What I wanted vs what I got

Well I guess this what I get for trying to try a different nail salon. I'm officially done giving mail salons my hard earned money. They said they can do what you show them then you end up with something completely different. It took 35 minutes to be seated let alone to soak my nails off when I could've been soaking them off while they were finishing other people. The shape started off great but when it got to the color and buffing of the dip is when it went completely downhill. Then to charge $95 for white tips and some rhinestones. Truly baffled. So $110 with tip to not love my nails at all. 2 and a half hours wasted and $110 basically thrown away because I plan on taking these off. Rushed through my nails and didn't seem to care if I liked them or not.

If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I've been coming to Bloom for years and, while I've had minor issues in the past, this last experience was my final straw. About a month ago, I came in for a pedicure and noticed that one of my toenails looked damaged. I pointed it out to the technician, who assured me it was fine and that they could still complete the pedicure. I even asked another pedicurist nearby for a second opinion, and she agreed. Since they were the professionals, I trusted their judgment. Less than a week later, my big toenail completely came off--the same day I was standing in a beach wedding. I immediately scheduled an appointment to come back in. Within 24 hours of that nail coming off, my other big toenail also detached and had a pocket of pus underneath. At that point, I called a podiatrist and was seen right away. During my appointment, she removed a significant amount of dead skin from the nail bed and explained that it appeared to have been repeatedly pushed underneath the nail during pedicures over at least the past year. She also expressed concern that non-sterile instruments may have contributed to the infection beneath my nail. I returned to Bloom on May 27 to have the gel polish removed from my remaining toes, my full-set pedicure removed, and a clear-coat manicure applied. From the moment I arrived, I was treated poorly. The technician who initially assisted me told me I couldn't have order a drink, because I wasn't a "real customer" since I wasn't receiving a "real service." When I disagreed, her attitude noticeably changed. She spent the remainder of my appointment ignoring me, talking about me to other employees, and even calling coworkers over to look at and laugh about my damaged nail beds. She was also rough while working on me, repeatedly grabbing my injured toes after I explained what had happened, told her it was painful, and asked her to stop. After my toes were finished, I moved to another station for my manicure. During that appointment, a male employee seated one bench away spent the entire time blowing kisses at me, winking, and whistling in my direction. I was so uncomfortable that I looked directly at the security camera at approximately 3:39 p.m. in an attempt to signal that something was wrong. When I brought my concerns to someone at the front desk, I was essentially told that their service was good. I later called again to report the inappropriate behavior and was told that their employees "wouldn't behave like that." I am disgusted and deeply disappointed by how this situation was handled. My medical concerns were dismissed, my pain was ignored, and I was made to feel humiliated and uncomfortable while seeking help after a serious complication. I have never felt so disrespected as a customer. I strongly do not recommend Bloom. After years of loyalty, I will never be returning.

I was hesitant to try a manicure, but I did it anyway as a part of my new "Living My Best Life"…read moreinitiative. I was a walk-in, so the wait was about an hour. The vibe is calm and quiet, and the shop is very clean, well organized , and modern in its appearance. A very nice gentleman, Din, was my manicurist. He was very patient with me and explained the process as we went along. (I got a gel French manicure on my natural nails.) He barely batted an eye when I asked how he might repair the nail that had been (seemingly) irreparably split for 4+ years. When he was done, I couldn't believe how beautiful my nails looked AND that the damaged nail looked and felt perfect! I've been back twice since that initial visit and plan to make a fresh manicure an ongoing part of my self care ritual. I give Julie's Nail Salon two very enthusiastic and beautifully manicured thumbs up!

I got a pedicure and the lady told me it would be $56 and I was ok with that cuz my toes . My daughter however did not get a pedicure and just got a full set with simple and basic nails (she's not a girly girl)I got a full set with red color and a design on 2 nails and our total was $156 bucks plus the tip. They over charged us because we were from out of town and I'm thinking something else but I won't say it in this review. Plus when the guy who was doing my nails said they did eyebrows because I asked, he said yes but the owner Julie said no . $100 foe some basic ass nails. Stay clear of this place PS the lady who did my pedicure was nice
