I visited this place today shortly before 2pm to pickup a few medical items for my mom. After I was done at the self checkout, I realized I had another coupon I wanted to use so I went back for the item. I self checked out again and unfortunately, I read the coupon incorrect so I was stuck in the tender screen. I left the self checkout counter to go to the associate behind the counter. To my knowledge, I was incorrect with my coupon. BUT, what I didn't appreciate was the SHITTY ATTITUDE I received for an honest mistake I overlooked. I don't appreciate the *sigh* then asking me "did I buy this much?", then I see her tossing some other small item in front of me. Then as she walked to the self checkout out counter to void my transaction, I apologized again and I still get an attitude. LADY, I have been to this location MANY TIMES and I know you have been working here for a while already. So I ask, what is with this associates attitude towards customers? Is this just today? Cause if you hate your job, then customer service is no longer for you... Sadly, is I conversed with this associate before, she is really sweet and we are "island" people so I'm surprised the "nice" of her is no longer in her presense. I have been coming to this place for years and love the staff. A good business is usually defined by dedicated staff who know their customers well, establishing trust that cultivates good relationships. I hate to say it, but one of their lead female pharmacists was not considerate enough to address my urgency for practical reasons. She did not even ask around if I was familiar with other staff to establish my Identity. I know she's just doing her job and an employee, but what happened to her people skills? This CVS has been part of the community for many years. They are always well stocked and seem to always have what we need. Prescriptions are generally ready in 20 minutes and the business seems to run smoothly. The employees are helpful and greet the customers as they enter the business. The pharmacy employees are available to answer questions and know their medicines well. I like that the pharmacy drop off window is near the front of the store. When I don't feel well, I don't want to walk all the way to the back. read more

I went in to pic up an RX IN mid October . I was told they had enough to fill my prescription . So I waited . 10 minutes later the pharmacist Priyanka called me to the drop off window was rude and shouted at me publicly and told me she couldn't fill my RX. She said would lose her license. I asked why? My RX was legitimate prescribed by a board certified MD. It was for Ivermectin. I have an auto immune disorder and can't take many meds everyone else can. She gave me 2 weeks worth and told me that was all she would ever fill. She said The FDA did not authorize this med. I've NEVER had any pharmacist over ride any RX EVER prescribed to me. This review is specifically for the sales associate Dayna H. I always end up at the self checkout machine b/c this cvs it seems like is a bit understaffed an no one is initially at the checkout counter. And without fail I have issues scanning smaller sized items like eyeliner/greeting cards plus the lightweight items don't get detected in the bagging area space. And I HATE when an employee has to eventually come over and fix the situation b/c it comes off as such an inconvenience for them. Not with Dayna who works here. She really went above and beyond to help me out w/the self checkout and an issue with my app and purchase. Ok so get a load of this! I went to this location to get a prescription filled and the lady helping me was nice but had told me my insurance will not cover the medication. She was looking at the computer trying to get it to work but no. So I drove to Rite Aid with it and low and behold no problems it went through. I was with Savon for years, and they were fine. Then they switched to CVS and slowly deteriorated. Yet, I kept refilling my RXs there because it was convenient - literally 2 minutes from my house. The lines are always horrendously long, they are always understaffed. The people are not all that friendly. Half the time my RXs weren't ready when they were supposed to be. The last straw for me was when I called to check on an RX that should have been ready the previous day (and of course it wasn't when I went in there) and the girl on the phone told me, "Ma'am, times are tough for everybody. We are really backed up here, and i'm sorry that your RX can't be the first one we process." OMG!!! After that fiasco, I decided to finally make the switch to Target Pharmacy. This CVS looks a bit run down but customer service wise, I didn't have an issue. I wanted to try another pharmacy for comparison sake and they took down my information quickly and even looked up my medication to see how much the pricing is before they filled my prescription. (I think that's better than filling the prescription and shocking the customer with the price after it's time to pay up). I also dropped off some photo prints from my kayaking trip. I was a bit apprehensive since I wasn't sure if people still developed film considering we're in the digital camera age. However, the girl who helped me out said she would be done in an hour and that they can put the prints in a cd-rom as well. After a couple of hours, I went in to collect my meds and my camera, and everything was done with ease. For some reason they ask for your CVS card every 5 seconds but if it can save me grief then by all means, I'm glad it's attached to my keychain. read more

The absolute worse customer service operation. They state out of stock when i go in for a prescription on october 6 that was ordered Sept 29 no notice to me just surprise. i told them to transfer to another CVS. today Oct 14 they still have not done and still out of stock. Call them? joke- i have tried 3x and have been on hold 15 minutes with their stupid voice mail system This has always been the worse service oriented place to get prescriptions filled. i have not gone there in years but thought i would give it a shot for convenience. mistake. will never go there again. out of stock for 2 weeks and no communication to the patient unless u come in and ask. they suck. So next day I have the doctor send the Rx to Costco instead. Costco pharmacist calls me and says the product is available OTC. I am so confused, how many stars I should give to this location. A person like me who just gives 5 stars for little kindness or good service got really confused and give up on my thoughts. I don't have much experience with CVS cuz moving from North we always used to of Walgreen everywhere. Unfortunately, not many Walgreens is conveniently located close to Yorba Linda and hwy 91 area so I didn't have a choice going there. Basically, I went there to pick up my prescription and switch the pharmacy which is supposed to be a very simple procedure. A person at the cashier, first of all, took forever to spell my name, date of birth was already on the computer. I gave her my BOA debit card so she can read my name easily but she still insists not able to read alphabet from the bank card (shocking and concerned same time) I am speechless and her behavior was not friendly at all but she was very nice with other customers, maybe I was the new customer. I end up calling the pharmacist and ask her help and Uyen came I she literally apologizes for the the inconvenience, gave me 3 pills (cuz Dr prescription was already in their system) and told me I can come back to pick up rest of the medicine when Switching the pharmacy procedure done. She explained to me about refills and CVS Txt system etc. She changed my total bad experience to a happy visit. It's so true one person can be built or ruin company reputation. Ok. So, this is my 2nd review about here (which I've never done). I went in today and Priyanka (pharmacist) was yelling at all the staff, in front of all the customers! Why is she still there? Everyone else is so kind. Last time I dealt with her, I sat and waited 1.5 hrs to fill my rx (was told 10-20 mins and no other costumer was there waiting). She's a miserable person. Service is usually with a smile. They get really busy...but instead of wondering if your script is filled you can receive a text alert. I would give them a 5 star rating if their estimated times were within an hour of the actual times for filling my scripts. I don't mind a 5 hour wait...but they should say 5 hours instead of an hour. as the tyrone biggums in me was yearning for the next fix, the need for some painkillers couldn't overshadow my overall need for my right hand. as i look at it taking its long siesta in a emergency room issued sling, i regret taking it for granted in the past. it shifts my car from 5th to 6th gear. it writes the checks and pays the bills. it knows how to use chopsticks. my right hand is all about business. it brings home the bacon. and all due to fractured clavicle, my right arm and hand are rendered useless for the time being. and what the hell does my left hand do? it's off downing whiskey and shots of patron. it's off pumping around with his phallic friend. it's off running amok in the nightlife grabbing ass. sigh. the team needs you, mr. right hand. so to aid in the relief and recovery of my collar bone and soon regain the use of my right arm again, i picked up my prescription of painkillers at cvs. it's a semi small store, but the best part is that the pharmacy is within 10 feet of the front door. and with my bruised hip, i appreciated the close proximity. no line to put in my prescription as well. the pharmacists are friendly and waste no time. "jon" takes one look at my sling and then at the type of painkiller i'm prescribed. he reassures me, "don't worry, buddy. i know you're in pain. we're bumping you up and you'll be out of here in ten minutes." bangin'. my prescription was ready in under ten minutes and i couldn't be happier. let me rephrase that. my prescription was ready in under ten minutes and after taking my first dose, i couldn't be happier. I seriously have a love-hate relationship with this pharmacy. I've had great experiences with some of the employees over the years, which I would give a 4 star rating to; however, I've had awful experiences that have almost left me crying. A certain employee has made several mistakes, usually resulting in me waiting around for 30 minutes extra. Sometimes she forgets part of the prescription and others she enters the information so slowly, it's painful. I'm sure there's better, but I've gone here for so long, I'll continue to go. Michelle in the pharmacy is awesome. My insurance company is not easy to deal with, but that does not deter Michelle. The doctor's office don't always call back either. She will tirelessly call and call until gets the answer that she needs to provide her customers with the best possible care. What also amazes me is how she knows so many customers by name. Allie (spelling?) is great too. One night I went into the store and heard someone singing. It was Allie who was singing and stocking shelves at the same time. If I could give a lower rating than one star, I would. Plain and simply put, this cvs is poorly run. In addition to that, they are rude. A female pharmacist, mouthed off to my 65 year old mother! The prescriptions are never ready on time, and in addition to that, they have filled prescriptions incorrectly! Just last week, they have the wrong prescription to my neighbor. Thank god, she noticed that the pills looked different than her usual and took them back,,,, only to discover that they had given her the wrong medicine. The customer service here is very bad.
