I know I'm not the only one who really struggles to find a trustworthy car dealer (or private seller) - so when I found ReDrive with literally hundreds of good reviews I thought it had to be a scam. Definitely not a scam. - Impeccable customer service. I personally had the pleasure of doing business with Milo. He was very patient with me. Quick to get back with you. I actually believe that the staff genuinely cares about the quality of their vehicles and their customers needs & buying experience. -Your car will not have ANY problems. It's mainly a mechanic shop so they look over the car really well themselves. They replaced the smallest of things all the way down to the radio tune knob - who does that?? They will not let somebody drive off with a lemon, they insure their cars are in the best condition possible - mechanically and cosmetically. -You get the high end of private sell KBB price and the low end of dealer sell KBB price. To me, that is SO worth it when you're doing business with an honest reputable business. I live 2.5 hours away from ReDrive - so so SO worth it. I cannot stress enough how easy they made my car shopping experience. I didn't think I would ever trust a dealer. I didn't think finding a car could be as stress free as it was. DO NOT SELL YOUR CAR HERE! Redrive advertises they pay 1000 dollars more than CarMax, this is absolutely not true and is a scam. I literally left CarMax and went straight to Redrive. Redrive offered me 2000 dollars LESS than CarMax for my Honda Pilot. When I pointed to the sign in front of the shop that says "We pay $1000 more than CarMax", the man who gave me the offer, I believe his name was Daniel, said "That's just something we say." Save your time and do not go here, they only advertise the 1000 dollars more than CarMax to get you in the door. This is not a recommendation for CarMax, they don't give fair market value either. A friend backed into my defenseless, little 2016 Honda Fit so I needed a place to get the dent fixed. I had also been having issues with my rear windshield wiper so I figured I'd knock out both issues at once. I originally went to Caliber Collision on Capital Blvd and they quoted me $723 just for the bumper (the dent wasn't that bad but they said it'd probably all need to be replaced anyway). Yikes. My friend needed to pay out of pocket so I was hoping for a better deal. Luckily, I came across Honda Connect on Yelp! They were able to get my bumper as good as new for hundreds less than the other quote I got. Plus, they identified that the issue with my rear windshield wiper was that part of it had come loose, so they did me a favor and fixed it right up! Extremely kind of them to do that. The whole time Blake and his team were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend getting your car fixed by them! read more

Blake provided prompt and professional service on my Honda Element. He gave me an honest estimate over the phone which is tough to do w/out performing diagnostics. He also performs his work at very reasonable rates which were half what dealer rates are. Last plus was that he only charged cost on parts for the repairs. One of the nicest staff I have ever see run a business. I wasn't even there to buy one of their cars. One of their clients was selling his old car on Facebook market place and these guys at Redrive were nice enough to hold the car on their lot. When I arrived, Mike the master mechanic was there. I then asked him about the car he stated it was in the back but wasn't sure if it ran. He quickly grabbed his jumper kit and the Keys walked me out back. Mike made sure he got the car running and told me all about the car. He was the one who did previous work to the car. Here is this man giving me all types of advice knowing I didn't go there to do any business with Redrive. Then the sales men got there and printed out the car fax, I was amazed. never have I had service like that before. I wasn't ready to drive the car home that second. They told me they would hold the car for me on their lot for me to pick the car up when ever I was ready. I let them know I would return at night. Great working with Blake. Great deal on replacing two Catalytic convertors on a Honda Pilot. I had an issue with an O2 sensor, but Blake made this right. It was great that Blake showed me his invoice for the parts so I was paying his price and not the normal shop markup for parts. I do most of my own repairs and would definitely go back. Blake does more of the bigger jobs, like engine swaps, there were two going on when I was there, not just on Honda's, one was Toyota. Probably not the place for an oil change though. In December of 2016, my 2003 Honda accord's engine gave out. Honda of Southpoint stated that the lifters were damaged and that I would need a new engine. After a day or so that came back and told me with parts and labor that I would be looking at around $4,500.00. The thing is, you can get another vehicle for that price. Also the engine that they were going to get for me, was the same engine I was going to buy online except with an $800.00 markup. So I started to check with other garages in the area and was told a few different things. A few of them stated that I should just cut my losses and buy a newer vehicle, some quoted prices around the same price as Honda of Southpoint and one place said the would but it for scrap. I came across Honda Connect on a Craigslist ad and called. I spoke with Blake about my engine problem and he had a solution that was considerably cheaper that the dealer or any other garages. I bought and engine from an online seller, JDM, engines that he was familiar with and had it sent to his shop. He had the engine place in my car in a few days and I was back mobile again. He also got some parts that I needed and charged cost. The staff is knowledgeable and will take time to address and concerns. If you are having problems with your Honda and other garages give you the run around, give him a call. Thank you Blake! read more

Providing an update to my initial review - fast forward into this year when I was having issues with my speedometer not working back in April. I called Blake and he told me that he was going to be out of town for a few days but would get back to me with a time for me to bring my car in but he never did. No biggie, I know he's busy so I sent a text on April 13 asking him if he had a chance to check the schedule yet. No response, so I sent another text on April 14, still no response. So I called and left a voicemail message, still no response. I sent another text on April 17 and still no response. I gave up and ended up contacting another guy from Craigslist who also works on Hondas and he was able to get it fixed. I was puzzled so I sent another text to Blake on April 25 letting him know that I had gotten the issue fixed but that I didn't think it was cool that he never got back to me. I dropped the issue though and thought - no biggie, things happen. Fast forward again to this past Friday, Oct. 9. I called Blake and told him that my check engine light had come on and asked him when he could check out the car to see what was going on. He told me to go to Advance Auto to have them pull the codes and send them to him so that he would know what the issues were and could go ahead and get parts ordered if needed. I relayed to him later that day via text that they said my car was too old for them to pull codes but that there was a way to have it done but that they didn't do it. He responded back via text and said that he would try to get me in on Saturday to take a look at it. I told him that I had a 10 am appt. that shouldn't last more than an hour and he sent a text asking that I call him when I was done. I called around 10:40 am (earlier than expected) and got his voicemail so I left a message letting him know that I was done and wondered if he could fit me in and to call me back. Also sent a follow up text shortly thereafter and still no response. Called again around 1 pm and then sent another text around 1:30 but still no response. Called again around 4:20 and left another voicemail and still no response. I sent a final text today expressing my disappointment that he had not gotten back to me. I mean who does this?! What business does this? I know I haven't been into the shop since Oct. 2014 but that wasn't my fault either. And why tell me to call you if you knew you weren't going to call me back or fit me in? I did say that if Saturday didn't work to let me know what day during the week that would so I just find it very strange considering that I have been a good customer. I have always paid in cash and always had my car in on time. I guess my money isn't good enough for him anymore or he doesn't think that the amount of money that I spend is enough to keep me as a customer, so I certainly cannot in all good conscious recommend this shop to any of my friends and coworkers anymore. Small businesses like this need to realize that everyone is a valuable customer and should be treated as such. I'm a rarity in the fact that I'm a female and that I still have my 1992 Acura Legend that has 385K+ miles on it. I have had some awesome mechanics work on my car over the years (including the mechanic at this shop) and I've done my part as well to keep my girl on the road. I was hoping that this shop would be the last one that I would go to but sadly that is not the case. Blake does not have to ever worry about me contacting him again. This kind of behavior is deplorable and no customer deserves it and no good business owner would behave in this manner. read more
