Ever been a visitor to a city you are not familiar with and just wanted a couple of items you knew you could get from your favorite drugstore chain? YES! That was why I was here! I wanted some water and a couple of snacks to tide us over until we got onboard our ship. This walk didn't seem too far from the hotel, so off I went! There was a reason there were like NO PEOPLE anywhere. The winds were whipping and it was more than a wee bit chilly! I should have Uber-ed, I guess, but hoofing it in the wind, in the cold and what felt like up hill both ways, WHAT AN ADVENTURE! This store was laid out different from the CVS Box Stores in Dallas, but was able to find all I wanted. No two CVS stores seem to ever be the same. The water prices were significantly higher than Dallas and actually were not much different from what the hotel was selling them. At least I had a great cooling off power walk out of it! The other item that kind of took a bite out of me, was there is a Bag Fee in Boston. How absolutely ironic! The city that took on the King of England over fees and taxation has a "bag" fee. Poor Samuel Adams, I bet he is rolling in his grave! In his honor, I'm rebelling with taking down a star from this otherwise 5 star establishment. (But I'm giving it back as it sure isn't CVS' fault that the local taxing governments have forgotten their history!) read more

This store is conveniently located and overall well maintained-clean. Seemingly nice staff- they were assisting another customer and holding friendly conversation...but I assume because of the extended conversation they didn't notice there was only 1 self checkout machine working until an extremely long line had formed. Once noticed they fixed it. read more

The pharmacy is fast but the head pharmacist Jenna is very rude - I called to see if the Seaport CVS has the medication in stock before ordering it, she immediately replied "no" (without looking it up) and then when asked for a different CVS that does have it in stock, she replied "none within 20 miles" and hung up. I know this isn't true because I called another CVS nearby and the technician was very kind and helpful - the CVS in South Boston (1 mile away) has the med in stock. I work in healthcare so I know how frustrating it can be sometimes but this was extremely dismissive and upsetting for a relatively easy request. read more

I live around the block and love the pharmacy staff. I know there is a national shortage of pharmacists, so I appreciate the high caliber of the staff especially head pharmacist Jenna who is great. I have had all of my vaccines here as well as prescriptions filled. Staff is very efficient and professional. read more

Pharmacy is closed between 1:30-2pm for staff break everyday...not sure why they don't stagger the break times, but sure. However even if I show up at 1:22pm, I'll be denied service and told to return later because they're having lunch break soon. Come anytime close to lunch/closing and you may be denied service based on their perception of your prescription's urgency. Happens to me about 75% of the time when I come to this location read more

This CVS is very close to my office so I go once per week. Yesterday I was having difficulty with my card--I had a BOGO coupon but it wasn't scanning at all. I was trying to buy $10 shampoo so it was making a bit of a difference if the coupon worked or not. The manager was SO helpful. He pulled me aside and checked me out in the Pharmacy. He explained that I had two phone numbers associated with my card and that's why the coupon wasn't working. He really bent over backwards to make sure I got my free shampoo! This was on Valentine's Day mind you, so they were hoppin. They always have plenty of employees trying to help in general. read more

I have had bad really bad customer service. They post prices on sale and then when you get to the cashier they tell they're not and they say rudely. This has happened to me twice which prompted me to write this given how rude they are. read more

Staff was really friendly - a woman helped me find cotton rounds since apparently they are located in more than one spot within the store. Sucks how self-checkout is towards the entrance door that isn't facing towards Seaport Blvd - the same lady who helped me was the only person at register on that side of the store so the line got long super quickly. Though for all I know after I left, she could've directed customers by pointing out there were other open registers at the back-end of the store. read more

I wanted to put a review here to say this is one of the cleanest CVS' I've ever been to. There is very little clutter at the registers too which I appreciate and you can tell they wipe the card screens regularly. Very organized. As a former CVS employee, I will say that the company does NOT treat employees well at all, and they take advantage of the Sunday schedule and not paying a decent wage. It's disturbing and I hate their policies and their way of running their businesses, especially when it comes to cutting hours when they shouldn't. Today I had a pleasant interaction with the pharmacist and I wanted to give kudos as I could tell it was really busy and lots of issues happened in a short period of time but they kept it together and professional. read more

I come to this CVS about 2 times a week because my girlfriend works around there. Every time I go in this specific CVS I'm always being followed around. I've had this happen with many employees now, and the staff is never around to help with the register. read more

This is my neighborhood CVS & I frequent it on a weekly basis. While the general staff is very friendly & helpful, the Pharmacy Manager is extremely rude. Every interaction I have had with her has been unpleasant. I once overheard her berate a co-worker & I have witnessed her being rude to other customers as well. I would like to alert management of this issue in the hopes that this situation can be improved. read more

This was my second bad experience at this pharmacy location. The first was out of their hands they were out of my medication for over a month, so I went to a different location. Today I called ahead to make sure that they had the medication and walked over. I got to the counter and the woman told me it would be a 4 hour wait time for my script. I asked her why so long and she replies "we have other more important prescriptions to fill, so this is a store policy." I'm sorry, but any PRESCRIBED medication is prescribed for a reason, I cannot function at work without this medication. I understand that antibiotics and things of that nature are important to have, but to tell your customer that the prescription they need is not important is just rude. I then have the manager come over to finish filling my script. She asks me for my insurance, I told her that it should be on file as I got this same script filled at CVS last month. She then tells me it will be $60.00 to fill when it is normally $15.00. I ask her why, she said I'm no longer covered under caremark, I explain to her that I was covered last month so I was confused. She then says in a very rude manner "well what I am trying to explain to you is that they have recently changed the number" Which is obviously not her fault, but the demeanor in which they say things really needs to be reevaluated. I won't be returning to this pharmacy, and I don't suggest anyone else to go here either. read more

Th CVS in the Seaport District is the best drug store I have ever been in. The store is immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful. Hannah, the pharmacy manager is very knowledgeable and takes time to get to know her customers. We are lucky to have this excellent store in our neighborhood. read more
