Food- was craving lomo Saltado ever since I had it in Peru so here I am, trying out a random food hall lomo Saltado, definitely hits the spot but it's absolutely nothing close to the authentic version. Things that would make it better: less salty and add the bell peppers! The chicken chaufa is aight just like any standard chicken fried rice Service- Spanish speaker chef/staff, friendly Ambiance- food hall casual industrial vibes

I love that this part is inside of the conservatory galleria where you have other food spots so it's great for happy hour or go to lunch with coworkers. My favorite dish from the Peruvian cuisine is definitely ceviche. I ordered it here and it's so fresh I asked for it spicy and yes it was spicy but so so good that I couldn't stop eating. As you see in the picture, it was a pretty big portion. And the maracuya (passion fruit) drink was so sweet and yummy and fresh. It goes pretty well with the ceviche. Their secret eats on the leche de Tigre each place has their own way to do this so it all remains so flavorful these days there's one it has to be one of my top favorites that I've had.

Ceviche Mixto ($22) -- shrimp, white fish, squid, hominy, corn nuts. Really refreshing and yummy, nice portion of protein too!

Having only had ceviche once in Miami, I was really pleasantly surprised with CVCHE's fresh and bright flavors! Ceviche is raw seafood cured in citrus and seasoning, so it's a cold dish and perfect for the summer heat. The Mixto came with shrimp, white fish, and squid-- a generous portion of protein and beautiful spread of colors! Hominy, Peruvian corn (think fried corn nuts), and a wedge of yam (?) add to the variety of textures and flavors. There's a kick of acidity from the lime that's not too overpowering. If you're a spicy wimp like me, maybe opt for no spice; we got mild and still needed to take breaks from the extra peppery flavor every so often! Lyn N. and I enjoyed the shrimp and white fish the most, but we demolished the entire bowl together. It would be nice if the bowl came with some tostadas or crackers (but I think that's more of a Mexican and not a Peruvian thing?). Happy to try something new, and it was a great intro to the Conservatory! Service was straightforward, and they text you when the order is ready. There's a tiny seating area dedicated for the shop, but it's probably more comfortable to find seating elsewhere in the booths. A little pricey, but for the amount of protein and occasional treat, I'm looking forward to trying something new next time!

I was in between on trying this place and then a friend told me that I should try it because they have a good seafood rice. I was in search for the best Lomo Saltado in the Galleria and stumbled across this place. The service is efficient as it is in a food hall And it's not overly crowded. The ambience is kind of futuristic but again it's in a food hall so you can grab your food and sit down or not. Onto the food... Lomo Saltado was so tender. The tomatoes were so juicy that I wanted to hug the person that put my food together. I'm not sure if they give away sauces like how they typically do at a Peruvian Restaurant, but I'm sure that you could probably ask. It didn't need any sauce and it last me two days take what you want from this lol 10 out of 10.

Wow, this is a hidden gem in the food hall! I tried the Ceviche 713 - it was so flavorful, loved the corn nuts, the fish was fresh, and it also came with a spicy sauce that added even more of a kick! I'd definitely be back to try other dishes. Service is what you'd expect from a food hall. Ambience of the food hall is nice, and it's fun to grab drinks at the bar and central sitting area.

Bold and fresh flavors from a food hall stall! The fish is fresh and the ceviches are refreshing. This is a great standout for those looking for something lighter and outside of the common hot chicken and taco offerings. Don't get me wrong..the tacos and hot chicken concepts here are also very good! But they're almost a dime a dozen nowadays.

    Causa ceviche

Food was delicious. It's located inside an indoor market which made it hard to find at first. There's other places inside the market where ppl can try different foods. Ceviche was fresh and the Causa was the right amount of spicy. Will definitely recommend this place.

Quick service and hits the spot. Ceviche tastes better as a shared dish though, found it a bit sour. There's casual seating nearby

The mango is always incredibly fresh, juicy, and perfectly sweet. My go-to order is the Mango Pancake, which is light, fluffy, and not overly sweet. The fresh mango in the center is definitely the star of the show, pairing perfectly with the airy whipped cream. The delicate pancake wrapper has a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture that ties everything together beautifully. This visit, I decided to switch things up and try the Mango Coconut Sago drink. It was generously sized and incredibly refreshing. The creamy coconut complemented the sweet mango perfectly, and the drink had an almost slushy texture that was ideal for a hot Houston day. The sago added a fun, chewy texture that made every sip even more enjoyable. The service has always been quick, and the employees are consistently friendly and helpful, making each visit a pleasant experience. If you're looking for a refreshing dessert, a quick snack, or a delicious drink to beat the heat, I definitely recommend stopping by. Whether it's your first visit or your fifth, this place is always worth the trip!

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

We all liked the harry potter experience and some different anime type experiences as well that my children liked. The foods and drinks are on theme and although it's not cheap, it's definitely not as much as Disneyland. We came on the weekends, but during lunchtime, and I can see how they might be really busy during the dinner rush. Sometimes you might need a timed entry to go in, but thankfully, we have not since we've been going. I will say that it's quite small and gets cramped really fast. I just think the experience of it all is a really cool and I'm happy we have fun places like this around us in Houston.

I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. One of the most surprising things when you come here are the relatively affordable prices as you might expect them to be more for being a coffee shop attached to a 5-star hotel with a helipad.

Since we were already in the area after breakfast at TJ's Filipino Cuisine, we finally got the chance to stop by and try their baked goods for ourselves. We arrived early, so the bakery wasn't too busy yet. The bakers were busy prepping more goodies in the back while my cousin and I browsed all the Filipino baked goods we really miss from back home in the Philippines. They even had suman, sapin-sapin, biko, and other kakanin, which was nice to see. I specifically looked for the chicken empanada, and my cousin wanted to try the ube white chocolate chip cookie. We also saw different kinds of siopao and planned to come back later to buy some before heading back to San Antonio. We tried the ube white chocolate chip cookie first, but honestly we weren't totally satisfied. It tasted more like a regular white chocolate chip cookie with purple coloring and didn't really have much ube flavor. I also tried the chicken empanada. My cousin didn't like it because it was sweeter than expected--we were both expecting it to be savory. There seemed to be caramelized sugar in the outside of the pastry, which probably added to the sweetness. I still like it, though it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada is still my favorite. Later that day before leaving Houston, we came back for the siopao we planned to take home. We finally decided to just buy a couple pieces for ourselves, heat them up in the bakery, and try them fresh. When we saw the price for a four-pack, we were honestly disappointed. It felt expensive for the size. The siopao wasn't huge, and while I like the dough, there wasn't much chicken filling inside. For the portion, taste, and quality, it felt overpriced. Overall, it's probably not worth making another trip back for us. We did enjoy the cassava ube suman, and I like the chicken empanada, but not enough to drive all the way to Houston just for those. If I live nearby, I might come back to try other baked goods, but based on this visit, I'm not sure the rest would impress my palate. I still give them credit for cleanliness and customer service, although we did notice fruit flies on one of the shelves and reported it. The staff was friendly, and the bakery itself was welcoming. At the end of the day, since they're a bakery, the expectation is great-tasting, quality, mouthwatering Filipino breads, pastries ", and kakanin. While some items were enjoyable, overall it just didn't quite live up to the hype for us.
