What I wanted vs what I got

Well I guess this what I get for trying to try a different nail salon. I'm officially done giving mail salons my hard earned money. They said they can do what you show them then you end up with something completely different. It took 35 minutes to be seated let alone to soak my nails off when I could've been soaking them off while they were finishing other people. The shape started off great but when it got to the color and buffing of the dip is when it went completely downhill. Then to charge $95 for white tips and some rhinestones. Truly baffled. So $110 with tip to not love my nails at all. 2 and a half hours wasted and $110 basically thrown away because I plan on taking these off. Rushed through my nails and didn't seem to care if I liked them or not.

I have tried several nail salons in KC and Lee's Summit before I found this salon. I was attracted to the lack of a television set and the modern decor. I will admit I was treated rudely when I initially walked in for my first visit. However, my technician, Henry, made me feel very welcomed and took great care with my nails. After that initial visit, I was serviced by 2 other ladies there that did horrible jobs on my nails. HORRIBLE! I learned to just make my appointments with Henry to avoid disappointment. Henry is very patient with me, offers me a beverage, and does small talk with me -- all of which I appreciate. Every time I get a design added -- which is not very often -- I get SEVERAL COMPLIMENTS from both men and women. When I get my (gel) nails done by Henry, they last the entire 2 weeks. I make jewelry as a hobby, and the only time my nails chip or break is if I am recklessly using them to manipulate metals instead using a tool. I highly recommend this salon, particularly Henry if you're getting standard polish or gel nails done.

The nail tech scrubbed my feet for less than 5 sec, the massage was painful and less than 2 min. While the gel polish looks good, the bottoms of me feet clearly look untouched. Never again!

I was hesitant to try a manicure, but I did it anyway as a part of my new "Living My Best Life"…read moreinitiative. I was a walk-in, so the wait was about an hour. The vibe is calm and quiet, and the shop is very clean, well organized , and modern in its appearance. A very nice gentleman, Din, was my manicurist. He was very patient with me and explained the process as we went along. (I got a gel French manicure on my natural nails.) He barely batted an eye when I asked how he might repair the nail that had been (seemingly) irreparably split for 4+ years. When he was done, I couldn't believe how beautiful my nails looked AND that the damaged nail looked and felt perfect! I've been back twice since that initial visit and plan to make a fresh manicure an ongoing part of my self care ritual. I give Julie's Nail Salon two very enthusiastic and beautifully manicured thumbs up!

I got a pedicure and the lady told me it would be $56 and I was ok with that cuz my toes . My daughter however did not get a pedicure and just got a full set with simple and basic nails (she's not a girly girl)I got a full set with red color and a design on 2 nails and our total was $156 bucks plus the tip. They over charged us because we were from out of town and I'm thinking something else but I won't say it in this review. Plus when the guy who was doing my nails said they did eyebrows because I asked, he said yes but the owner Julie said no . $100 foe some basic ass nails. Stay clear of this place PS the lady who did my pedicure was nice
