The only reason this place is still here is because it's the only 24-hour pharmacy in the area. Pharmacists are nice but the place is just perpetually understaffed. If you need to use the restroom, bring your own TP or use your hands if you dare because there's a 90% chance there's none in there. And they are almost perpetually out-of-stock on certain necessities, such as the 100-ct. packages of Mucinex. Best time to come is later in the evening, after most of the idiot drivers going to the Aldi next door are gone. But there's still a few of them even then. It's Arcadia, after all. read more

She called another CVS right away, asked for the cost, and made sure they had my cell so that that could text me when it was ready. I was so stressed when she first told me there was hold on my prescription and the meds weren't available. But her quick actions and sweet demeanor, made all the difference. I find it's because the customers always want to talk and the ones who slow the line down don't speak fluent English. They are always asking about items on their receipt. I purchased a Visa Vanilla gift card worth $100 at this CVS location around 12:30am of 12/15/2022. I was standing on the line while the register is unattended. The cashier was talking with another staff while stocking. Couple of people behind me and she saw us but resume talking to the other employee. She asked me to go to the automated self checkout machine and I told her, I do not believe it is possible to purchase it on a automated machine. She assured me it works so I did. Sure enough, during checkout, I got an error. She came by and tried to use her code to override the error. The machine printed a receipt but stated that there was an error. She said to come at 8am to talk to the manager if there's a problem. I asked for her name, her name is Andrea. I went back to my car... I felt unsettled so I went ahead and open the card to check the balance. I do not want to gift someone with an empty gift card so sure enough, the gift card would not work and I couldn't check my balance. I called visa and they said they wouldn't be able to help and suggested to contact the store and ask for refund. All this problem could have been avoided if the cashier just listened and stopped being lazy. She was too lazy to go behind register. Now I'm pretty sure I'm out $105 and I'll never see that again. I am surprised to see such negative reviews here. I needed a physical form done fast and my home doctor is booked in advance so I googled physicals and CVS popped up. I decided to do the minute clinic and it was super easy to make the appointment and quite literally I waited 30 seconds after checking in on the kiosk. I did make an appointment ahead of time so it was an easy process. I had a Ms. Jessica FNP do my physical and she was professional and maintained my privacy. She was both thorough and swift in her assessment skills. After the physical assessment, I went to pick up some benadryl for my daughter. Cashiers were plenty kind enough. I'm also trying my best not to use the "race card" here, but it seems to be a particular ethnicity that treats me this way, and I see them treating those people of the same ethnicity differently. I've been a loyal customer of this CVS for many years due to its convenient location a few blocks away from my parents' house. Trust, I'm confident I spent thousands of dollars on random tidbits throughout the years - from nail polish, snacks to poster board and shampoo. However, today they failed me. I dropped off my prescription at 4PM and told the man (I forgot his name) behind the counter that I will be back around 8PM to pick it up. He told me that he would put in the system "7PM to ensure I get it by 8PM." To my utmost disappointment, when I lined up behind 6 people at 9PM the young lady (forgot her name too) behind the counter told me they were "backed up" and would have my prescription ready in 15 minutes. I browsed the store and went across to Pavilions until 9:35PM giving them more than enough time to reach over their little cupboards and put my meds in a little bag for me to take home. But, instead I find out that I am only now being acknowledged and that she will begin to process my order. What. The. Fvck. I sat down by the blood pressure measuring machine and calmed myself down because I was very close to having a b*tch fit. Gave them a generous 10 minutes to miraculously make my prescription appear and call my name over the PA system, where they once again failed me leading to this glorious review. Time is money. This store is also located in the plaza across the street from LA Fitness. Anyways, I am surprised to see such low ratings for this place (2.5 stars overall rating at the time of this review). I never refill my prescription at CVS and only come to CVS for purchasing over the counter medication, beauty products (deodorant can actually be pretty cheap here if you use your coupons and your extra bucks just right) and other misc. items if I am in the area and need something right away (example would be band aids let's say). Each of my transactions at the cash register w/ employees have always been pretty standard. Also just have to mention that this CVS is unique in that it is open 24 hours as well.
