I'm not sure where ANYONE has something bad to say about Custom Dynamics Customer Service Department. I dealt with three of them today 10/24/2024 Leigh Anne, Spencer and finally Jeff Fuller. All of them FIVE STAR! Story..... I have a 2007 Street Bob. I ordered a light kit, damn almost 15 -17 years ago. (Where does the time go) It was so long I forgot what I ordered. So I call up with a problem with my triple play because my rear Turn, Brake and Running light are now just turn again. I send my info over to them, but I'm impatient and after sending them an email, I try to jump on chat for a quicker response. First I get Spencer. He was pleasant polite and knowledgeable. But, my phone disconnects from Chat. So i hop on my PC and try and chat again.. This time i get Leigh Anne. She informs me that some one already has my service ticket and asks for my phone number and someone will call me. I give it to her and within 30 seconds. 30 SECONDS! Jeff Fuller calls me. He checks out my pics and lets me know, In the nicest way, " Sir, that is a Harley Davidson Turn Brake Tail light module not ours but, that is our street magic load stabilizer, so lets check a couple of things. Are you near your bike?" I said, "I was" and then ran around the house looking for my keys as he waited patiently. Once at the bike, he asked me a couple questions, had me check a couple things to make sure that the CD load stabilizer wasn't the issue. He then said, "That the problem is most likely the HD Brake turn Running light module" because, the CD product seemed to be just fine. ( Which, we all knew that. He just wanted to make 100% sure". It's hard enough to get people on the phone now a days to help you with their own companies product. But, to get 3 competent, and respectful people who spoke clear English , Is like a unicorn sighting. I can't stress enough, that they were polite, kind and in no way shamed me for calling in with an issue on some product that wasn't even theirs, let's not even mention that the product that was theirs was almost 20 yrs old. I'm guessing its probably out of warranty! In the End, it was the HD part that was bad. Not Thiers. Yet Jeff still took the time to help me diagnose the issue before we ended the chat. So, anyone that says anything about their customer service department is either mistaken, high, or both. All three people I dealt with, were exceptional. Thank you to Custom Dynamics and the Custom Dynamics Cust Service Depart for being what is missing nowadays in most businesses. Good People who care, are knowledgeable, go above and beyond, and who know what Exceptional Customer Service is! ps Now I'm ordering my new Triple Play from Custom Dynamics. Thank You. I bought an extended wiring harness for my Harley handlebars. When dry fitting the wires on my right side hand controls I noticed 3 colored wires that weren't included In the kit. I emailed them and they confirmed they sent the right kit and asked If I wanted a call from their tech department like they could send me the 3 wires through the phone. They also said they don't normally take returns and they were going to make an exception for me. I had to pay postage to send their made in Vietnam wire kit back. I think It's safe to say I won't be doing any other business with them. read more

Great products and amazing service! Several years ago I bought some cheapie LED lights off the internet for an older RK... not a feel-good story. This time around a friend recommended Custom Dynamics and they did not disappoint!! My 2022 FLHR now has a full set of high-quality LEDs front and rear, and I just added the brake light pulser kit to briefly flash the taillight and turn signals when braking. The sales and service people at Custom Dynamics go out of their way to make sure you've got the right stuff - and the instructions are spot-on!! Great people, great products!! read more

7/22/22 I just received and installed the LED tail/brake/signal lights that I ordered from Custom Dynamics/Pro Beam, and I couldn't be happier. They're extremely high quality,super bright, and also very easy to install. The installation instructions were very easy to follow and as if that weren't enough, they provide a link to their YouTube video tutorial in case one is not bright enough to follow simple written directions. This is my third purchase from Custom Dynamics in the past year. I had earlier purchased an LED running/brake light strip to mount below the luggage rack on my Harley Freewheeler. I did the same on my previous Freewheeler last year. My son did me a favor and installed those LED's for me. I could have done it in my younger years, but it presented a challenge to me physically to do those installs. However, they also came with all the installation hardware and very comprehensive installation instructions. Great products! read more

Ordered a part on Sunday. They are in NC and I live in Florida. They send an email saying they shipped it, but it is Tuesday, and USPS still says they have yet to receive it. I had hoped with modern technology, I could have had it in a few days, for my trip on Saturday, but no chance. I have should have ordered from Eagle LED, because they have better turn around. Won't order from Custom dynamics again, now that I am leaving on my trip without what I ordered. read more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! I had to call with a technical question a while back, and Barry was exceptional with solving the problem. MOST recently, I called because a couple of l.e.d.'s quit in my 12 year old turn signals on the Road Glide. I put them on before it left the showroom! I love 'em. Bought a tri bar eliminator harness. Simple plug and play right?? Uh no !!! did not want to plug in either way and prongs broke off in my harness After wasted conversations and email. They thought they would do me a big favor and offer a 10 percent discount to buy more of there made in China crap. Meanwhile I have a damaged harness that does not work correctly and can be very expensive to replace unsafe to ride Great company that stands behind there product and goes above and beyond to take care of there customers ?!! In the summer of 2018 I purchased a set of ProBeam signal lights at The Sturgis Rally for my 2016 Road Glide. A few weeks ago one of the lens covers came off and the signal light itself came out and eventually tore away from the wiring. When I observed this I checked the other signal light and the lens was starting to deteriorate as well and eventually would ended the same as the first. I contacted Custom Dynamics by email later that day and was surprised to have a response in the morning. Candace H was awesome and responded to a few more of my emails very quickly and within a couple hours I was notified that the replacement parts would be mailed to me, no charge, to Canada. Extremely pleased firstly with the service I received from Custom Dynamics and in particular Candace H who dealt with my claim. I live in Miami, but I buy many personal stuffs online. I believe that great customer service by phone when dealing with someone miles away from you is equally important as face to face interaction. This was my case with this company, especially Kim, who was patient and knowledgable about the products I needed for my motorcycle. Good evening, After leaving more messages then I choose to remember for the BIG BOSS TO CALL, I figured I would just type out what I would rather speak.... I recently purchased a 2016 HD Ultra (FLHTK) and needed to change out just about everything that lit up on this bike.... I was blessed by being put in contact with Jamie Ziff.... His dedication, follow-up, eagerness to help, knowledge of products, both on HD and CD, I was amazed.... Their was never a day where I emailed or called Jamie with COUNTLESS questions, that I did not receive answers, solutions, or part numbers.... When one mistake was made, Jaime owned up to giving me the wrong part number and offered to make it right ASAP.... That kind of Customer Service does not exist these days with many or any company... I am honestly not done with CD, I still need about 3-5 high dollar options for my Ultra, and I won't hesitate to contact Jamie for all my questions and concerns.... Custom Dynamics is a great store for motorcycle lighting and have some of the best LED's out there. . I bought the adaptive headlight 7 inch and the high beam is great but the low beam is pretty dim (and yes it has been adjusted accordingly) it is so dim that at night you can not see into the corners without using the high beams, I even had to readjust my passing lamps to help illuminate the road better. According to a test that was done on one headlight exactly like the one I bought, the Max LUX on low beam is 290 which is very poor and the high beam is a great 1290 Max LUX . Now here is the biggest issue about Custom Dynamics. If you live outside the country and you are not happy about how bright a particular light is for example no matter what light you purchased, and as long as you did not buy it through them directly, they can not help you. I paid over $1200 for this headlight and can not return it. If you install a light and are not happy with the brightness (like I am) you are out of luck. They do not take any lighting product back once it is installed due to a customer being unhappy. On that note if you live outside the Country and are interested in a light (s) order it through custom dynamics directly. This way they can save you the shipping and handling as well as all the taxes. My problem was I bought my light through the dealer which is considered 3rd party. I did not know this and therefore lost over $1200. Now I have to sell it at a huge loss then find something that works bright on high and low beam. read more

I ordered LED lights for my 2017 FLTRXS and the flasher module. The person at CD who helped was very professional and did not attempt to upsell any additional items. My purchased shipped quickly and arrived at my home unblemished. The installation guides were easy to read and I had everything up and running in 30 minutes. After setting up my 2012 FLHTCU a few years ago with a full set of Custom Dynamics LEDs (brake/signal/tourpak), some recent electrical issues related to a dying battery caused malfunctions. The CD tech representative took the time on the phone to walk me through several diagnostic steps, which quickly isolated the problem as a few burned out connectors on one module, and the sales rep quickly got me set up with the right replacement part. My 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special is complete with Custom Dynamics lighting. Not for the warranty... but for the quality and brilliance of the lighting itself. Very incredible in quality and ease of installation. When I purchased all my lighting I did not pay attention to what kind of warranty Custom Dynamics offered. However, when three little LED's went out on an array of a great many LED's I contacted Custom Dynamics on what might be wrong with them. I bought a Tri Bar Led light for my 2015 Harley Street Glide and the wiring harness was defective. After speaking with tech they sent out a replacement harness, but sent it out "snail mail" and took 5 days to get to me. You would think if they sell you a defective product and you have your bike torn apart, they would overnight the replacement! Poor Cust service ! read more

I make many purchases on line for my motorcycle. I ordered a set of plasma lights and 2 converters. When my HD dealer said that they wouldn't fit my bike I sent them back. This was after many phone calls from my dealer to custom dynamics as well as several from me. Upon custom dynamics receiving my returned order they charged me $33.00 for "processing" the merchandise back into their inventory. I called & spoke to Lynn, who identified herself as a supervisor and all she did was talk over me, act unprofessionally, be rude & couldn't be bothered with my call. I'd really like the CEO's email address so that I can make the owners aware of how I was treated. These lights were a big spend for me so I called and spoke to customer service to be sure everything I was ordering fit my Road King. Then right after I ordered I realized a mistake and spoke to customer service again.
