Prescriptions are never ready on time (frequently days late), often overpriced, and the staff seems completely clueless. I've had to stop by 4 or 5 times in person to speak to a pharmacist who could fill my prescription. The customer service is some of the worst I've encountered. My 11 year old niece is smarter than these people. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

There stacked in front of it were three large boxes, which apparently was the restock ready (sort of) to go onto the shelves, but just never got there. So, you just do what you have to do, or go somewhere else (Dollar General next time?) to buy. I bought. You certainly can find the things on the shelves, other than the gift paper, which are too highly priced, even on their sale prices (usually buy one get one 50% off--which requires buying two, but that equates to 25% off per item). As an aside, there is one lady in the pharmacy that is handling my refills, etc. However, the prices were just getting up there, and not due to my wants, but just my needs, so I have moved all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy which is not really close to my Johns Island home.

My biggest grumble is how accessing the store is inconvenient. Your best bet is to enter from Savannah Hwy's northbound lane, then exit at that same spot. It's almost impossible to make a left turn onto Main Rd. Most of the traffic woes are due to the terrible intersection design, but by the time I drive and park at Walgreens, I realize I could've saved time going to another pharmacy. Still, if you plan your drive just right, the store itself isn't bad and will meet your needs.

A store employee was nice enough to yell from the front of the store "YEP! They closed at 6!!" As if I got there at 7:15 and demanded to get a prescription for my friends 85 y/o father. If you are closing at 5:55/5:56/5:57, then that is what you need to advertise as your closing time. I did my part, but the people who work at Walgreens dont give a Crap. They did not hold up their end of the time. It is also a great stop for those from out of town heading to Folly Beach. The buy one get one free specials and Club Publix electronic coupons can save you a lot of money. If you're not already in Club Publix rewards, you can enroll with your phone number. However, you do not need to be a member or "have a card" to get the sale prices here. Publix shares its parking lot with quite a few businesses, so at times you may need to park further away and walk.
