Do NOT go there for a prescription as you might find yourselves in the hands of the pharmacist who goes by the name ARSEMA. When I arrived at her pharmacy counter, I was the only customer there, and my usual polite self. She took about 15 minutes to get to me, and then diddled with the script behind the counter for about half an hour (she's slower than a chain being pushed uphill) and told me she could not fill it -- that she "couldn't" fill the combination of those two drugs -- the second being filled by the CVS store which sent me to this store in the first place since it had the drug I needed in stock. I said I'm not asking you to fill both of them -- only this one. She said it didn't matter, that she "couldn't" fill it if I was getting the other medication ANYwhere. I asked if she had looked at my record in the system -- that she would see that I had been getting this precise combination of medications for YEARS. She said yes, she saw that, but she "couldn't" do it. I'm actually beginning to think there might be a new law that no one knows about but her. When she realized I wasn't going to just go away, she said she didn't have any. Lie number 2, the first being that she "couldn't." I said yes you do, the system showed that you do. By this time, a line is developing. She said she would have to call my doctor. After waiting on a customer, she did. Another half hour, I'm still sitting there. She said they were going to call her back. I asked her if she realized there were two versions of the drug being filled at the other pharmacy -- and that mine is the time-release version which is completely safe for use with the drug I was asking for. She said, yes, she realized that. (I don't think she did, but she didn't dare back down.) Well, in the absence of some regulation that forbids it, why was she refusing me? No answer. I called the doctor's office -- they were astounded at what was going on. They got the doctor to give my situation attention as soon as possible rather than making return calls at the end of the day. They called her back and of course told her it was legitimate and needed for her to fill my prescription. I'd already lost 2 hours. THEN, she starts talking to me from all the way at the end of her counter, so all the other people who are now standing in line can hear her. Unprofessional. And she's telling me I have to wait my turn -- behind 4 or 5 people in line. I made some perfectly POLITE objection to her about it -- at which point the teenybopper at the front of the line at the counter had the audacity to shout to me that "That's what lines are for. You should have gotten in line like everyone else." She should have intervened and told him he didn't know my situation, that I'd already been waiting two hours. No. She laughed!! I'm practically speechless at this point. His funny bone was activated by her encouragement, and he shouted to me that I should get in line and take a Prozac. STILL no adult intervention from her. For the next twenty minutes or so, while she is doing whatever HE requires, they engaged in giggly gossip, some about me -- My body doesn't work, but my ears do. Finally, when he left, she realized she couldn't justify making me wait even longer, so she said she "could" now fill my prescription. I asked her why she had tried to make me believe it was a regulatory issue in the beginning -- she claimed she didn't. She said there was no rule, she just didn't feel comfortable with me having both. IT'S NOT HER JOB TO FEEL COMFORTABLE about what 1 doctor, 3 or 4 PAs, numerous pharmacists, and my other doctors have felt comfortable with FOR YEARS. I only went into so much detail here because it is almost beyond belief what this woman did to me and God knows what she might do to you. DON'T GO THERE. She's slow, incompetent, rude, a liar, and completely unprofessional. I am only shocked about one thing. I said "Thank you" when I left. THAT was a lie. Do NOT GO THERE. ARSEMA. Whoever is her boss should be ashamed!!! read more
