostrils then put the swab inside the tube for another 5 seconds & made us dispose the swab after.. The techs are so kind and informative the lead pharmacist named "Sarah" so rude and wow what a sense of entitlement. She couldn't figure something out and instead of helping me out she just leaves the desk and asks her tech to assist her without even explaining.
