I explained all I needed was a new battery to start a company truck, and for that battery to be charged to my company account. Without looking up any information, stated: "Yeah, I'm not doing that. You need to go to a commercial store near your company because I don't know you." My company is 40 minutes away and I've used my commercial account at different AAP locations before, including this one! Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to this location. If you know exactly what you need and simply need someone to process your checkout, this location may be fine. However, if you need basic assistance, have simple questions, or expect someone to help find a solution, based on my experiences, I would not recommend this store.

Unfortunately, our most recent experience was deeply disappointing. My wife brought the Maxima in for a steering issue. She was told the power steering fluid was leaking and that the rear brake pads needed replacement. A few days later, we noticed the brake pedal felt soft -- the car didn't stop immediately and required extra pressure to slow down. Within a week, the brakes worsened to the point that we had to pump the pedal to stop safely. We returned to Crossroads Nissan. This time, we were told the master cylinder needed to be replaced and that the power steering leak persisted. The technician said he was uncomfortable performing the repair because they rarely replace master cylinders and suggested we consider a newer vehicle instead. Given his reluctant, we took the car elsewhere for repair. The issue was resolved at that shop. We then requested reimbursement from Crossroads Nissan for the initial, ineffective work. Despite weeks of phone calls, voicemails, and emails, we received no response from the Service Manager. Only after including the General Manager in our correspondence did the Service Manager call back. Unfortunately, that call was highly unprofessional--he raised his voice, implied my wife and I were dishonest, and insisted the dealership would not reimburse anything. His tone was aggressive enough that I ended the conversation. It's disappointing to have this experience after more than a decade of loyalty. I hope the behavior of that Service Manager does not reflect the broader values of Crossroads Nissan of Wake Forest. I also hope management takes this feedback seriously and re-examines how customer concerns are handled moving forward. Unfortunately, our repeated attempts to resolve the matter directly have gone unanswered, leaving us with few remaining options. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership for vehicle repairs.

I went to Advance Auto in the Walmart shopping center on Glenwood, and was all set to start parts swapping (start with the battery, then try the alternator), and came out with my battery to find a puddle of coolant under my car. I see Dan chatting with the Advance Auto folks, he sees me, comes out and asks if I need help. We chat, he looks under the car, listens to me, and gives me a reasonable rate and estimate to fix the leak and the electrical issue. He gets the battery replaced (the old one was bad) and has the Advance Auto folks checking the electrical system while I'm going in to get the custom hard pipe hose assembly where the system is leaking. Advance Auto realizes that the alternator is also not producing enough current, and while I'm going in to buy a rebuilt alternator (and a timing belt - while we're at it), he replaces the hose assembly and cleans up some wires that the tie-wraps have rotted away. When I come out, he takes the parts, says he'll be done in 30 minutes. I run to Chick-Fil-A, eat a salad, come back and he's just finishing up. He charges a fair price, I write him a check, and have fixed everything including what may have been broken by the un-named major chain repair shop for $100 less than I would've been charged in the first place. I cannot recommend him enough after this experience. By the way, this was over a year ago, and we've had no major issues with the van since then, so Dan's work held up very well over time.

I decided to purchase the car and have it shipped to me. When it arrived there was an obvious problem with the interior that was not noted in the report. I called and spoke to the new manager, Miguel. He kindly listened to my complaint, looked at photos that I sent him, informed me that the technician who inspected my car had been let go and made the situation right. He seems genuinely interested in growing his business with positive customer relations. If I had to do this again I would call Miguel.

I am a first time car buyer and had booked a pre-puchase inspection from Proficient Auto Mobile…read moremechanics for a used (150k) Mazda6 2017 that I was planning to purchase. I had done extensive prior research on the known issues with the car so before the inspection, I had asked the mechanic Mike if they needed to know about specific things to check with the car such as for known TSB issues associated with this particular model. He shrugged it off saying they perform their own set of tests for the PPI. After the purchase, I soon realized the touch screen on the infotainment screen does not work due to delamination and none of the manufacturer recommended troubleshooting steps helped. Had to spend $200 to replace the entire screen since I wanted to upgrade the software. A month later, I notice the AC not cooling as soon as the weather got warmer (PPI done in mid-January). I called Proficient auto and they said ac was working when they checked (when weather was already very cold). I had to diagnose it myself and ultimately pinpointed it to low refrigerant in the AC unit. I took it to a local shop who charged $200 (almost same price as inspection) to do a recharge and leak test. The shop said it was as if I had almost no refrigerant left in the car. AC blew very cold after the service, however a few days later I start to hear a whirring noise coming whenever I turn on the AC and press accelerate (even in park). I had to get it diagnosed again and it turned out to be a known technical service bulletin (TSB 01-008-23) with this model where the belt tensioner is known to leak oil. Upon matching images in the TSB with my car, I found it be an exact same match for the issue and have to spend another $400 to replace the tensioner with a new one. Finallty, one of the tail light has already started falling off and I don't know how much I will have to spend on fixing that one. I generally don't write negative reviews but all this happened within 2 months of me getting the car and each diagnosis was very simple and visual only which would take any experienced mechanic less than 5 minutes and some extra equipment such as pressure gauges for the ac. I understand pre-purchase inspections can never reveal everything that's wrong with the car but these were especially simple checks which I could have leveraged to re-negotiate the price of the car with the seller. They even failed to mention that the tint levels on the car windows were illegal and I got pulled over for it once and had to get it removed myself! The amount of headache that I got with this purchase does not warrant paying around $200 for the PPI. I do not recommend anyone to go here for a PPI especially for a used car which is older since their inspections are not thorough.

My most recent visit here was a big miss…read more Scheduled factory service, and it was not inexpensive; fuel service, tranny service, axle service, oil change, cabin and air filters and more. I got the car back from service and at first, everything seemed okay but a day later I noticed the idle was off just a little, it wasn't a steady idle that I was used to, and the car stalled when I put it in reverse. I couldn't figure it out, so I assumed it was related to the fuel service and would have to work itself out. Day 5 after the service appointment the check engine light came on while getting on the highway to head home from work. Now I'm suspicious that something was not put back together correctly when it was returned to me after the service. Because I'm now leery of the techs at the dealership, and they were going to be closed up for the day anyway by the time I got back home, I went to "The Zone" to have them do the diagnostic. The diagnostic comes back with the trouble code "P0174 System Too Lean (Bank2)" and the suggested fix is to replace the mass air flow sensor. The guy at "The Zone" has me pop the hood, shows me where the mass air flow sensor is, and has me start the car. With the car running he was able to pull the wiring harness away from the sensor with no effort and he looks at me and says - that should not have happened and plugs the wire harness back in so it is secure and suddenly the idle becomes normal. I shut the car off and then he proceeded to point out to me the air filter housing is not correctly put back together, and not only that but it's also broken. Broken? How is that possible? Nobody has been under this hood since I bought this car except... the techs at the Team Chevrolet Creedmoor dealership. The guy at "The Zone" basically fixed the trouble code on the car for for free, reset the check engine light and asked if I wanted to order a Mass Air Flow sensor just in case it has gone bad. I felt like I don't really need the sensor and the car is running/idling much better now that the wiring harness is securely plugged back in. To be fair, the car was in a very minor collision recently and sustained some bumper and headlight assembly damage, but based on the location of the that damage, that very low speed bump should not have broken the air box or popped the wiring harness clip on the mass air flow sensor loose. The car had been running fine after the collision. So yes, the service from Team Chevrolet Creedmoor could have been better. Someone could have told me the air filter housing was broken, or maybe, if they had accidentally broken it, just let me know and be apologetic, let me know the part is being ordered and they'll fix it. If they are adamant they didn't break it, at least let me know it's broken and should be replaced. In addition, the car seemed to be hastily put back together after the service and steps were missed, one of which caused the car to throw a check engine trouble code. I did call the dealership and left a message asking the service manager to return my call to talk about the feedback I have. As of the point of originally posting this review, the call had not been returned. I get that dealership service departments can be stereotyped and demonized with a broad brush, some are deserved, others not so much. This was an experience that seems to support that "bad rep" stereotype. I won't say I'll never go back to this dealership, but at the moment and in the moment, I find it difficult to believe I will return here for service. EDIT: I did get to talk to the service manager and she was very apologetic about the trouble I had with the vehicle and she has offered to make it right with a service voucher. She thanked me for the feedback as it is a training tool for the service technicians about what to and not to do with a person's car.

I asked if they could get me in the next morning. Corey said that would be a tall order to which I replied "well, I've been calling you all day and nobody answers the phone". Corey politely and professionally informed me that I had the old phone number and gave me his business card with the correct number. The work was completed in a timely manner and competitively priced. (Although he explained exactly why the cost was it was.) Also, zero upsell which was very much appreciated. Sidenote; Corey also recommended a body shop to me where I could get repairs done on a messed up bumper. A great experience overall.

It was raining, getting dark and every shop was closing. Searching for any help I could get I found Boomer on google and said he was able to help.
