Definitely disappointed, even for my low CVS standards. First off, I have never seen so many employees at once at a CVS! And yet they got absolutely nothing done, left everything in the way and maybe me, as a customer, extremely uncomfortable. In all honesty, at a CVS I usually just keep my head down and look around / get whatever I need. I am really writing this review because of my experience today in the store. I walked in around 3:30 pm today, a Friday. I would expect the store to be clean and ready for the Friday - Sunday rush of people but this store had merchandise everywhere that employees were "putting back". The employees through the store were sitting on the floor, moving stock already on shelves around when I walked by and then the second I left would stop and go back to their phone/talking to each other. Now I'm writing this post because at one point I got extremely uncomfortable around the associates. There were two employees in the seasonal aisles that had seemingly barricaded the aisle by putting their stock carts on both sides of the aisle. Now I was in this store was almost 35 minutes and these two female employees did not stock the shelves with items from the carts on both sides of the aisle. I went down the aisle to look and grab a few things as one employee started tickling the other with a feather like item and I was BEYOND uncomfortable. To clarify these two employees made me as a customer uncomfortable, got no stock moved after barricading customers out of an entire aisle on a Friday afternoon and spent the entire shift just straightening random boxes to look busy (additionally some of these items were 90% off but listed full price so they weren't even taking the time to look into the products). When I came to the front to do self checkout there was another customer doing a return and she was mad that she bought an outdated product at which point the employees started harassing HER for buying it! read more

11/2/21 This place had a lot of things, but the one thing I really needed was completely out. Garnier R2 seems to be pretty popular and many stores don't or can't keep it on the shelf like the other hair dye products. This can be a good thing, but a bad thing too. Nevertheless, when I was looking for this product, I couldn't find it. I did get help from an associate who checked the back of the store, but they were out of stock. I did end up finding this product at Target, but I do appreciate this employee's help. read more

This place is extremely hit-or-miss. About one-quarter of the shelves are empty, and another one-quarter of the shelves are locked up behind glass. They are preventing more in sales than they are preventing in losses. If I see something locked up behind glass, I just go to another store or order it online. I don't even waste my time waiting for someone to unlock it. There is nobody at the register, so you have to use self-checkout. Always get a printed receipt when using self-checkout. Compare what you buy to what is on the receipt before walking out the door. If you forget to scan something, or if the system has an error and doesn't scan something, it is very unlikely they will let you go back and pay for the item or leave it behind. These days businesses are very likely to just go ahead and charge you with shoplifting even if there was an honest misunderstanding. Walmart is notorious for falsely charging people with shoplifting. Since when does going to the store have to be running a gauntlet? Lousy company, lousy service. read more

I've been coming here for years and always experience good customer service. The pharmacy staff are very helpful, especially if you have questions for them. Sometimes the pharmacy line gets a bit long and slow moving, but that doesn't happen regularly. As far as the non-pharmacy portion of the store, I'd say it's on par with any other CVS. Plus, the other shops in this plaza are pretty convenient and accommodating. read more

This CVS is located in the Van Dorn Plaza and is quite outdated in terms of its aesthetics. They carry the usuals, including beverages, snacks, cold/flu medications, toiletries, hair products, magazines, holiday products, photo section, etc. While the pharmacists/pharm techs are nice, it's really a pain in picking up the meds. The wait is usually long, as it seems to be 1-2 people on shift. Even going on off hours, there's always some type of a backup (whether it's getting more cash for the registers, waiting for another tech/employee to show up, waiting until the staff is done with their phone conversations/consultations, etc.). +long waits at the pharmacy +located in the Van Dorn Plaza read more

I just moved to the area and I actually need to go to CVS quite often for medical supplies. I really like most of the pharmacy staff and the manager is very sweet. My husband has said there is a man that works the pharmacy (20's, tall), who is very rude every tine he picks up. I have however encountered 2 situations that have made me uncomfortable. It wasn't due to the staff, but on two separate occasions, a man was shoplifting and chased out of the store. Another incident was a woman who just stared screaming at the self-checkout. She really freaked me out. I think they should have night security to be honest. Otherwise, I'd give 4 stars read more

I wish I could review all of the components of this place separately. The pharmacy is the only reason I come here and I would give them five stars if I could. They're always kind, and even if the line is long at least everyone is competent enough to do their job. The store manager and staff however- is another story. I've never experienced a store that is ALWAYS in distress, whether there are 10 people in line or none at all! There's typically one cashier and a manager trying to run the place and it's constant chaos. I plan to make phone calls when I get in line here because I've never been in and out quickly, even though this isn't a busy area! If you have a CVS on another part of your daily commute, I'd try avoiding this one. UPDATE: Went in to grab my 1 hour pictures and the cashier working would not grab the envelope for me because he doesn't work in that department. When I walked in the guy was chilling by the counter with his phone. I needed help and saw him talking to a friend or customer I don't know about their haircut.... when finally he was done with chat asked him question about the battery he said " go to the end" with a attitude. Anyways when i got the batteries saw his supervisor, the guy had to take a shit so the supervisor had to cover, she scanned the stuff i bought and at the end with a smile she said have a great evening I told her you have a better customer service not your associate, i was waiting to hear something but she had a weird laugh and i walked out. One of the worst cvs pharmacy I've ever had to deal with they take 3-5 day to fill prescriptions an sometimes they can't even receive them right from the Doctor so they just won't fill it an say they don't have it just cause they don't wanna do the work if you where smart you'd go somewhere else read more

Odd, I thought I had already reviewed this CVS. Oh well. It's somewhat on the small side, but I've been able to find what I need. The cashiers are friendly and folks working there have been helpful when I needed to find certain items. I was last in this CVS to stock up on Christmas cards for next year. (gotta love the post-Christmas sales). Their selection was still decent and the holiday stuff was still somewhat organized, compared to some other CVS locations which were completely picked through. read more

Before I even checked the store, I went online to find a certain item to see if they had this makeup in stock. And they did. So I drove 10 miles to this location. I was walking around trying to find the nyx section, and couldn't seem to find it. So I asked a lady where it is, she said "well that would be in the front over there next to the nail polishes" she said it in a way like I couldn't understand English. So I went to the front and still couldn't find it, until I saw a HUGE stock of boxes, covering the nyx stand. So I pushed it aside and none of the makeup was stocked! So I just looked around other makeup brands similar to what i was looking for. She asked me if I found what I was looking for. I told her that the site said this location had it in stock but it really didn't. She just walked away saying "okay". Then I proceeded to look at other lipsticks. There was a tester open so I did a small swatch on my hand. And she comes out of no where and says "DONT DO THAT WE HAVE TESTERS!" I responded to her like she was a child and said "IT ISSSSS A TESTER" Then she stopped bothering me. This place is under stock with a lot of items and very dirty. I get my medication from here, and each time the people behind the pharmacy counter always seems friendly, as well as the ones behind the regular counters up front. It's a smaller CVS then others, but it still has a good amount of stuff to look through. I'm just happy this one is within walking distance from my apartment building. read more

I tried to use the CVS delivery service for the first time. I am a senior disabled person and wanted to order a few items since I am unable to get around easily. It was difficult to tell if the order had gone through or not and never received a confirmation that an order was received. Then, I heard nothing from CVS. Not a little notice that the items had been shipped. I figured that I was not going to receive anything. Then, all of a sudden I get a notice from CVS that it was going to be delivered today. Most of the items were great, but I had ordered a set of different eye shadows which arrived broken, colors were cracked and blended with the other colors. CVS could have bubble-wrapped my eye shadow kit so it wouldn't arrive broken and not very easy to use now. Never again. read more

Since I moved here I have been to a couple CVSs and this is the best one. Yes, it is small. Yes, the pharmacy is not 24 hrs. My old CVS were I used to live by was huge and all that but it was a freaking mad house with horrible service. This CVS... The people are nice. Pharmacists are eager to help. I have never written a review before but my experiences with the employees at this pharmacy have been terrible. I would give it 0 stars if possible. My prescriptions are always late. One time when I mentioned having multiple bad experiences with late prescriptions, the employee did not seem to care. In fact, when I stepped aside to wait, she chuckled at me. Ordered curbside pickup for some vital supplements for my fibromyalgia. I was in the midst of a nasty fibro flare up and it hurt to walk, which is why I ordered curbside in the first place. The order said it would be ready within 59 minutes, 90 minutes later, it still was not ready. I called and the employee knew nothing about it. He then said he would get it ready, 20 minutes later, still nothing. I called back and the same man picked up and said that it was almost ready, then said I had to come inside to scan my phone. I told him it was a curbside order and was supposed to be delivered to my car, he said "I am just an employee I cant di anything about it" then put me on hold for 5 minutes while, I could hear him complaining to another employee about me the whole time. He picked the phone up and said I still had to come in, I told him that I could not due to my medical condition and it was a CURBSIDE order, then asked to speak to a manager...well, I guess he got a promotion in those 5 minutes because he responded that he was the manager. He did not know how curbside delivery worked, refused to provide the service, and I left without the items that I needed. I will NEVER shop this location again. read more

This location is absolutely terrible. The store is never stocked, there's usually only one employee at the front and can never find one when you need assistance. Not to mention they are rude. I had a cashier get an attitude with me today be cause she couldn't differentiate the clear difference between YES and NO. Completely unacceptable. The store itself is ok, and the employees are helpful, but the pharmacy NEVER has my prescriptions in stock. They always have to order it. This is for medicines I need right away. I used the one on Kenmore Ave. and they always had it in stock. Not sure why this particular pharmacy is never fully supplied. If you use this pharmacy, I would call ahead to make sure they have what you need in stock. read more
