Average at best tonight. Service was slow, waited 15 minutes for the server to show up and take drink orders. After that it was good but not great. Drinks were very good, maybe this is a HH spot and not dinner Steaks were overcooked, we ordered medium and the filet and strip were both medium well plus. The sides were fair but nothing extraordinary. Dessert may have come from Costco and was bland. Lastly they "accidentally" added a x corkage fee but did remove that when we asked about he charge. Good atmosphere, but the food and service did not stand up to the pricing. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes. They were cooked in too hot of an oil, as the tomatoes were still raw but the breading was overdone. Meanwhile, the sauce that was ladled over it made the overdone breading soggy. My wife got the Cuts Ribeye ordered medium well. It came out definitely well done, and lying on a bed of mashed pototoes. It was very tender. I'm not sure how you were supposed to cut the meat without just having the potatoes squirting out the sides. I got the Red Snapper, and it was fine, although the side veggie was heavy on an avocado mash/gaucomole that didn't pair particularly well with the fresh veggies/fruits in the side. The servers were all pleasant, but could use more training, as they did not bring bread plates with the bread, and seemed to disappear at the end of the meal for a very long time. Ok I will start by saying I was invited to a friends birthday so I actually did not eat, this review is regarding ambience, service, entertainment etc. We were in the lounge area where they had an incredible singer doing a lot of Motown hits, but also some 80s and recent songs. When I tell you I had the most fun at a restaurant I have had in years I'm not kidding. The decor is stunning, I felt a great vibe from the minute I walked in. Hostess was super sweet and immediately led me to the Birthday Gal. Singer was amazing and so fun. Manager John was making sure everyone was taken care of and having the best time! 5 stars for me hands down! I was sat immediately and waited on in great timing! Our server was on it too, couldn't ask for a better meal/service. Im not from the area I live 6 hours away and just wanted a good steak not expecting what I was walking into. I was very under dressed but no one made me feel out of the ordinary, was treated with great respect, very clean place as well! Now let me tell you I just had the best steak I've probably ate and I've told all my friends and family if they ever end up in this area to come to this place that they wouldn't be disappointed. I had my 2 year old daughter with me and they were all very sweet to her treating her to strawberry ice cream. I went to the Sugarloaf location. Appetizers were to die for. Dinner was so good our entire group was shocked at how great the food was. The service was just as good as the food. We had a party of 7 and TWO servers working together to take care of us. They both were so educated about the types of wine and explained the food so well. Gorgeous modern luxo-comfort decor. It has a clean, well appointed modern bar with table seating. The restaurant and staff are world class and fitting for the food pricing. On our visit they went out of their way to provide extra service and accommodation. She had the 22oz ribeye and I had the Duck. I've eaten all over the world and spent $500 before drinks on dinner a few times. This food matched that quality for a third the price. We were both impressed. I don't think some of these reviewers went to the same place we went to. Either that or they don't get out much and prefer food prepared more along the lines of Ruby Tuesdays. Not sure. Of course, we didn't try everything on the menu, so we can't speak with any credibility about anything but the Bacon appetizer (amazing), the Duck dinner and the Ribeye dinner. I came here last month with a group of 8. We frequent many restaurants in the are on a regular basis. We were looking forward to this from what we saw in the reviews from Open Table. We told our hostess were were all here and she was very nonchalant. Overall the service was just sad. I had to order my diet coke 3 times before it finally came. Several folks ordered steaks that were way over charred. A quarter inch of char is way too much. I ordered the scallops which had a strangely bitter garnish that was overpowering. Several of us complained about our meals. Responses were meh. Refills for diet coke were not complementary. Overall, not a pleasant meal. We will not be going back. read more

My husband and I went for my birthday. Worst service and food. They forgot about us - it took 45 minutes for our food after several promises of, " it's on the way right now." We both ordered our steaks medium, mine was extra we'll done and pot roast stringy and my lobster was so over cooked, the flesh was splitting and rubbery. My husband's steak was completely rare and cold in the center. The sides left much to be desired, as well; I had one raw Brussels sprout, quartered and my husband had a fingerling potato, also raw, and three mushrooms. Everything was covered in brown gravy. Two separate servers brought us two separate checks and could not determine which was which. The manager refused to meet our eyes when walking the floor or visit our table when requested. My husband made reservations at this restaurant for our after Valentine's Day dinner. We never go out on the actual day. We absolutely love this restaurant. The decor inside the restaurant was very nice and it felt very warm and inviting. We tend to do early reservations so we were sat immediately. Our server team took very good care of us throughout the entire meal. Our main server, Mike, was very good about answering questions about the menue items and offered recommendations for us to keep in mind. We started off with the beef carpaccio and shared a Caesar salad. The beef was melt in your mouth delicious and the salad was incredibly fresh. I loved the touch of the two small anchovy fillets on top of the salad. Though anchovy is in Caesar dressing I rarely see them as a garnish. I love any kind of fish so I very much enjoyed them. We both got the prime NY Strip mine with chimichurri sauce and his with a bearnaise sauce. We shared sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection and the sauces added a wonderful element to the steaks. It is worth noting that the stakes all on their own were absolutely delicious. The sauces were just and extra layer of flavor. The mashed potatoes were a perfect texture and the hollandaise on top of the asparagus was delightful. We finished off dinner with coffee and desserts. My husband and I both ended up getting the Georgia peach cheesecake. The cheesecake is a very light and fluffy crustless cheesecake with salted caramel and grilled peaches. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. It is clear that the staff really cares about the restaurant and the food being served. The service that we got from everybody was impeccable. The restaurant does have a small piano lounge area that apparently has live music every evening except for on Sundays. My husband and I are very much looking forward to checking that out soon. If you live near the Gwinnett area and want to go have an upscale dining experience I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

So glad to have this caliber of a first class steakhouse without the drive to ITP. They do need to work on their cocktails. I ordered a Ranch Water with Casamigos Reposado and got watered down Blanco tequila. Of course I sent it back and the next one was an improvement but still not made correctly. They don't use Topo Chico sparking water. My friend ordered a Hendricks Cucumber martini and they had no idea how to make it so we googled it and showed them the correct way. Made a reservation for the first time at this steakhouse on a Friday night. Family members traveled from out of town and we wanted them to have a nice experience. Nice atmosphere/ambience. Food was a bit bland. Our experience turned for the worst at the end. We were a party of four and were automatically charged gratuity. After paying, our server Ricardo returned to our table and asked why we didn't tip. My father explained gratuity was added. He was very confused. The other server Kate said this was a mistake and that everything was ok. Ricardo had no clue gratuity was added. She also suggested a manager must've added gratuity accidentally to our check? First of all we had reservations for 2 , we waited 15 min to be escorted to a table near a swinging kitchen door , we asked to be relocated to a different table which took another 15-20 min . I couldn't understand why it took so long when the restaurant was near empty at 7pm . They accommodated us to better seating . Our server Francisco was very professional and knowledgeable of the menu , food and drinks superb . I had the Lobster tails and my husband had the NY Strip , both had Garlic mash potatoes , all very good . The music that played overhead made me feel like I was shopping in mall , the place has a very sexy vibe but the music changes that immediately , honesty We could have had another cocktail after dinner but because of the music we decided to have that coattail elsewhere.
