To further magnify the shortcomings, the automated system is a crime against technology and so inconsistent that it's virtually useless. The only reason I haven't transferred prescriptions elsewhere before now is that pharmacies have become like airlines and car dealerships--no matter which one you pick, you know it's going to an utterly miserable experience. However, this particular pharmacy somehow manages to go the extra mile on consistently under-delivering (despite markedly lowered expectations) and ensuring that virtually every interaction is the rough equivalent of a root canal.

They didn't consider me a customer because I last filled a prescription three months ago. I became the bottom priority. I had called earlier that day around 2 pm and was told that they had enough to fill the prescription. Two hours later I was called to say their supply ran out. That was hard to believe. The Pharm tech told me she understood and was on the same med and she couldn't get hers refilled. Again, hard to believe. I was a regular customer in the past and do my vaccines there. I explained that I'm going out of town and need to take care of my nephew who is in hospice. I won't go there again. It's like having to join a country club to get a prescription filled.

Ashley was adamant about not honoring the advertised price saying this was information from years ago and swore there were dates on the page. No dates whatsover as this is their current website. Also, she kept repeating herself and when I tried to explain, hung up on me. She seemed most flustered and appeared to want a reason to end the phone call. Say what? This is deceptive advertising for flu shots. I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for deceptive trade practices. This is an issue of principle. I've worked retail and understand it gets busy, so I like to think I am a bit more patient than the average customer. I've visited Walmart Pharmacy on several occasions to pick up my dog's prescription. They can NEVER find his prescription. Out of the 4 different techs that have helped me on many different visits only 1 is able to find his prescription. The first time I went, the tech was obviously in a bad mood. The wait time was fairly long, but like I said Walmart is a busy place and there were quite a few people ahead of me. When I got to the front, I told her I recieved a notice that my dog's prescription was ready. The lady looked up my dog's prescription by name--no luck, under my name (perhaps the vet put it under my name..ok?) --no luck, my dog's birthday--no luck. "Well, it's not here" the tech said as she looks past me to wave in the next customer. Wait! I asked her if there was somebody else we could ask---"perhaps they put it somewhere else because it was called in by a vet." She looked peeved and told me to go to the service line and they could help me. Great, another line. Stood in that line for twenty minutes. The tech working this window was even less helpful. Not sure what abyss my dog's prescription fell into, but once again no luck in finding it. This lady told me to come back in 10mins to speak to a 3rd tech because he "knows where everything is at." Okay... I guess I could walk around. By now I have spent an hr trying to get my dog's prescription. I came back in exactly 10mins and stood toward the side where the 2nd tech could see. She did, and waved me to the front. Yes! This tech must know the super secret way of looking up prescriptions in thier system. "What's your dog's birthday", he asked. I told him and what do you know-- popped up right away. Walked over to the line of prescription bags and there it is. Thank you! Paid and done. Unfortunatley, I've had to do this dance with walmart pharmacy everytime! I've gotten to the point where I let people go ahead of me just to avoid wasting time with certain techs. I think I will be making the extra 10 min drive to the next nearest walmart just to see if I can experience a better walmart pharmacy.

For instance, the pharmacist forgot to include needles for my syringes even though I had paid out of pocket. Always double check your prescription at pick up to ensure that everything is included in the package. An example of great service is that twice out of the three times I have been to the pharmacy, my medication has been ice packed for me which has been a great note of attention to detail. A lot of the medication provided by the pharmacy is not covered by insurance so it can get a bit pricey. Be sure to double and triple check with your insurance beforehand.

I started off today at their gas station which has gas for the same price as Costco but they make it so complicated to use the pump. I had to link a credit card to my Sams Club account while standing at the pump since they wouldn't let you just tap a random card after verifying my membership. That sucked...and I like to change the cards I use sometimes. So then I looked in the warehouse store and after 40 years at Costco lets just say Sam's Club is depressing. Price's were ok...but it was all old and run down and kinda trashy. One thing I did like was being able to order food from the cafe via the app and go pick it up...but the hot dog doesn't hit like Costco. You bite into it and it does not have that snap of the casing. Taste wise or was okay...and the drink is about 30oz (twice the size of Costco which will make sense as you walk around the store and see the customers that shop there). The cafe needs to add some healthier options. But I guess that's their clientele. Soooo...at $15-$25 for a year membership you get what you pay for. I did really enjoy the gas savings and will get my membership fee back 10x with that savings and maybe when I have a BBQ or go camping, i'll stock up on meat which seemed pretty well priced.

I was searching for one item and one item only...a case of Topo Chico sparkling mineral water, which is bottled in Monterrey, Mexico. It is known for its crisp carbonation and distinctive mineral profile. Topo Chico appears unique to the South, I believe, a I have not seen it anywhere else. Topo Chico is fan favorite in Texas especially. As the story goes, the water's origin is tied to a legend involving the daughter of Emperor Moctezuma, who was said to have been totally revitalized after drinking from the spring at Cerro del Topo Chico.
